It is so valuable "bias towards action" I have never come across before I have known my priorities but always lost in sideways.. that knowledge can save at least my 2-3 years but probably learning that will save so much for later.Thank you so much for choosing to share.

33:15 "There are only 85 days left in this decade." 😊I hadn't thought of it that way. Liked your tips about: 1. not being afraid to try many things, 2. having a good relationship with yourself, 3. aiming for progress not perfection. These videos where you "just riff" are indeed longer but they also feel more personal. I enjoy them. 🙂
Thank you Bianca! I hadn’t thought of the decade like that either until I heard someone say it the other day, and I thought it was a good idea so I pinched it. Glad you enjoyed!
Hey Dan! I am the one there from your 300 subscribers list. I personally love your videos and always get motivated for rest of my day. I just want to know that are you going to make any video on how does a hard skinny guy can gain weight. BTW good luck for your future and ever growing channel. Love from INDIA!
Great stuff, Daniel! Interesting to see that I actually have a very similar workflow in place. I personally moved from Trello to Asana (also free) which I feel provides some neat extra features (like a "card" from a Checklist) and linking tasks between multiple projects (boards). I have copied your AI Master's and adjusted to my goals: very useful! Once again, thanks for creating such good content and sharing it with others!
Thank you Marcello! I really appreciate it! I haven’t tried Asana yet, I’ve used it on a collaborative project but not personally. Keep getting after it brother!
Bit irrelevant to this video Daniel. Currently trying to build my machine learning knowledge and skills. I have done a python course on udemy which was basic data science. My next steps are 3 Coursera courses: 1. Machine learning - Andrew Ng (to solidify the math behind the techniques) 2. deeplearning.ai 3. Application Data Science Specialization What are your opinions on this course selection and order? 😊 (Side note: I have learned the maths behind before in a machine learning module in uni, but as usual with college there was lots of other material to focus on and I never really took the time to understand)
@@mrdbourke yeah I wasn't sure what the order should be for that. I just found out there's a machine learning for finance Specialization, which I might add on to the end of that list, as it's the area I really want to apply ML and AI too. Planning to put any projects in these courses on my GitHub, and make blog posts on my GitHub pages of short reports on each project and how they work. So I have material to describe and talk about for interviews when I move to Canada in a few months 🇨🇦🇨🇦
That's an amazing combo. I also read the blog. It's super amazing. I've set my goals and has started. It's really helpful. Thank you for sharing this. @Daniel Bourke 😃
Another great video.. Since I'm following your channel from quite a while now. I had a question, well i have seen u go outside in the morning for manything like cycling exersice and that's ur daily habbit but the problem is weather is not suitable for 365/366 days. What u do when u don't hv rhe option to go out in the mornings?.. #great videos.keep it up #love from INDIA
Thank you Ankit! If I can’t go outside in the morning (very rare), I usually do yoga or some light stretching in my room/lounge room. I love beginning the day with movement.
There's a saying among people who spend a lot of time outdoors: "there's no bad weather, there's just bad clothing." 😁In other words, as long as you dress appropriately, you can be outdoors anytime (except for the occasional hurricane, tornado, or other extreme weather event.) I ride my bike year-round despite the fact that I live in an area with long winters and heavy snow. It's not always pleasant, but it's doable. If the snow is so bad that I really can't ride, I run. Running is always possible. 😁
Hi Daniel, thanks for all your videos, it help me a lot to start ML. I am wondering which machine (pc) should I buy? macbook or pc or use online sources to train the models (aws, google, ...). If you can made a video that describe all the tools that you use, ipad, desk, keyboard ... thanks
I use a MacBook Pro for everything I can except larger scale compute (more data than my computer can handle). For larger scale things, I use the cloud. But the computer you can afford. Anything with an SSD drive as well as 8+ GB of RAM will be great.
Hi Daniel, I've been trying out Trello to manage my tasks and interests in life and so far I'm liking it! I do have a problem that I'd like to ask: the opaque/transparency effect on some of your cards, are they due to a power-up? Is it card-aging? I noticed that you also have the calendar power-up enabled. Does your free account allow more than one power-ups? I only registered recently, and it seems the system only allows me to have one power-up per board, which kinda sucks. I think the transparency effect on cards is very helpful for hiding finished tasks.
Hey there! I think I have an old legacy version which allowed me to use multiple different power-ups. I think the maximum now is 1 before it becomes paid.
When you started, how did you get used to Trello and everything? I think you got used by just using it. How did you stick doing that? Sometimes I just forget that I have to, in the phase before getting the habit I mean
Because I was creating my own path, Trello was like my source of truth. I had a few different things going on so I needed somewhere to remember it all for me visually. And you’re right, after a while it became habit. I check it every week or so now to make sure I’m tracking well with the projects I’m on
Hey Daniel, I participated in kaggles houses prices comp. I submitted my work few times and finally I am at the top 50% (hopefully still till today as participants are increasing). Is there any source or people online who could help me and check my work and advice me on how to work it more properly next time ? I can pay for it. But as a newbie, I can't find a nearby mentor to check it and advice me.
Daniel can you make video on macOS (macbook) for machine learning because few people suggests Linux over macOS and few on macOS.! Loving ur videos, keeping making those ♥️
I prefer macOS because it’s what I’m used to. I’ve never used Linux so I’m not sure of the pros/cons. Laptop or OS doesn’t matter as much as in the end the ML code you write will be similar regardless of platform.
Sir can u tell us what to do n from where to start after completing python. Please share each every thing for becoming machine learning from basic. If u have made videos on it please post the link of those videos in next video thank you
Great video Daniel ! I admire your discipline! One question though, how do you balance projects and courses? I find that if I passively sit through a course I don't gain much of it whereas if I make a project I'm forced to stretch my abilities and actually apply my knowledge. Do you find that courses are more effective than projects or vice versa?
Thank you Blitzer! I use courses for foundation knowledge then projects of my own for specific knowledge. Specific knowledge is that which can’t be taught. It only happens through trial and error (trying out the things you’ve learned).
You should give Notion a try. Notion is a more flexable Trello like board. You can format any data any way you want it. I highly recommend you to watch Thomas Frank's video on Notion and how he used it to structure his videos (ua-cam.com/video/m9S5I3pWz94/v-deo.html)
I wanna do it like u, but I also think it will make me like a robot, one hand, I want to my daily life be more productive, the other hand, I still can not follow my plan well, this made me frustrated.

Question - Are you from Australia? If yes, which city?
I am from Australia, yes! I live in Brisbane.
Would you recommend Notion over Trello? I noticed your TF Certification plan in Notion , that is why I am asking
Trello is better for pure Kanban boards with multi-layer projects, Notion has the benefit of everything being in one document (Kanban and notes).
