The door is really cool, and the guide style is fresh and different! I do think that the observer terminology will confuse some people though. The observer is facing down when the face is on top, which may be counter intuitive. As well, I think it might be confusing which part of the door you're working on when the whole thing isn't in the frame.
All in all, I appreciate the effort to educate the masses on how redstone works rather than hand-holding through a block by block tutorial (:
On one hand this would definitely help redstoners of all skill levels learn but it does also waste time for those who understand but just can't be bothered to make their own design and just want a simple tutorial

I recently designed a 3x3 piston door w/ no redstone in the bottom. I did this so that I could have a retractable stair case directly under it.
Holy $hit, this is the best tutorial I've ever seen
Cool looking door, explinations were nice. Too bad it went so fast you don't have much time to actually see everything, and he skipped over several parts to put things, so it's a nightmare trying to keep up in one go.

What is the significance of using note blocks and targets instead of any other blocks? I’ve seen them used multiple times in different videos but have no idea what their functions are in contraptions like this.
Note blocks update pistons silently making the door less noisy. Its quite complicated but to understand, go find an explonation on qc (quasi connectivity). Its insanely hard to explain without visuals so I cant with a reply.
Target blocks redirect redstone dust (making the redstone dust point into the block). Its probably there because if he would have to put redstone somewhere else where its likely it would interfere with the wiring.

does jukeboxes still works for redstone in 1.20.1 ? I recently followed a tutorial that used it but the jukebox part didnt worked for me
Hey! I was wondering how would you go about spam controlling the door like if a button is pressed twice too quickly (or lever being switched too fast)? I've built the machine in an SMP and it works but the issue is when there's 2 people press a button from both sides with a little delay it breaks the door.
i bet you could add in a circut to disable the button for a short time after the door is activated. you could also ask in the discord server, you're much more likely to get help there! (the link to it is in the description)
