@@rabrun thx for ur interest, here's how it works: Each copper block placed has it's own "cell" that's connected to an observer facing the block and a dropper that's able to wax the corresponding block. The observer gives an input to the cell and tells it 1. when a block is placed in the slot and 2. when the block oxidizes. So depending on which of the 4 modes the cell is set to, it can wax the copper block directly after the it is placed or after 1, 2 or 3 detected oxidizations. So when all of the blocks are waxed (every cell remembers whether it has already waxed its corresponding block) the flying machines send the stripes to the top of the printer. Chest -> cell: The order in which items are taken from chests by hoppers is always the same (left->right, top->bottom) so if you want to set the mode of the top left cell, you simply take the first item the hopper takes from the chest and convert it from the item input (glass panes) to a signal using hopper sorters, with each hopper sorter using a different connection to the cells depending on which pane was put in the slot. Which connection was used decides the cells mode and well, that's how the chest->cell input works (: If you want me to further elaborate, you can either use the link in my videos description to download the world and take a look into the machine or you can simply ask (:

@@spacefun101 Here's an idea: Would difficulty settings be possible? If so, it would be cool to have two items per spot in "normal" difficulty, 3 per spot in "hard" etc etc...
@@ashish_45playz42 You don’t, you just have to figure it out. If you are playing with others it is just whoever gets it first wins. The machine actually has no idea which item is the matching one, and making a system so that it knows would be much more difficult and probably not worth it.
That shelf game is incredible. So satisfying to watch and a very creative idea. Also those post office contraptions were mighty similar to the one I shared on my channel about a year ago. I wonder if they saw it? 🤔
That was my inspiration actually :). I made a smaller (number of items-wise) version a few years ago shortly after that video was released, then eventually improved it until the (almost) complete version shown in the video.
in bedrock if you make a redstone torch run into itself it will turn off after a bit, but if you place/remove a block next to it it will activate again and turn off after a bit (its basically just a complicated observer)
15:52 maybe you could make multiple holes by using something like an interference pattern in physics works (I don't know redstone but I made a 2x2 piston door on bedrock once) Edit: You could use an or gate.
go to 2:29. Crafty opens a chest. It seems perfectly normal. But slow it down. Right after he closes the gui, you can see the chest block closed while the top closes.
12:30 actually, the Nether Reactor Core was never updated, it was due to a glitch that caused it to use the texture from the Plastic Texture Pack (which gave everything a much more simplified look) I don’t know how it happened, but they never bothered to fix it since it was removed soon anyway.
I've seen a few other people mention this, but, most of these redstone builds seem to be suspiciously similar to Mumbo's builds. It could just be a coincidence though.
As a redstone beginner, the only one I thought might be an issue was the basalt bridge builder. To me it seemed smaller and faster than Mumbo’s design. I do not remember him surprisedly repeating that he made it observerless. The only other two I clocked were useless and Rube Goldberg machines. He’s made a ton of the former so maybe it was copied - I doubt it considering how little Mumbo goes out of his way to compact builds. The latter didn’t seem remotely similar.
@@CraftyMasterman The basalt bridge, the useless machine, the post office, the bank are all really similar to designs mumbo has built years in the past. Almost 1 to 1 builds of them. But, like I said it could just be a coincidence or they simply took inspiration from him. And replying the way you did only makes you look bad.
