How to Setup FS-iA6B with iBUS - Wizard X220 - Flysky FS-i6X (SPracing F3 Flight Controller)

Want to connect your Flysky iA6B receiver (Rx) to your Wizard X220 using iBUS protocol! Well here ya go! (iBUS provides a faster communication between your receiver and your flight controller than PPM (though you won't notice it if your brand new to FPV), which is why you may have had people tell you to switch to iBUS).
STEPS:
1. Plug "servo" connector cable into Rx "ibus" servo port
2. Plug other end of cable into flight controller port
3. Set transmitter "Rx setup" to "ibus"
4. In betaflight; set UART3 to serial RX, save
5. CONFIGURATION: serial based receiver, ibus, save.
6.REMOVE PROPELLERS, connect battery, test function in RECEIVER tab.

Hey man how are you? Wanted to ask about a little issue, i did all the steps and am using the SPRACING F3 and your same Flysky controller, the only difference is that i am using cleanflight but used the same configuration as you and the software shows that the reciver and transmitter work but the motors wont move.. i only make them move by sliding the bars on the motors tab.
Also i saw that on the video your motors didnt move at the end.. so what step i am missing?

Yes, definitely. It might be a bit tricky to get all the solder off later though.

Can you still use the empty channels on the receiver when connecting this way? I want to add 2 forward thrust propeller's to a quadcopter so basically the quadcopter props are just to make it hover. It will pull forward like a plane with the forward facing props

Hi! Yes, the receiver must always be connected to the flight controller during flight.
Hello I need help.....I can't get the motors to spin after connecting the transmitter with the flight controller.....all the connections are done but can't seem to be working at all

iv done everythin in this tutorial exept the rx setup on the remote as the options are not there on my remote i am using flysky fs-i6 not the fsi6x any help would be good as im stuck now non of the controlls work

Is there a way to connect another receiver to the main receiver in a way to extend the number of channels available. for example connecting ia6b to another ia6b to get 12 channels?
That's a good question! I'm not sure, but that would be neat. I would think that might be possible with the ibus port.

I'm not super familiar with the X220 v3 flight controller of the top of my head, but yes, it should.
hii, so i did everything like you said on the video and it does actually works when the green thingy is plugged in the drone but when I unplug it from USB and the thingy and try to use the controller motors still don't spin, and for sureee i am missing some steps but I have not clue which one so if you could tell me (if you know ofc) what I am missing I would be so thankful :D

@@RCwithAdam1 (wow you are so quick at responding) and yeah, like is the thing you hooked up on the FC so yeah, It should be the receiver (sorry if I am not precise but I am super new at all of this) ow and btw I was searching around and I think I am missing the "rx" like a card that stay on the stack, for receiving the signal, unless it's the "green thingy"

@@RCwithAdam1 i updated my flysky fsi6x to a costum firmware for rssi, but it didn't work, so i downgraded it to the original firmware which i had first, but i bound it many times, but the drone doesn't react to any aux channels(switches, sticks), in the simulator its working, when i bind it, the receiver shows, that its bound, but the drone doesn't react, i set all aux switches correctly up
