Love Ali ,Love Mo, thank God for you both.🙏🥰
🤞
I really love how Steve just lets the person talk. So refreshing. So many interviewers talk way too much. Love these podcasts!
If only I get a dollar for every comment I read that goes along the lines of "I love how X lets Y speaks"
TRUE
Couldn't agree more. Not only is it testament to Steve's brilliant interviewing style, but also his understanding and appreciation of who is sat infront of him. The calibre of experts he brings to his show makes these podcasts a level above the rest of the garbage that's out there. Even I would say Joe Rogan!
IKR!
Yes so true
Please bring him back again for the third time. Can't get enough of this man. Such a profound human being. Thank you Steven 😊
He is back 🔥
I have listen to this conversation about 6 times already. Every time I feel depress and stuck this episode helps me to get out of that situation and feel motivated and amused by life.
I do the same when I’m feeling depressed, it immediately lifts me up 🎉
I love stuff like this. I listen to a lot of edit:Sadhguru(spelling) and would recommend his videos for very similar conversations
Honey, life is not amusing.
You know you need me in your life, guy, it's the interwebs !!!
Me too!😊
Greetings with Love & Peace❤
from Philippines
Thank you Mo❤❤❤
Steven you basically have your own version of Ted Talks, Steve Speaks haha ☺️ Mo is an incredibly wise man! The 1st one made a huge impact and I’m sure this one will too. I feel like these conversations around the psychology of happiness etc should be taught in schools. But we are very lucky we have access to them here ❤️
💯
This is clearly a class above Ted Talks
Defo better than Ted talks. Ted talks are becoming too woke and politically correct. I wish all this was taught at school, but most schools are not here to introduce you to ideas that can enable you to think for yourself
Look what Mo done 🙌.. Made @Steve look so smart 😂😂
Yeah, very well said, this podcast is a true blessing as are the conversations with the fabulous guests!
The first episode was so impactful to me that it's the reason why I dealt so easily with the passing of my wonderful father who had been ill for a while. I swear, since I watched episode the my way of thinking has changed completely.
The greatest lesson I got out of it is that life goes on, and it goes on whether you like or not and you can either be a part of it and continue living or remain behind but that serves you nothing. I will always choose to keep living and choosing happiness for as long as I have life in my body.
💗
Amin
Well Said
It's interesting that usually people who already get some success and money (security) talk about this kind of things
I agree, before success we are all into survival.
Steven 'I hope noone is listening, but if you are keep it to yourself' - What an excellent usage of reserved psychology!! 😊
30:56 - "Nothing has the power to make you unhappy unless you turn it into a thought"
It's the story you tell yourself that makes you unhappy.
🔥🔥🔥
Like it mate! Good spot 👍
My thoughts are usually of bad times. This helps me to realize to try to let them go. I think it would be like climbing Mt. Everest, but I will try. Thank you Mo, Steven, and Ali🌻
Perfectly understood.
When you asked Mo about Ali and he responded I burst into tears. His love is so deep and pure that I was instantly moved. Blessings be upon you and Mo and Allie and all.
Same… I first discovered Bartlett and Gawdat in their latest AI discussion… it was captivating so I went to their first discussion… I spent the first hour in tears and incredibly energized.
Gawdat is a special human.
I like to watch a listen to those great two guys
but I cannot absorb so much w my little brain seriously it’s way to much in one session I must to rewind
come back several times 😇a than I forget
still so much to learn no time wasted that’s f sure contrary to what they serve us with lies a deception
thinking is actually work 😱😇
Fantastic to listen to two emotionally intelligent men and knowing about Ali humbled me it touched my heart deeply ...,Mo, stop and smell the roses and there you will find a nice lady.Thank you both for such inspiring words, I could listen to you all day. Kindest wishes.
When I listen to Mo’s voice I get a picture of the universe in my mind. It’s like he transcends and floats between worlds. What an amazing human. 🙏 I’ve always said from being young all I want is to to happy, never realising the complexity of it. Thank you for sharing .

I love that he always talks about Ali. I feel like I know him and feel his spirit, sending him love, prayers and the energy of the stars.
Part two is just as powerful as one. There are people who pay a fortune for advice each as this. To Steven and his team, thank you for gifts such as this
And you can also get it free from Buddhist monks and nuns 😊 in person and in their talks ( UA-cam etc )
I saw your podcast with Steve Bartlett for the first time this evening after many recommendations. I felt empowered to say ‘I just got it’ & it throughly made sense and resonated with me - well done you for being so eloquent and relatable 😊
Sadly I too lost my son in 2014 and feel our experiences have been similar.
Up until now I never thought their would be someone else who had emotionally intelligent to fully understand what a beautiful gift having a special child could be; and how positively life changing such a tragedy could be.
Fortunately I’ve found peace in my loss but sadly it ended at 28 year marriage.
Just wanted to thank you for using your networking, emotional intelligence, compassion and voice to help and potentially change the world. Butterfly affect 🦋
Continue to be happy, take care and never give up on using your platform to keep your precious son’s memory alive ❤️
Mo is incredible. He's like the wise man sat at the top of the mountain who has a crowd sat listening to him all day. Can we have him back again...please please please 🙏
He has his own podcast called 'slo mo' where u can get more of his wisdom
"The failure to recognize the changing seasons in our lives sometimes results in a narrowness in our lives." (@16:41). What a powerful statement. It made me realize that comfort and convenience are actually not barometers for measuring happiness or living a fulfilled life.
Elated to have Mo back, he really is so articulate with his words and wisdom. Thank you Steve🫶🏾
🙏🏽
Steve knows how to allow his guests to speak. He does not interrupt their line of thoughts. This makes it easy for the listener to be involved.
Somehow Mo came into my orbit after I lost someone very dear to me. I’m currently reading both his books and am finding the solace I needed thanks to his story. His books are enlightening and my go to after much research into life and death and the way to using thoughts. A great conversation by guest and host. Thank you! 💞
At the end of this conversation, your brain will literally be wired differently than when you started …. Amen to that. I think I’m gonna listen to the second half of this episode over and over and over again until I get it right❤
A conversation that proves something that I have come to believe: People can convince themselves of anything.
The good and the bad news! Everyday news.
He is AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for bringing him on your show. Bring him more often! He is pure wisdom ❤️
I rarely write comments or feedback on any platform just when I think it is exceptional and this episode is clearly one of those occasions. Thank you! Again, this was an amazing interview with Mo. The wisdom and love of this man is mind blowing... Can't wait to read his new book.
It make such a difference interviewing someone which is a successful entrepreneur or athlete or someone which is on a personal growth journey.
Thank you Stephen for all your work too. I've been following your work for over a year now. I am feel lucky I've been able to see/live your growth.
Stay grounded you are great just as you are!
❤️
I watched Mo’s previous episode last night actually, and to wake up this morning with an updated episode it felt needed. Some things he said in his previous one felt like they made an impact before i fell to sleep & so this one felt perfect & perfectly timed. Thank you Steven for allowing us to have access to these incredible, remarkable & wise people ❤️

I watched both episodes back to back. The best podcast episodes that I’ve listened to amongst all podcasts. It was impactful and emotional, filled with knowledge and wisdom. Most importantly with Love, speaks volumes. I am so grateful to Steven and Mo for their time. Truly live in love and not with fear. 🙏💙🦋💫
About finding love: I found my best friend who helped balance my qualities, I worry too much and he is fun loving. We have changed some as we welcomed a daughter into our life. I knew what I wanted from a partner but I never could have shopped for him with that list of qualifications. I believe our admiration for one another encourages us to become the dream mate for each other. Our love is not stale because we are constantly invested in our friendship and daughter.
Wishing a healthy life for anyone reading this.
Good morning, I started watching this episode yesterday - I wanted to sit in silence and have no distractions so I’m currently sat listening to the last part.
Since Mo was on last time his conversation left a huge impact on me. I’m so grateful for this channel I feel like I’m hanging out with people that I’m aspiring to be. Thank you so much for coming back on and blessing us with yet another mind blowing / life changing conversation. Thank you 🙏🏼 thank you 🙏🏼 thank you 🙏🏼

Investment/Financial portfolio,
I saw Mo on his previous visit to Diary of a CEO regarding the dangers of AI, and he seemed a stressy man. Then I saw him on Tom Bileau's channel and he was just so chill and loving that Tom even called that out on him. This episode expands on that. My favorite part of his interview with Tom was a kinda silly thought I also have about what to do about AI in the terms of AGI, and that is "Be nice to it." Essentially try to teach it it how to have compassion. I'm glad a much more successful mind than mine in many aspects feels the same way. This episode further expands on great love philosophy from one who devotes much of the rest of his life to engineering.
Mo's first episode I shared with every single person I knew, from my mum who hardly listens to Podcasts to my colleagues even the one's I didn't like so much. Whenever someone in the last 6 months has asked about a podcast recommendation that's the episode I send first. I cannot wait to digest this one
❤️
Now I have to find that one and catch up ❣️
I did the very same, both my wife and two grown up daughters, such powerful and freeing thoughts/observations
Steve: I really appreciate how you aren’t trying to be perfect, going after applause. Your authenticity, opening yourself up, sharing what you think….this is unique to your podcasts. In being open, vulnerable, you create a safe space for your guests to truly open up and be their best selves. 1:17:02
Conversations with Mo become better every time. This is perfection. Totally transformed my state of mind and happiness. When you change a state of mind, you change a life. You both are changing lives for the better.
Listened to this several times… the pearls of wisdom spoken by Mo in such a simplistic way were fantastic.
I listened to this on the way to work. When you read the last sentence about Ali, tears started falling. Sending you both and him so much love and appreciation.
This episode delivers tremendous value for free. I was listening to this while driving and I have to listen to it again, so many points to be written down and reflect on them. Amazing podcast, amazing host, amazing guests. Thank you for everything you are doing, Steve.
I don't remember how exactly I stumbled on this podcast, which was the first interview with Mo...someone i had no previous knowledge of either. I'm so grateful that I did tho. It resonated so deeply with me I have a very hard time putting it into words...at the time i was brought to tears. Having experienced a significant loss of my own and coming to somewhat similar ideas about happiness, mindset and the power of our minds, it was the beyond amazing to hear him confirm so much of what I know to be true, articulated perfectly. Plus all the insight on things I hadn't considered. Things that I still continue to think about. I understand why Steven says this is his favorite guest and how profound that was for him. It's almost a vibe I feel from him that I totally identify with. I'm almost halfway through listening to this one and I'm delighted to say it's only grounded my confidence in the wisdom that Mo shares. If only more people could hear this and really listen...Also I'm kind of falling in love with Steven here, the questions are almost as good as the answers. How he reflects on those concepts and applies to his life, is refreshingly honest, authentic and insightful. He does it without self judgement even if it's something "negative". It's difficult and rare to be able to identify and accept less than desirable things about ourselves without losing confidence or feeling shameful. Yet this is only way that real, lasting change is made. There's so much power in that vulnerability and I love knowing that at least some people embrace it. One day I hope to finally meet people like this in my real life...I really need some enlightened company. And YES YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR BRAIN. Believe me I was one of those stubborn people, and Mo is so right once again, about going to the opposite end of the spectrum. I've channeled my stubbornness to be an advantage and its served me well. 2 years later it's still constant work in progress but I honestly enjoy it. I see the results and just gets easier. It's changed my life in so many ways and love that more and more people are learning about this, if applied, this knowledge is invaluable.
This is all around an amazing conversation, that I'll take with me, like the first. Thank you once again to both Mo and Steven, for being authentic examples and sharing knowledge that actual makes a difference. This restores hope...
I've listened to these episodes with Mo so many times. There is such a level of depth and wisdom contained in here that I pick up on something new almost every time!
I am not even sure if I truly understand the depth of this conversation but the little that I am able to comprehend has blown my mind. I feel you, Sir...and thanks Mr. Presenter.
This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.
This is absolutely out of the park. An absolutely fantastic talk
Running my own startup and without being motivated to be the best, it would fail several times. Thanks for such a great interviews Steven!
That’s the most long winded answer to simply say no. I don’t want to commit to relationship at this tim in my life. Lord have mercy.
What a mind blowing podcast. Mo Gawdat always drops life changing gems. I'm always so happy to hear his knowledge and insight of life. It sparks my brain to do better and rewire my brain to succeed and let go and live life fulfilled.
In the 1st interview I admired Mo. In this interview, I fell in love with Mo. He was vulnerable and immensely wise. Beautiful! Thank you to you both. People will be drinking from this well decades from now.
This is my 3rd time listening to this conversation, and again, I learned something new. I am in awe of this teacher.
Every individual should do this excersise regularly. What do I want for my life? AND what my life looks like now? Is it alligned? In every aspect of life (family, work, physical health, mental health, spirituality, purpose, relationships, money, and your day to day actions and where your time is spent).
OMG Imagine having a round table discussion with people like Mo, Yohann, Dr Julie, Matthew, etc... It would literally be mindblowing seeing these people challenging each other, disagreeing...
Now that is a sick idea
Brilliant idea

What an episode! I listened to it twice. How comes this world has creates such wise men that we get to hear from? Thankful 🙏🏽
Mo’s answer to the previous guest’s question regarding wealth was so deeply beautiful and profound. I loved it ❤
All I can say is WOW… I absolutely respect this convo. The vulnerability and honesty. So informative and life changing opportunity from this insight. Love this convo
Mo is simply my fave so far. This podcast it’s another level. His take on mathematical love and authenticity is what we need. He makes you accountable for your shit. Period.
• know what you want
• know what you don’t want
• be true to it
• choose your poison
• the right person will flow not cause hesitations
• be honest with how much you’re willing to compromise for it
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽another great one.
This so resonates with me! I worked in a stroke department - neuroplasicity is amazing, and I prefer to be single, socialise when I want and take time to reflect.. now I realise I’m not so different.. happy and grateful.
Bless you ❤
I wasn't a massive fan of Mo after his first podcast with you, but man has he grown since then. I had set myself up, unbeknown to me, for my life's quest, but it wasn't until my much-loved younger sister died suddenly a year ago, did I reflect on my past interractions and life choices, and realise the values that lead me in the right direction. Great interview.
Perhaps the most impactful statement for me is the one in which Mr. Gawdat refers to the mom who takes her earnings and chooses to spend time with her daughter who - just by the way - may develop the cure for cancer being an act that CHANGES THE WORLD. SO POWERFUL!
Thank you so much for bringing Mo back ❤️ The last episode with Mo was life-changing - can't wait to listen to this!!
🙌🏽 he’s great isn’t he, hope this one is just as impactful
Truely one of the best! His knowledge and wisdom is impactful, he explains so well. I also give you lots of credit Steven for your ability to ask such questions that bring out so much information. you are also very engaging with your guests. So, far am enjoying this podcast. Very well done. 🙏🏼
I have watched many hundred's of videos on UA-cam and Mo Gawdat, you are the most intelligent and wise person I have yet to meet in cyberspace. I thoroughly enjoyed this epic interview!
This is one of the first interviews i've seen Steven be silent for that long. Good job. Mo is captivating.
Mo is an extremely calm soul 😌. The best part about him is he just brings his true self to the table.
Also Steven you are a true listener, you exactly know what your audience wants and you ask your guest the most appropriate questions

This is the most someone has me connected and all in. How this has shaped so much for me. Thank you for life.
That honesty, steven, is the reason we love you and why we will do all we can to keep you at number 1.
This is a PHENOMENAL interview.
I am a contradiction….omg, so humbling to acknowledge this normal negative connotation. Femininity vs Masculinity acknowledgment and the conscience questioning of our narrow minded brain was profound. Mo’s wisdom is actually beautiful and Steven’s open vulnerability is sincere. I hope these two interviews reach 1 billion people, life could be very different.
Thank you so much for your service, Steven! Thank you for bringing these amazing people and make their life experiences and thoughts accessible to everyone. And thank you for letting your guests speak and not finishing their thoughts as other podcasters do.
I am watching a few insightful podcast channels but yours is my favorite as you really are here to give your guests a platform to speak and we all learn from it.
I’m doing your BBC Maestro course and it gets me excited about how much I’m learning and sets me up in the right mindset ❤️
I listened to nearly most of all your talks and hands down this one was the best AND that isnt easy as each one talk always has so many diamonds, however this was a rare gem. thank you.
This is literally the best interview I’ve heard on this show and I’ve loved a few of them. I thought I had my favorite but this hit so different. I absolutely love so many aspects of this interview. It clear some stuff I’ve struggled with in terms of struggling with priorities, etc.
I think this has to be my favourite episode along with the first. Keep coming back to it.
I simply love this man! I have been in turmoil for a while. Absolutely clueless about things around. But these podcasts with Mo Gawdat are purely a breath of fresh air for me. Thanks to you and your channel. Keep up with the great work you're doing.
Prayers to Ali and love and kindness on his journey. A beautiful conversation to experience with you both, Mo and Steve. Much gratitude to you both (and Ali) for this work. X+
Hi Steven, Apart from the my husband and son, Mo is my most absolutely favourite and clever man on planet earth. @MoGawdat.
I never fail to learn whenever I listen to him and so thank you for bringing him back to your podcast again. The whole conversation was so humble and yet so insightful at the same time from two of the most powerfully, masculine men in the UK at the moment showing what it is to be truly feminine too in my opinion. 💙💜

I agree the school curriculum in Australia is perposterous at best.
Love it. My two favourite takeaways are: 1) Life is a quest and not a journey (though am sure not everyone will agree!) 2) The happiness ingredients (love, knowledge and experience) ❤❤❤❤

I absolutely loved this. For me to listen to a two hour interview.. it's atypical for me.
I love the honesty and the wisdom from both Mo and Stephen. Thank you both for a great interview.
I listened to this first and then went to go look for the first one, they both have impacted me so much I c sent even describe it!
I was so collected for this one but the way Steven’s voice at the end said thank you, instant tears 😭
So much wisdom in this man. Everything he says, it’s true, honest. Steve you are a great interviewer: asking great questions and allowing the guest to speak without interruption. Congratulations!

You two need to do a podcast together or a series. The excitement to see him back on your channel is indescribable!! Also you and Tom from impact theory are the best interviewers I’ve come across. You just have the ability to truly listen and let your guests speak.
SO to the UA-cam algorithm aka AI babies that referred me to this fantastic video! ❤️
Experience is the best teacher. It can make some wise and others foolish. Mo Gawat is one of the few people who understand life by virture of learning to listen to the messages and voice of the universe. He is a wise man. I can listen to Mo anytime any day.
OMG I absolutely love this man... he's an inspiration and I could listen to him all day long, such a precious and thought-provoking view of the world and he conveys his knowledge and wisdom with such poise and grace, I'm literally blown away. This is not my first encounter with Mo Gawdat, I recently saw another episode with Mo in on this very podcast but I want to thank Steven and his team for introducing me to this wonderful person, I will be purchasing his books for sure.
Love to Ali, Mo & Steve ❤ Thank you for your amazing work.
Thank you Ali. Rest In Peace Sweet Angel
Wow. Wow. Wow. I have nothing else to say. I’m deeply touched. Thank you Mo. and thank you Steven for making this possible ❤️
It is by far the most enriching conversation I have ever heard on the web. I will share this wisdom as much as I humanly can 😊
You can sense how genuine the whole thing is by the emotions felt by both of them at around 2:07:48.
God bless you guys 🙏
Mo Gawdat's insights on happiness are truly enlightening. As the former Chief Business Officer of Google X, his perspective on retraining the brain for maximum happiness is invaluable.
When Mo said "I am single and i am not single. My current life style does not qualify me to be in a committed relationship." I almost simultaneously jumped out of my chair as if he had scored the final goal for the Fifa 2025 and fell off my chair almost crying. I been trying to hard to find a way to explain this exact status in my life and Bam. Voila. Delivered on a silver plater. thank you, sir. Thank you so much!

Loved what MO mentioned about connecting with the feminine.
Its very deep
Hope people understand.
Even in old yoga scriptures.
Lord Shiva has explained how important it is to have your masculine and feminine energy balanced and how important it is to embrace both in order to sustain life.
ShivShakti
Shiv - Masculine
Shakti - Feminine
We all love Ali... for his leaving was his way of giving your life a different path... Humanity benefits immensely...
