Respect for the tutorial mate. I'm sure all riders (or riders to be) will appreciate this. Thank you.
No problem 👍
I always come back to your channel to make sure your still alive. Stay safe revvy! Love youuuu :)
Appreciate that RobVin, the plan is to not die, yet 🤣
hope you ok bro =) cant wait to ride with you once this corona settles and i can visit the UK :D
Would be awesome to go for a ride man! :) not doing too bad mate hope you're keeping well!
Good video done my cbt and thinking of doing mod 1 helpful watching this very clear
Reevy out here showing us the ropes 💪🏿
You know it! 💯
Mate, this is perfect timing I’m starting my A2 training on the 4th cheers mate
Let me know if you pass, I forgot to mention U-Turns in this video so practice them too and you should be good :)
Reevy I will do mate
Bro, i dont care if its raining man. I want to see all ur vids man❤️
Legend!
Cheers for the tutorial
NEW SUBSCRIBER! Loving the videos and debating getting an MT-07 too, just wondered what GO-PRO and setup you are using as I’d like to create some videos for memories sake!
Check out my GoPro setup video, you can see my entire setup and how I put it together there :) thank you for the support Dan!
Very good mate
First video without any wheelies xD jk Reevy you're the man! ❤️
😂😂😂 thank you bro!
Ty planning on doing my mod 1 soon
Ayyy good luck mate!
Thanks man got my mod 1 and 2 in 5 days this really clears things up.
Same Mod 1 on Monday Mod 2 Friday, good luck..
Good luck man!
@@ReevyMotovlogs Thanks, well I passed Mod 1 today got Mod 2 tomorrow it's been moved from Friday..
@@ReevyMotovlogs Only gone and done it! 2 minors. Pick bike up Saturday. Cant wait now. Still lots of learning to do.
@@Exmilkman Ayyyy let's go!! I think I got 2 minors on my mod 2, or 1 I can't remember, but then again it was something stupid like a really narrow road with a car blocking my lane and barely and room to move over so he said it wasn't a huge problem. Glad you passed man!
Nice one reevy 😎 got training this Friday for 6 hours 👍👍
Good luck mate, let me know how you do :)
Reevy will do cheers 👌👍
Went all good 👍👍 got a 10 week wait to book my mod 1 test 🙄
Bit of a late upload 😳 don't worry, I'm all good just the weather has been crap and I haven't been riding a lot the past week or so, expect some entertaining videos as soon as the weather brightens up 😁
Update: So I knew I'd forget something, it was the U-Turn.
If you can do a figure of 8 you should be alright on the U-Turn, just do a shoulder check before pulling away, then as you're about to do the U-Turn do another shoulder check and continue to look where you want to and you should be all good.
Great audio, what you using for recording?
Great video however i must point out, before you manual handle the bike do your checks. Shoulder too shoulder and i would advise wheeling the bike from the left space too the right one as its more natural and you’re not pushing away from you
Only problem with that is usually in your real test you will be starting the opposite way, doing it the way I did in the video lines you up ready for the next part of the test, some examiners will also tell you this but tbh it’s whatever you’re comfortable with and either way works ;)
Something you forgot to mention but when I did my mod 1 tests (a2+a) you were marked down for putting right foot down as they want to see you have control over the rear brake and all that nonsense... Saw some cheeky right footers there 😉😂
Really? I always put my right foot down including in the test and they never said anything
@@ReevyMotovlogs bananas intit. Same with both feet down
Down to examiners discretion at the end of the day 👍
I VE GOT £100,000 Saved I’m thinking of buying a KTM Duke 390 is it worth it
Corona made my theory expire week before lockdown was up (headache) went and done my cbt last week waiting for a theory test space
All the direct access courses are now fully booked!! Just did my theory and now it looks like I won't be riding this summer
@@kayk9891 where you local to it got a reservation with my place for a 4 day course terms to me passing my theory
@@MrJnr786 Brighton but I would definitely travel further
@@kayk9891 try local to Blackburn or Preston some places also offer residential courses
Passed just yesterday...😂😊
GREAT VIDEO.Ive got my mod 1 on Thursday.
can i just point out though that before you do the wheeling it around from space to space at the start, you should also look around you?
They don't really mind tbh but in a real world situation I'd assume most people have enough common sense to look before wheeling their bike.
It's like pulling out of a junction, if you just pull out without looking both ways you probably shouldn't be on a bike to begin with.
Not saying you're like that but just an example lol
Good luck mate, fingers crossed you pass no issues!
@@ReevyMotovlogs thanks.ill let you know. it really wasnt a critisism my friend as i appreciate you making these videos. it was just for people like me who are about to take there test to be aware of.
ride safe my friend ;-)
@@darrenstarkey4512 I know bud but if it was like super important I would've mentioned it, the main thing they really care about is shoulder checks before moving away each time and speed.
@@ReevyMotovlogs yes.of course. i think the main factor for people is nerves tbh, even though its easy.
Hi again. I took my mod 1 today and it was a perfect pass.👍 I do believe that watching this video as well as others has certainly helped me through it,so thank you for taking the time and effort to make this 👍👍🎫🏍
Hello mate, would it be possible to post a video on using your own bike for mod 1 and 2? And the best way around it as its not cheap to go back to a school using there bike few hours training your talking close to a grand 😀
No worries if not
Cheers 🍻
A grand? 😳 I only paid £300 when I did my test and used their bike. I’m not really sure how it works with using your own bike since you need to ride there on a bigger bike that’s restricted, derestrict it at the test centre and be insured on it.
@ReevyMotovlogs yeah that's what I thought and that is reasonable especially using their bike.. but I guess with my own bike to save changing things back I'd pay the hire cost of there bike, gave you a follow on insta bro 🐾
i fucked up on the emergency stop - for some reason i decided to downshift while braking - the examiner was pissed and failed me straight away.
Damn unlucky man :(
Got my mod 1 in a week xD …… really nervous 😬
Is it easy ??
Hehehehe notifications gang
Ayy my guy!
Do they allow maxi scooters to pass?? I mean they are practical for stop start traffic and going on long adventures, the safety aspect is higher you can react quicker on a scooter.
As long as it’s a 125 yeah :)
1:10 I think that might be because manufacturers are allowed to make speedos up to 10% inaccurate, so they always set them like that to make it seem like the bike is faster. 34 on the speedo could've been roughly 30-31 in reality :(
Yeah that sucks :(
Thanks for this information! It is what I've been looking for..
Just, 00:39 you said "this will be the hardest test you do" - but then proceed to say it's quite easy (paraphrasing) when trying to show examples of what you did in the MOD1.
Is it because it's actually NOT as hard as a lot of people probably worry it is? As long as you're competent and don't get too nervous, maybe?
Not a complaint about your video, btw, but I'm trying to gauge my plan of attack on getting my A license.
Cheers!
Yes, out of all the test I’d say it’s the hardest part however it is fairly simple if you have enough practice and confidence you should pass it no problem :)
Appreciate the kind words.
@@ReevyMotovlogs thanks for replying.
great, what I'd hope you would say! Thanks
Thanks for sharing. I have a question im taking my mod 1 in couple of weeks but unfortunately my speedometer stop working, my question is do they check it if its working before the test,? Thanks
They don't but I'd suggest using one of their bikes or getting it fixed as you'll have to go a certain speed in some parts of the test.
@@ReevyMotovlogs I have to pay extra I guess using theirs right? Also not sure if the test centre im going to take have one. Anyway thank you very much for your advice.
I failed a mock mod 1 yesterday currently doing training ive test next week
Good luck bro :)
Cheers mate mod 1 tomoz modning and mod 2 on monday cant wait ive custom built zx9r sitting here looking at me and i cant go out on it lol
@@rsvmille7910 sounds like me, got my 07 a month before I could even ride it 😂
Passed mod 1 yesterday with no minors ive mod 2 monday at 8.45
Passed mod2 yesterday now have a full licence 😁
Do u have a A2 licence or an A license also what bikes can u ride with an a2 licence am thinking about getting an a2 licence could u ride a gsx s750 2017 model on a A2 licence
GSX-S750 have an A2 friendly model that you should be able to get :)
What about the U turn within 7 or is it 7.5 meters?
7.5 meters and damn I knew I’d forget something 🙈
Is there a big difference between throttle control from 125 to 400CC?
As long as you got that clutch control down it will still feel really easy but since it has more power you'll definitely notice it pulls a lot quicker compared to a 125 however I went from a 125 and did my test on a 500 and found it to be very easy to control.
Reevy it might matter on bike specific too tbf. I test road my mates 390duke, at first it really struggled cos it has so much torque lol. But over time it got easy. I was just curious if you found it easy to do A2 on their bike as it was your first time (different weight, more power..)
Passed MOD2 even though I ran a yellow😂
Can confirm it's a piece of piss compared to MOD1
Yeah definitely, MOD2 is super easy, I think MOD1 just makes everyone more nervous because one simple mistake could end with a fail
Do you buy the bike before or after the test
Whenever you like :)
@@ReevyMotovlogs sweet good man
Me who has a 3rd test booked
👁️👄👁️
50 really is that mph or kph

@@ReevyMotovlogs wow
U turn ????
Yes? You have to do one in your test.
@@ReevyMotovlogs I didn’t see it in the video!!
I will look again !
The u turn at times gets me a bit nervous, I know you look at the finish point but sometimes I turn too sharp
U turn?
Knew I'd forget something 🤣
@@ReevyMotovlogs I only noticed because that's what I failed on 😂
@@101steel4 aww damn unlucky man, have you passed since?
@@ReevyMotovlogs no, failed mod 2 on Friday 🙁 had my z650 delivered today too which makes it worse.
@@ReevyMotovlogs passed mod1 a week later then mod 2 was cancelled due to covid.
