I remember my Mod 1, what a nightmare! I had a hail storm whilst doing it, my emergency stop resulted in a slide due to the hail on the ground and my hazard avoidance was terrifying. The guy was understanding and passed me. Your Mod 1 looked perfect to me, well done.

But how is that any more ridiculous than you passing and then watching you ride home? You understand there is a mod 2 right? And you can’t do mod 2 before mod 1? So regardless of whether you pass or fail, you’re still a provisional rider when you leave the test centre 🥴
@@darrenrees3284On an A2 licence you can have a bike that meets full A test requirements. So they could fail you and say you’re not road worthy, then watch you ride the bike home legally.

Great video got my re test today, did all the manoeuvers, too much throttle on the hazard avoidance, missed parking in the cones my manual handling was so hard the bike was too heavy
I had my mod 1 last week with the same examiner, passed with 4 minors, 2 of them were while moving into position for the U turn, went too fast and no lifesaver as I moved off, mod 2 tomorrow 20/11/24
Mate you did well understanding his accent. I am from the UK and he is speaking so fast, and such a strong accent I can't even understand some things he says!
Took me 7 attempts. I just let nerves get the better of me. I could have probably cracked it on 3rd attempt but I just hated being in there when the gates closed.
What a shame that all the hurdles have to be adhered to to pass your test - I was fortunate to be able to learn on a 250cc and take verbal instructions on the 1 test and then ride anything you liked.
@@hoodedr6 I did my A2 on my own 125, on my test there was gravel and locked up the rear, let the rear go and reapplied to stop in time. Thought I'd failed but they passed me as "I recognised it immediately and corrected very well" Still chuffed and have had an 800, 1200 cc no issues
Quite similar to the Dutch AVB exams, but the Dutch exam seems slightly more difficult. Figure of 8 is done within a square, which means yours would've been much too wide. That evasion at 8:45 wasn't half as wide as on the Dutch exam. Other than that, pretty nice to see how similar our exams are :)
I noticed that you reversed out the space then rode into the training ground. I take it you do not need to ride straight on to it? My instructor was adamant that I was to ride in?
i think he’s doing his modules to go from the a2 restricted to the full A license but if ur going from a 125 to a 500 you don’t do it on your own bike they give a higher cc

Failed this today Acused of not using front brake on the emergency break when I did, I assume, it wasn't a clean one, but the examiner acused me of not using the front break at all, I'm literally in my bed now, sick, my head is killing me, it put me down so hard that I believe I'm going given up on the driving license...
@@alexandrpershin If your international licence is valid, why would you need to do tests for a UK licence? Presumably you would not have been allowed on the road until you had completed Mod1 & Mod2 - otherwise, why would they ask you to do the tests? Haha
@@mark0365 I was interested to get UK driving license, because my international license is valid for one year in UK from the moment I arrived. Which means after 1 year I wouldn't be allowed to ride motorcycle in UK with international driving license. That's why I applied for UK driving license while I had right to ride the bike with international driving license(while 1 year hasn't passed).
@@marcussparcus3590 Hey mate, sorry for late reply. There will be "tell me show me part", reading the number plate from 20m and then riding in the city/national roads, there are many videos in youtube about mod 2, the top tip - ride safely!

@@alexandrpershin I don't think you can. You would have only have had a provisional licence up to 125, unless this was a mod 1 for a 125. For a more powerful bike you need to be accompanied by an instructor and insured through them. I have seen people turn up here with no L plates then put them on for their tests. You took a chance but I wouldn't recommend it
@@inconvenientfacts6452 it's very possible he's on an A2 restricted license and upgrading to a full A unrestricted. He's required to put the Ls on for the test but he's free to ride home without them on an A2. It's an old 650 so it'll be within the restriction

I don’t understand how he was able to ride his bike to and from the test? Surely he would need to pass mod 1 and mod 2 to do that. Since he’s doing a mod 1, I’m assuming the bike is more than 125cc
At the time of doing mod 1, I already had the driving license issued by another country. That gives you a right to ride/drive vehicle in UK for 1 year.
I’ve used my quad lock on a Grom, R6, HD street 750 and just fitted it to my new fireblade. They’re a little more expensive than some of the other phone mounts on the market but I cannot recommend them highly enough.

how long did each module last you? was it literlly just the 15 mins in the car park and done?
Mod 1 about 10-15 minutes
Mod 2 about 45-60 minutes
