This whiskey was a slow burner. I left the studio, feeling nice and tipsy. By the time I got home, I was HAMMERED!
Gotta love the whiskey 🥃
You were absolutely charming in this video
I didn’t now that professor Severus Snape was Irish 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sorry bad joke
That's how you know it's good. 😉
Yeah, I could see that coming.
Your facial symmetry is staggering.
I nearly flipped the table and walked out when Callyann joked about me liking whiskey
A suggested response was posted above! But yeah, the epitome of a stupid question
I saw the vitriol in your eyes.
Glad you kept your cool.
Lol :D
“Joked”.. how fun was this though!
"After drinking this i feel like i can learn indian in a day" 😂
Bad luck indian is not a language😂
That's why you need to be drunk to learn it.
If you feel that warm fuzzy feeling, you’re halfway there to being indian already.
Hahaha
Thank you my sender , ill take it from here..
We've go 1500 languages out here mate. Which one would you like to start with hahahahahahahaha
In India, alcohol cannot be couriered without a license. Amrut wasn't available in my City. So a friend of mine from Bangalore had it sent through a hand transfer of truck drivers.
I am so glad he did! 😍
What a good friend
@@sierrahhofzon3878 Even better truck drivers!
@@ShirazHansen yeah
W friend
The truckies must've respected your choice
I’m after rewatching this video, and have only just noticed how slurred my speech becomes at the end. Clearly, I was v drunk 😅🥃
And yet, still more charming than most of the people I know.
Yes , and a very Beautiful drunk at that .❤
Well now we just need to have you and Ciara paired up for a whiskey shoot.
Now you just need to teach Dónal to drink
Rock ON girlfriend!!!!
*"So he doesn't?"*
The look of GENUINE DISGUST from Martin was just gold.
I thought Sean was about to record a death.
I would not want to try anything made in India. Seriously.
@@marttiinnanen4911 That's a silly thing to say. Indians constitute a full 1/7th of the human population, and their food is amazing to boot. Don't be a jerk.
He looked like he was going kill Callyann, lol.
@@marttiinnanen4911 that's a whole lot of herbs, spices, and teas then. Chances are you already do quite frequently. And enjoy it.
So as an Indian, I just want to point out that the whiskeys you guys just tried would probably not be the whiskeys that an overwhelming majority of Indian whiskey drinkers would have access to. Amrut and Paul John cost like 5k-6k INR per bottle. That is WAY too expensive for most people. Most Indians would drink something like Bagpipers, Blender's Pride, Royal Stag or some such brand. Construction workers who stand outside liquor stores and down 180 ml of the stuff every night after work drink something called Director's Special which is like a step above drinking gasoline😂.
Lmao
so true
I don't know.
Are you sure, absolutely sure, that it's a step above gasoline?
Why would anyone drink bad whiskey if they can afford it? This was to showcase a good brand.
Guys ,Amrut is a top class whiskey on par with Macallans and glens.I know it's not accessible in India . I started using it after moving to the West. Everyone loves it
If Irish folks appreciate your whisky, your product is in smooth waters
Whisky aside, I really like the pairing of people in this video, they all have such compatible energies, kudos to all invovled
I was going to say this. You beat me to it. Lol.
@@joshuafranco1570 delightful isn't it?
That’s so fucking true
Martin is one of the smoothest cool cats I've ever seen
The coolest of cats

Them: these are some Indian whiskeys
*Me, an India who has been drinking IB and DSP since I was 18: the fk are these? 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 samee
These are for people who want an Indian whiskey but can't stomach the real shit.
@@sandrosadhukhan I'm an Indian and I didn't even knew these existed.
@@anoshpaul9918 are you serious?
Are you guys even for real?? You have never heard of Amrut and you drink whiskey? You probably are still in college. Any whiskey consumer would know that Bangalore's main attraction is Amrut when it comes to drinks. It's not sold in everyday liquor shop because it is that rare. But now-a-days you can order it online. Amrut is india's finest.
Oh man..!! Irish people are the best...!! their sense of humor is incredible...!! love from India..
Nice bro

I would like to highlight that Eman thought I was John this entire video. True story.
😂😂😂 I believe it
I love callbacks to previous episodes. The script on this channel is so well developed :D

Fact:
'Amrut' and 'Immortal" are distant cognate.
Amrut literally mean non dead, but over time has changed meaning to elixir or potion that boons one with eternal life
Amrut means guava right?
@@user-tf7wn9qt8l that is Amrud...ending with 'da'/'द'...also the 'u' in guava sounds 'u' while in this case 'r & u' combines to sound 'ra'.......😫downfalls of using latin script for indian language....
No it doesn't - the word Amrut comes from the Sanskrit Amrit and is used to refer to the liquid/drink that can cure all wounds and diseases, bring the dead back to life, and offers immortality, everlasting health and youth to those who drink it. It emerged from the churning of the ocean and was given to the Deva's by Vishnu, the Protector of the Universe 😀
One may compare 'Amrut < sanskrit word Amrit (अमृत)' with Ambrosia.
Martin and Callyann are great !! We need more of this team !!
Martin:"We just had _four_ 10-out-of-10's. I don't say that in every whisky video."
No....sometimes it's _five_ 10-out-of-10's, sometimes it's _six_ .....
Thanks I came to post the same thing...
So technically what you are saying is 9 out of 10 times it's 10 out of 10.
@@charlierosenbusch3007 Ah, you are going for the low end of estimating Martin's whiskey scores.
@@johngammon7891 me too.
Except the advent calendar video where it was 24 10 out of 10’s
I hate to say this, but Martin's opinion is the only one I trust.
But every whiskey he tries is a 10 out of 10. Even the the one he said was a "good effort."
@@chichibangbang3667 you haven’t learned Martin’s different degrees of 10s yet I see. Amateur
@@chichibangbang3667 Any whiskey is a 10. The way he SAYS its a 10, is the real scale.
His rating system for rum might indicate it could be a 10 out of 10, 3-star whiskey?
He was the only one who seemed to know about whisky
The series "Irish people try..." must be a brilliant ruse by the Irish Foreign Ministry. Who doesn't like Irish people after seeing a few of these? Damn they are charming. I'm going to go to Ireland on vacation when the global pandemic is over.
Why do they say Irish people and then show a black guy lmao. Show us the real white irish folks drinking this, not converted oxtail curry people!
Amrut is continually rated one of the best Whiskeys in the world. Me and my friends love Amrut.
Dónal is completely gone by the third whiskey lol!
Donal has some serious explaining to do. He wasted perfectly good whiskey. Now that is a very serious crime
PARTY FOUL! I can't remember any other shoot that someone threw out alcohol...
I think Donal was wankered before they had even tried the first one !
“Learn Indian” “I think it’s going to be spicy” why am I not surprised 😃
Only moran are say that...never juggling book by his cover..
Cm'on bro every people have their stereotypes about other gotta accept it or cope over it
I bet it was fun growing up in the Sharpson's home! Great personalities.
Amrut fusion is my favourite, i honestly thought it's bit hard to drink when you start but has go on it's easy .
This was a great one! Converted whiskey lover!
“Neck it , neck it ..... neck it 😂
Martin will do that to people.
You’re truly Irish now Callyann!!
Keep expermenting. There is still a lot of whiskey to try. Im drinking a laphroaig cairdeas right now.
You kept a straight face so well at the bitter end there when Martin said "I might shit myself."
I think the Martin and Callyann is a great pairing. She's like all giddy over the different whiskies and he's laid back cool dude and they played off each other so well
Why do they say Irish people and then show a black guy lmao. Show us the real white irish folks drinking this, not converted oxtail curry people!
love these videos!!!
I love the fusion. The percentage doesn’t scare me, but I freaking love the flavour
Donal threw whisky away. Donal threw whisky away. DONAL THREW WHISKY AWAY!!! OMG
Minus OG points for that. Many.
Sacrilege.
Next week we learn Donal was kicked out of Ireland
@@mikeconner3684 By Martin!
John, come and get your brother!
Nicole and Graìnne is like the most relaxing pairing you could ever have. They both have such a calming presence
And they boost each other up when they need a little reassurance.
I really loved the way they expressed
.... Love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
As an Indian I am absolutely the biggest fan of Jameson Irish Whiskey.. have named my dog Jameson too
“I feel like if you drink THIS you could learn Indian in a day”
-Donal
And also forget "Indian" in a day after drinking it.
@raghav agrawal Yep, that's one of the official languages, but there are over 1000 languages and dialects spoke there!
The funny thing is that, when Indians drink Irish or Scotch (whiskey) they feel like they have mastered the English language. 😂
@@bro_golu That’s so funny to me 😂😂😂😂

I can hear Dermot crying not being in another whiskey video

Man I missed watching you guys, it’s been so long, like I think the last video I remember was before I graduated highschool in 2019
It seems that Martin and Callyann appreciate the Indian Whiskys most. I love Indian Whiskys too, especially Paul John Nirvana, Paul John Bold, Amrut Raj Igala and Amrut Indian Single Malt. Some of them you have to try a couple of times to appreciate them. And i am excited to test Indri Trini and Kamet Indian Single Malt.
You should definitely try Indri 🖤🖤
@@rhutikkadam9683 I already bought Indri, but didn't open it yet. When time will come and other bottles will be empty, then i will open Indri Trini

I am an atheist and I would join his religion lol
martin should be pictured on whiskey bottles describing the tastes.
He got the taste description spot on!
I have never touch alcohol in my life but I really enjoyed your video you guys energy was great
Amrut fusion is probably my favorite whiskey of all time. This was a good video
Callyann should seriously consider becoming a comedy actress. She has fantastic timing and doesn’t miss a beat with her responses. When Martin was talking about offering his blood as whiskey instead of wine, without hesitation, totally deadpan, “ohmygosh, you’re so generous, yes.” 😂😂😂
Why do they say Irish people and then show a black guy lmao. Show us the real white irish folks drinking this, not converted oxtail curry people!
Martin: "That is top tier"
Emman: "Tastes like medicine"
Me: "They could very well both be right"
Nice!!! That was interesting whiskey. I've never been a big whiskey drinker. Just cheap vodka lol. Thanks again for the awesome video. 🔥
What you fine people have missed is a gem named Solan No.1. What it lacks in superficial refinement it more than makes up for with a rich, smooth and almost oakey kick to the unmentionables. Great vid all the same, love that y’all - well most of you - loved Amrut. 😄
Callyann (and Seán?) to Martin: "Do you like whiskey?" Perhaps the craziest question in the history of the Try Channel 😋
Lol yeah that's Seán
I feel like that's in the same vein as asking Dermot if he hates peanut butter.
When Martin doesn't rate every drink 10/10 the world has truly come to an end
There is an Amrut Madiera finish also in a nice red box and bottle
the two dudes right there, are total vibe!😂😂
Fact: Indians are the highest whiskey consumers in the world
Am (as a Indian) more into Jameson and Jack's, have heard of Amrut, but never tried it, this makes me want to. Great video guys 👍

Callyann's so enthusiastic and supportive, even through the very end of the closing slate..."OK"
Such a fun and well crafted episode - thanks!

That first whisky if for Indian military.
Our soldiers work is some -40 C temperature.
That warmth gives extra boast
1:07 Callyann is trying to read up on the whiskey and Martin could care less. "Finish up please this needs to get IN ME."
Nicole just keeps getting more adorable.
Lovely, as an Indian living in the US since 92 (before amrut was invented and I didn't drink back then anyway) you have given me the 2nd thing I need to try when I visit next. What's the first - yea Old monk, or Feny, or kallu (made with date palm).
Amrut Fusion is the best of the lot. Its my regular for some time now. Really smooth.
Did a quick price check, and in Southern California the Amrut goes from $50.00 to $80.00. That is not cheap whiskey.
Buy the single malt single grain one, it's cheaper but it's the best.
And the guy just threw it out. Shame.
Callyann's enthusiasm is contagious. Pairing her with Martin was a fantastic idea.
Martin and CallyAnn . . HILARIOUS!
Lol loved that green top girl. Looks at the bottle cover - her reaction “ ohhho my gawddd what is this magical indian bottle hooo my gwadd i like overexaggerating things ho my gwaad” any ways love the video.
“My face is doing Olympic gymnastics “ hahahahahaha :D 😄😃😀 best description of a whiskey EVER hahahahahaha :D 😄😃😀
I love all the reactors, but I'm always a little disappointed when Ciara and Leather-Jacket Guy aren't in the Whisky/alcohol videos.
They should be in every one.

Martin needs to release a whiskey called 10/10 , has to happen
Who doesn't love Martin's vibes no matter the drink he stays chill 😉
Hello from Goa.. The place of birth of Paul Distilleries… should have tried their regular one.. It’s a big seller in the country..Big love to Ireland…

It's always fun when Donal appreciates his counterpart on these videos. His personality blooms in a certain way.
Martin & Callyann are so fun to watch together , thank you .
"Hey, look at me, I'm Ciara" *winks* ..Haha, that was gold.

I love Amrut, it’s really smooth for me
Martin is so cool. Especially when he drinks whiskey.
Why do I imagine the New Year's party is crazy for the try channel. All of the alcohol they've had on screen throughout the year come out. That's if the bottle's make it to the New Year.
They did that one year, it was hilarious
My husband buys me scotch for our anniversaries but last year he got me the Paul John because he knows I like peaty whiskeys. After watching this I want the Amrut Fusion, which looks to be available at the store he's bought the others.
I realy respect this elegent man always well dresses unlike many people.,rare to see this these days
Martin literally says 10 out of 10 in every whiskey video. Lol
