I honestly hate licorice, but you are the one inspiration I have that would make me seriously try absinthe.
You have to make a "Slow and Painful Death" now that Martin suggested it. I'm imagining some mixture of Sloe gin, Absinthe, and I guess whatever the exact opposite of Southern Comfort is? I'd suggest a "Southern Discomfort," but that's an Eyehategod song and not a drink.

Callyann's energy is amazing and terrifying...she's is the perfect partner for Ciara. Ciara will say lets drink something nearly deadly and then do something wild and dangerous...and Callyann will say the biggest yes and jump right in.
I've been an adventurous drinker with a high tolerance for 30 years but I feel like an evening with them and I'd end up dead.

Sazerac is made with Rye does not contain lemon juice, any additional water, or ice and should contain peychauds bitters, ask Ciara she has some at home.
It was originally made with Absinthe until Absinthe was outlawed in the US. After that they made Sazerac with Rye.
@@danddoty3981 actually it was made with cognac, Sazerac de forge et Fil brand which is being relaunched by the Sazerac company. The absinthe or pastis (anise liquor) was always used as a rinse for the glass. The history is listed in the attached website. www.liquor.com/recipes/the-original-sazerac/

I cannot stand the taste of licorice, but I'm willing to forego that to try varieties of Absinthe. Maybe in cocktail versions I could tolerate the taste better? Thanks for this fun video! Slàinte! ~Be Blessed
The absinthe types I’ve bought were more herbal flavored, but not licorice if I recall correctly, which is likely at this point. Try the French and Swiss absinthes. You might err towards tasting like mouthwash -toothpaste- though. I always think I’ll never buy more, but the bottle is so lovely and I think I could make something tasty.
