We love a good trip to another country around the world to test out their various types of alcohol. Having tried a selection of Indian Whisky before, we managed to get our hands on a selection of other Indian alcohol, and simply had to sit our resident Irish People down to see what they thought!

@@zytzefSure. As the video progressed though, I realised those two guys (at least the one in the sleeveless tshirt) didn't belong here. He literally said, "I don't like anything", and they both were quick to judge before even trying.

old monk is mainly drunk by college students, its cheap and strong, it holds a special nostalgic place in my heart
And mostly drank during winter tbh and high altitude places like mine it's great for us😂

I know we get some drinkers on this show, but coming on with a legit hangover, not enjoyable for anyone.
How was the colour of the gin so different between the try'ers? One looked like piss and the others got a clear liquid.

i like the cheapest Old Monk, it tastes almost artificially coffee, chcoolata nd stuff. At least that was my first impression, my first time i could exaggerate and also it was in Himalayas, altitude could change taste too

No No, they are just inexperienced clearly. They dont know their drinks, or dont have much experience drinking fine whisky, probably drank out of box wine or Box whisky. Amrut is a world class whisky with several awards to its credit and they didnt understand how smooth it is.

the magical thing about old monk is that not only does it taste like christmas it also won't give you a hangover as bad as most other rums. btw. it's best had with thums up (Indian soft drink) imo

In winter, Old Monk is the preferred rum among Indians. It’s not just about nostalgia; many would choose it even over JW Blue Label. Simply put, Indians have a strong loyalty to ‘Old Monk.
