I recommend skatedeluxe in America And in Europe Skatepro. They both have their own skateboard creator where you can build your board from scratch. And if you want information about trucks, wheels, bearing, hardware or decks i would recommend watching a ton of UA-cam videos and reading a lot of websites. I also just bought my first skateboard during corona times and i can reccomend you my setup if you want.
      Decks, Girl, 8.25, Girl Kennedy 3D OG Skateboard - € 59,95
      Trucks, Independent, 149, Independent Polished Silver Stage 11 - € 34,95 P/P
      Wielen, Spitfire, 54mm, Spitfire Formula Four Tablets Wheels Natural 101D 54mm - € 54,95
      Hardware, Thunder, 7/8 inch, Thunder Phillips Hardware 7/8 Inch - € 4,95
Lagers, Bones Bearings, Bones Reds Bearings - € 22,50
in total around 210 because trucks don’t come together where i am from
      I got my griptape free.
Also i heard from friends that you could buy the same setup in America for 100. If you need more help just answer and i will try my best.

I just got my first board for $10 at a yard sale last week. Bad trucks but board is good. Brand is Almost. Person didn't use it much but left it out in the snow so the trucks rusted and squeak and the dodos are shot but I have to learn to ride in 3 months because my mom said I couldn't bring my bike to college but I could bring a board.

Hey Aaron. I wanted to let you know that I just ordered my first skateboard. Ordered it from Revive. Having watched you guys, (you, Lance, Carlos, Fetty, Gabe, Doug, et al) for around two years, I'm inspired to, at the very least, own a skateboard.
I'm 58 years old and have always loved skateboarding (well watching it anyway). Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen and the rest. I'm officially putting on my bucket list to do an ollie. I'd die a happy man.
Love you guys. Best of everything to you all.

DekuShredz I was just skating today trying some curb stuff on a pretty dead street with no traffic. A woman told me there was a park for that. I ignored her until she commented on how I was kicking my board up into my hand. She said “don’t be so lazy and pick it up”. I rolled over to her and asked her why she is being such a bully. Skaters are disrespectful because we are discriminated against at every turn. I pay taxes so shut your mouth. Lol

Most people/pros skate from 8.0 - 8.5. I wouldn't go any smaller than 8.0, it will feel plenty narrow & light and flip very fast & easy. Most usual deck sizes for street skating are 8.0, 8.25 & 8.5. Also for beginners I always suggest slightly bigger & softer wheels (54-56mm, 80-90a), so riding your skateboard in the streets actually makes fun and doesn't become torture with every crack or pebble.

Love your videos! I've been surfing for 5 years now and am looking to get back on a skateboard. It's been close to 10 years since I have been on a regular deck. "I still longboard" your videos have been a huge motivator for me because you make skating fun. Being older now at 26 I don't feel the pressure to impress like when I diched skating in highschool. Just wanted to say thanks and love the videos.

Thanks so much for the insight! This really helped, and I’ve only ever ridden a Ripstik, so regular skateboarding is pretty new to me. I have a couple questions: Would you recommend painting the skateboard as opposed to buying a graphic (if we do paint it, should we varnish it)? Also, how far down/apart should we position the trucks?

As someone who really wants to get into skating, I loved the video. However, I think it would've been a lot better if while talking about each piece of the board, you also talked about the things that each piece does. Like bearings and how to tell bad bearings apart from good bearings, what the difference in tight and loose trucks are and how to alter the tightness, hard or soft wheels and the difference between those. The width description of the board was nice though. Keep making great videos!

Well guys, I just turned 35 last week. was a fan of skateboarding earlier due to the THPS games, but never got a board for myself. After almost two decades I stumbled over your videos on YT and it reignated my interest. So I bought my first board and took it out for the first time today. It's a crappy one from China, I wanted to try it and see if I like it, but I have to say i'm about to order a proper one. The first night tryout was sooo much fun! I was just rolling down the cycling bridge over the railway in our town, had my first fall, first chinner and all of that. And it was a fun workout as well ;) So thank you for your videos, hope I'll stick with it and have a nice one ;)

    Hi,
First let me say that I truly enjoy the videos u guys do. Thanks u so much for properly educating those of us wanting to learn. So here is my story, I am 39 yrs old and was once pretty passionate about skating. A looooong time ago. But I lost about 20 yrs of life due to a bad choice I made long ago. See around the same time I found skating to be my true love, I also made the stupid choice to try Drugs. Well I was not able to walk away , and before I knew what I had done I found myself in a HORRIBLE, daily HELL of drug addiction. See, I lost all hope and dreams of anything I once loved, all my life consisted of was feeding my addiction for a lil more than 20 yrs. Loosing touch with my true self, my loved ones, and ANYTHING I held dear to my heart.
Well here we are a few decades later, and I am FINNALY a sober man!!
How ever I am having trouble finding those things that I loved, those things that made me whole. I have purchased a cheap board from Wal-Mart, but I just CAN NOT find myself
With this soars. I am wondering if u guys had an old boats set up just maybe laying around that, u would consider donating to a man's journey, and walk through a happier more self worth life.
If not I totally understand, at least I had the chance to tell u Thank u and please keep up the positive work u do!!!
    Thanks again,
    Sam Bodden
