I'd say that you should make a deal with your parents :)
I don't really know how grading system works in your country but if it comes down to the final grade talk to your parents and make a deal like the shop does , if u are having financial problems talk to them before the year starts so they would have time to save money !

    1. Saying that the nose can be identified by realizing it's bigger than the other end (the tail), and that the orientation of the graphic can usually differentiate the nose and tail too.
    2. Talking about why someone would prefer one truck height over another.

if you’re looking for advice for a first board setup read this
for a beginner i’d recommend a MiniLogo or a shop brand deck at first to get the feel for skating. i skate a 8.0 with a size 10 shoe. (bigger feet usually means bigger board any shoe size under 8.5 i’d recommend a 7.75-7.5 deck). for trucks id go with Independant, Thunder, or ACE. (these trucks seem to have the best turning while still being durable). for wheels i’d recommend Spitfire formula 4’s (52-54mm) or Bones STF’s. for Bearings some Bones Redz is a timeless option and cheap. For grip i’d go with MOB or Grizzly

Good, informative video. Rode a ton back in the ‘70’s and last year got myself a WowGo 2S, which I use to commute back and forth to work. I figure it would be a good idea to get a regular skateboard so I can brush up on my skills after 40 years, so I will soon be putting together my first ever DIY board. Very much looking forward to it!
