    Thanks Adam. I do prefer this exercise to TRX Flys - definitely feel it more in the chest muscles compared to the Flys.

      Pleasure, that's great to hear. I'm very similar, these are my go to for all presses as I find connecting with the chest muscle much better.

    Just buy a pair of still rings… They’re much more versatile. They are also are what TRX clearly ripped off just to market and get into every gym possible 👍🏻👍🏻

    Thanks pal

    Thank you for your videos. I’m wondering why we can’t just use the handle vs the bottom strap part?

    • @fitnessfreedomathletes
      @fitnessfreedomathletes  Рік тому +1

      Whichever way allows you to connect with your muscle better through the range of motion is the best way for you. I personally find I get a better range of motion holding the straps

    Hi Adam and thank you for your videos. Is it better to fit the anchor on the wall or ceiling?

    • @fitnessfreedomathletes
      @fitnessfreedomathletes  2 роки тому

      Either is fine to be honest. Most of the time in the UK you can only fit it to a wall as this is where the wooden studs are easily accessible. So long as it's safe and you have some room, you're good to go. It’s the effective muscle-centric technique combined with mindful muscle connection when using it that’s the key, which is what I teach in my Programs - trxtraveller.com/trx-programs/

    Excellent video mate. I have a question, when I do this exercise i feel my shoulders a lot and barely feel my chest. Is this because my shoulders are weaker or is something off with my form?

    • @Mr.Feanor
      @Mr.Feanor 7 місяців тому +1

      It's the form...check the video again, try to push down,squeeze your chest.

    • @fitnessfreedomathletes
      @fitnessfreedomathletes  7 місяців тому +1

      First comment nails it, sounds like you're pushing forward a bit too much, push down and bring your elbows together.

      Thanks hope it was useful. Tiny room in the flat. Had to get it as far away as possible to record vids. Joys of london flat space

    Please Help me. I can't feel my chest enough doing this. I feel it a bit and then it fades to front delt or triceps burning. What am I doing wrong...?

    • @fitnessfreedomathletes
      @fitnessfreedomathletes  Рік тому +1

      Try this: instead of focusing on pushing forwards, try focusing on pushing downwards and away from your body. It's the elbows that we bring together at the top to squeeze, not the hands.

  • @tvince6

    Is this a horizontal or vertical movement?

    • @fitnessfreedomathletes
      @fitnessfreedomathletes  2 роки тому

      Can't say I think about that. I just focus on the mind-muscle connection ;)

    why not just use the handles? why the loops?

    • @fitnessfreedomathletes
      @fitnessfreedomathletes  Рік тому

      I find I can get a bigger range of motion. Just personal preference though. If the handles work better for you, go for it!

    That's just a standing push up, not a dip.
