Looks delicious 😋
Thank you!! 😊
i cook steak in micro oven😊. Seriously. Its fantastic
Interesting!
Nice video, just few questions.
1, Whats the temperature of the stove? Medium? Medium high? High>
2, Once you heat up the pan to a certain temperature do you turn down the stove or leave as it is.
3, 1:14, in the video you said add butter for remaining two minutes, are you referring to the additional 2 minutes or the last two minutes within the six minutes?
Thank you 😊
1. Medium high but make sure you use a cast-iron skillet!
2. I’ll leave it as it is.
3. Add the butter in the last 2 minutes within the 6 minutes.
I hope that answers your questions? ☺️
@@TastyBitesMike Will try sometime later, thank you!
I love steak!!! I love garlic!!! I love butter!!! Thank you for comprising a video with all three!!! Looks delicious!!!!
You can’t beat them! Thank you 😊
@@TastyBitesMike👌 👍 😊
@@coryburns9161 thank you! Any suggestions for the next video?
@@TastyBitesMike yeah how about some tri tip show how you do it 😉
@@coryburns9161 Yum, roast beef!
Just made the same with seitan, even better MAN
Beautiful!
New subscriber here😊
Thank you for subbing! ☺️
You make me hungry.
Sorry 😬
Nice video, can you do a fillet mignon next?
Thanks ☺️ of course!
The algorithm fed me this steak video after I commented about eating a Wooly Mammoth.
Haha is that a good or bad thing?!
nice video
Thanks James!
You must turn it down at the end for the butter not to burn?
You constantly baste on a medium high heat (tilting the skillet) for the juices to really absorb the steak, enhancing the flavour ☺️
This video deserves a lot of likes 👍 I also try to make interesting videos ❤️
Nice! Thank you 😊
Yup I’ll take that with a beer and I’m good 🙂
Haha sounds great! 😊
How long do you sear the fat cap?
Only a minute or so!
Супер
❤❤❤
I hope the video helped! ☺️
What kind of cooking oil are you using? I’ve used avocado oil and my kitchen keeps filling up with smoke… not sure what I’m doing wrong
Hi, avocado oil has a high smoke point, i’d use olive oil 😊
@@TastyBitesMike olive oil won’t create more smoke? Also I heard olive oil at high temp for long time is not good, any truth?
Can you clear something up? Near enough everyone peppers there steak before cooking but pepper can burn so I've herd it's always best to put pepper on the steak after cooking not before, I cant seem to do this though I love seasoning my steak before 😅
Hi, I personally like the taste! I don’t really find it burns, but 100% its personal preference 😊
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!!
I did not cook my steak even close to how good he cooked his. I’m pretty sure my man card needs to be revoked…..back to the boys department I go.
Let’s figure out where it went wrong so it’s perfect next time! Maybe watch my most recent video, a lot better quality and easier steps 😊
Which cut is this steak?
Its a sirloin/new york strip type cut ☺️
I like my food hot. Doesn’t testing a steak make the food cold?
You only rest for a couple of minutes, it’ll be hot still 🙂
hi , What kind of steak is that ?
Hi, sirloin ☺️
Нет у нас розмарина... Можно использовать сушёный ???
You can use thyme if not!
@@TastyBitesMike увы и тимьяна свежего нет . Все приправы только сушеные в магазине!(((((
If the heat was very high, 6 minutes are too much for this result. But it looks good.
Best regards.
All depends on the thickness of steak! Thank you! 😊
Nice job on the steak but, charcoal grill is the best.
I do love a steak on a charcoal grill!
🥩😋❤️👍🏻🇬🇧
Thank you David!! 🙂
Prefer deep well done
Cook until a temperature of 165F/74C or approx 10 minutes 🙂
why salt 2 times?
Can’t have enough salt! Enhances the flavour 😛

Is it a ribeye steak?
Sirloin, I can do a ribeye next?
every other steak video i have ever seen says put in pan and leave it alone...flip it once
Personal preference really! I weren’t happy with the first sear and wanted the grill lines ☺️
@@TastyBitesMike just curious cause I can’t make a steak to save my life. I have ruined so many I gave up lol
@@sethterwilliger9434 what do you struggle with the most? Is it cooking it to the right doneness?
@@TastyBitesMike it’s always over cooked and dosent have much flavor
@@sethterwilliger9434 Season well, and baste in unsalted butter! Also, buy a meat thermometer then you can’t go wrong. Bear in mind, the steak will continue cooking when resting. Usually goes up by another 5f or so. In my most recent videos description i have added an internal temperature guide for doneness ☺️
Is this beef ? Thanks.
It is indeed
A
Looks good but I can't eat nothing with🧂
Thank you!
you dried it with the towel then flipped it back on the part of the board that was wet from the other side
There will always be some moisture left in the steak anyway!
@@TastyBitesMike yeah but what was the point of patting it dry if you just flip it back on the wet part.
I've been cooking steaks for over six decades, and hands down, the best way to get _your perfect_ steak is in an air fryer with a wireless probe.
Personal preference!
He messed up the diamond
Only on the underside! 😮 I knew I would’ve anyway as I had to sear the fat!
Cuando le pones manteca a un buen chuletón; es que no has comido una buena carne en tu vida.
Butter enhances the flavour!!
The perfect steak is cooked the way YOU want it no matter if you send it back 10 times with the instructions to butterfly it and burn it
For sure! it’s always going to be personal preference, however it’s perfect to me 😊
This guy wipes the top of the steak dry,,then flips it over on the wet spot, to dry the other side ? On that whole cutting board,he couldnt find a dry spot ?
lol good observation
🫣🤫
Dang. Too bad I do t eat bee no more.
That is a shame!
@TastyBitesMike it sux. But I just can't digest it anymore. I have a minor anbilocal hernia and food that sits in my stomach too long irritates it. I just eat ground turky or chicken for that reason.
Thyme gives a better flavor
Personal preference however I’ll use thyme next!
That’s a lot of salt
Never enough!!
Did you eat it?
Or is it like everything else everyone does.for views on UA-cam
Believe me, I definitely ate it!
God-damned Rights, because it looks so good
@@cyrilwingnek-qw1ik Can’t beat a steak!
The steak has enough fat in it without adding butter. Try grilling it.
I’ll grill next time! But I do love basting it in butter ha
So what? Fat is good and healthy
Do not use his time suggestions unless you like your steak medium or medium -well done. 1 min 30 sec per side is too long. 1 minute to 1-10 max! Ruined a prime cut ribeye using his 1 min 30 sec time. Or tell us what heat setting you are using.
Sorry your steak wasn’t cooked to your liking! My timings are for a medium 12oz steak, on a medium-high heat. I do state it all in the description and to use a cooking thermometer if required.
Te vas a enfermar si comes carne cruda !!!! 😂
@@joseeduardoromanmendez2346 I’m alive so far! 😂
nao eh perfeito vc eh juvenil
Nearly perfect!?
yes@@TastyBitesMike
The black rubber gloves are really creepy. And what’s with the constant kneading and rubbing of the meat?
Treat it with care!
Its not juice look like blood😮😮
Maybe a little! 😀
You wouldn’t eat chicken if it was still pink in the middle after cooking it.
But steak I would!
Tell me exactly why wearing gloves is more hygienic
When did I say it was??
Should be less cooked...for me!
Rare? Or even blue! 😀
@@TastyBitesMike Blue if still served warm which is not always found!
@@jeanbarret.80 I could only go as far as rare!
You lost it when you added salt and pepper before frying. That is done after everything else is done. Also, vegetable oil is essentially water, so that you really cook it instead of frying. Use cooking fat. And please-please turn it over only once, as soon as juice seeps up. That will be a good steak.
I’m sorry, but I totally disagree Alex! However, you do what works best for you 😊
@@TastyBitesMike Please look up Bistecca alla fiorentina for an ideal recipe.
@@alexandersupalov7340 It is a yummy piece of steak! You also usually season it with salt, black pepper and olive oil prior to cooking 😊
@@TastyBitesMike The original recipe specifically mentions unseasoned meat, and that for a good reason: any seasoning pulls water out of meat, and that is detrimental to the process of cooking and then final taste. Just give it a try. You'll probably never go back. :) By the way, they add only pepper afterwards: meat naturally contains just the right amount of salt.
To much blood it just poured
Yum!
@@TastyBitesMike 🤢
Go Cook Oh!
You have enough know to do something and have it be tasty. Sigh..
Yum
Isn’t it raw??
No where near! Ha
not even close
Your turn!
Tripping he did well
@@frankcortez954 thank you!
Too much butter.
Enhances the taste!!
Anything that has so much juice is uncooked… only Europeans put up with this uncooked food😏
My wife has it well done and she’s British!
1. rest to room temp? did u checked how much it gained during that time? bet it was not room temp - its unnecessary, no restaurant does that, its imposible to know when customer will came etc. and its make no difference 2. grill pan is bad too, it will get bitter on this strips, no one wants that, just use plain pan. 3. dont cook on time, every meat is different, use cooking thermometer with probe and cook to desired temp and flip every 30s to cook evenly
Leaving to rest with salt ensures a more even cook. Correct, restaurants don’t have time to do that, however us home cooks do ☺️ what pan is a personal preference! A cooking thermometer is handy if needed, I just go by the feel however the timings is recommended for 12oz thick steak ☺️
@TastyBitesMike But your video doesn't say all that. You rested first and season later its not all the same. Sesoning long time before have special name for it. Ok you are right pan may be a preference. But if someone looking for a guide, goes to store and pick up random steak with different size or part type then it's not good to stick to time cook. Cooking thermometer cost couple of bucks. Steak will be not with desirable degree of doneness. We don't want anyone to be discouraged if they don't succeed.
@@cptshooter I can edit the description to be more specific if needs be (advising to use cooking thermometer if required)
Why is this guy Talking about Restaurants, just go and bite the next cow u see than u have fastfood. Just Watch the video…
Shut up man.
If you don't know how to cook steak things are bad.
Not easy for everyone!
Looks like a thick piece of leather.never should butter or oil during grilling,it will make the meat very tough
I can assure you it was very tender!
Too much faults : this is not the perfect steak.
Can’t please everyone my friend!
Bad cook u
Thanks! ☺️
Count me out, I can’t stand the music.
I can’t stand your mother oh well
