@milew81 That's so true, so many bands have covered Walk and it never sounds the same...even the "Pantera" on tour right now with Zakk sounds different.
This is from Locobazooka 2004 (9-26-04) at Fitchburg Municipal Airport, MA. I was there in the pit. The band signed my Damageplan CD, not knowing Dime would be dead in a couple months. I told him I had "Zackleys" from sweating all day in the sun, but I was stoned as hell and don't think he heard me. He had sunglasses on and just looked at me confused, but perhaps he was stoned too, LOL. I had a Lamb of God-As the Palaces Burn shirt on, Pat and Bobzilla were really nice, cool dudes and liked my shirt. Had about 3 chances to see Pantera (Ozzfest 2000, w/Slayer/Static-X, w/Soulfly/Morbid Angel) when I was in high school and missed out, luckily got to at least see Vinnie & Dime. WAAF (107.3fm, Boston) hosted Locobazooka every year, there was 5 stages w/50+ bands if I remember correctly, and that's DJs Mistress Carrie & Mike Hsu on stage with them.
Wow... hearing Phil sing this song live, he at times struggles with the vocals even early on, but Pat sings this song with absolute control and finesses. Sick!!
Only dime can make walk sound like WALK! No matter how many others cover it, it will never sound like it does when dime plays it!

the voice of anselmo is just 1000 x better
While I agree completely. Pat does do a decent job. Different, but aggressive none the less. Remember those are huge shoes to fill vocally.
Sheeeeesh
Your descriptions wrong try 03 or early 04
True
Locobazooka, Sept. 26, 2004, Fitchburg Municipal Airport-Fitchburg MA.
Last lokobazooka ever
Wow it’s like pantera but with a talented bass player 😂
Those added notes sound like ass. Rex and his bass pick is the only guy.
Brother, this guy has nothing on Rex
Uhh...no disrespect to Bob Villa, but he can't touch Rex.
😆 Zilla is no where near Rex's level
They shoulda just went on with this dude and did pantera lol.
Good luck with that. Phil was the main songwriters along with Dimebag and the main song arranger for the whole band.
Description says 06??
