Just wanted to let everyone know that this video still gets played in 2022 🤘 all these years later its just as heavy and heartfelt as it always was, love you brother dime, forever stronger than all 💪🤘
That had to be loud as hell in there. Dime was and still is my guitar hero. I respect Phil's medical issue(s), but I've got ten times the respect for Dime getting a new band together, and starting all over. That took balls of steel, a lot of heart and a genuine Love of music imo. Rest with Respect in Peace.
shredfactor7 Me too. One of their videos shows them playing Domination in Russia. That gets me going every time. I read an interview with Dime where he said some of the riffs on Way Beyond Driven were written so he could move around easier on stage. That's dedication to live performance LoL. He was one of a kind.
All i can say is dime seen the one legged man and showed him what kind of a man he really was because that man has memories that no man can take from him because they hooked him up and he got to be on stage with the band and dime knew what he did ever so little but yet such a big thing for him !
I still can't believe, that this happened 13 fucking years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was there with my two best friends, our seat tickets got upgraded to floor cause wires got crossed in the purchase process. I was three rows from the front, and didn't know what to expect. It still hurts knowing that Dime is gone, but I'm unbelievably greatfull that I got to see this band, and two great artists that night, that I would now, not be able to see again. I respected Dime for getting me started at playing guitar, and Vin for getting me interested in attempting drums. I still get choked up whenever I hear Dime's name, and that, I don't think will ever change. I love you guys and hope you get all the Jack Daniels you can handle up there.
Man they had so much more to give us on top of what they had already given, not sure time will heal this one, but Dime and Vinnie would want us all to live and kick some serious ass 150%!!! Love you all! Stay as strong as their music!!! Best band to BlesS us from TexaS!
I was there also. i can still remember seeing the amputated dude running across the waiting line. that was my very first concert and it was probably the best day of my life and also the saddest. Dimebag,we miss you. Getcha pull!!
Wow!.....i forgot i could see my drunk ass hobble around on youtube, thks for keeping it goin everyone, R.I.P to the boys, never gonna be another crew like that! Great down to earth boys just haveing the time of there lives🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
A class guy for sure. In New Orleans at House of Blues on Halloween before he left us. I gave him a Alaska Stae Troopers K9 Unit tshirt that said You Can Run But You Cannot Hide. He was gonna sign it and I said thats for you. Hesiad cool people usually want my shit. We jumped on the bus had a Blacktooth grin and smoke and did Bourbon Street with Vinnie Paul. With all the people he met he could have forgot I was there (I'm 56 now but still have grey hair) but he always got me involved in shit.
This was my very first concert. I'll never forget that night, ever. I still got the shirt I bought at that show and haven't worn it since. This video brings me chills and tears just to know how pumped I was to see this again.
One of my only and biggest regrets is that I missed this show knowing that it was my only chance to ever see Dime play and possibly meet him. Almost 10 years already and still a very tough pill to swallow.. R.I.P DBD
Just shows how awesome of a person Dime was! Let's one legged dude from audience sit on stage while they play and even play guitar solo to him! Nice guy for sure! Total shame he is gone. RIP Dimebag
si lo entiendo y muy estupido decir que es solo estudio ve sus lives siempre a cantado bien en su estilo por algo esta considerado como uno de los mejores vocalistas de metal
This is my first concert ever, Damageplan and Slayer! What an insane crowd! The security barrier broke a couple of times untill Tom Araya had to scream : BACK THE FUCK UP! Good times
That was hilarious and awesome!! Damn I miss Dimebag. I didn't really get into their music til late and by the time I became a big fan, it was too late. R.I.P Dimebag
@KatfaceSmith They splitted up since Dime was killed... Bob Zilla and Vinnie Paul formed Hellyeah with Chad Grey, Tom Maxwell and Greg Triblet Patrick Lateman is now Halford's rhythm guitar and started 2 other projects
I never thought I would envy a one and a half legged guy, but damn, Dime played the solo to him. I'm starting to think this stupid half leg is holding me back.
After an interview with a reporter, Vinnie had said 'off the record off the camera' to a reporter that dimebag needed to be severly beaten. That started some of it, and then they needed him to sing, but he said he couldn't because of his back problems, but he was singing for super joint ritual, and then that pissed dimebag off because he basically was the band. It just escalated from there.
I think its cool they took that kid up on stage.. he looked like he loved it !! and dime played the solo practicly to him lol see him puttin down the crutches and jumping lol awesome
Similar thing happened to me. They came through NYC with ShadowsFall, money was tight so I didn't go see em. I never saw Pantera either and have been kicking myself ever since.
Pat does great on vocals for this song live. better than phil's usual live performance, i have to say. and that one dude is so lucky. i'm sure he'll never forget that night.
I wish I'd gotten into Pantera sooner. I was just getting into them and got to see Damageplan 3 weeks before Dime was killed. Awsome video BTW, they played Walk when I saw them too and it was insane.
Dimebag played Randall amps his whole life up until about a month before he died when Randall dropped him and he went to KRANK. Only 1 guitarist always...the man Dimebag.
Wow, Dimes almost been dead 20 yrs and it seems like yesterday I heard the news. Very sad day, and Vinne he tried to keep it going but his partner in crime was gone and he left to soon also. 😥
this show's just how who mutch more there is to metal than headbanging! dimebag! true ledgend and icon with a big eart and totally insane guitar playing!
I was talking about the Albert County family reunion that was at the hill for ACDC. And for the record, it's a confederate flag...the union jack is flown by the brits.
Dime and Vinnie were basically Pantera so it doesnt matter who sings, I mean it does not sound the same but Dime and Vinnie made and created fucking Pantera, so as long as Vinnie around and we remember and honor Dime and what he has done to us fans and how we connected with him with each and every pluck of those fucking strings on that fucking Razor back, Pantera will forever live and bealive threw us, Dim R.I.P and Vinnie.
Even Despite the low grade sound of the vid, this version sounds EVERY BIT AS GOOD or better, than when I saw pantera in Sydney Australia.Totally Genuine Vibe, this must have been a GREAT gig.
I cant believe I missed this! I mean i was only 12 but I saw ozzy when i was 10 and Zackk Wylde gave me a sweet Migrane,I only wish that I would have known they came to my home province So Dime Could have gave me one As Well! RIP Dime!
@Toca91 Oh yeeeaaah!!! I totally agree with you!! There would surely be a Pantera reunion someday!!! It would be an epic day!!! R.I.P. Dimebag!!! only the best die young =(
Just wanted to let everyone know that this video still gets played in 2022 🤘 all these years later its just as heavy and heartfelt as it always was, love you brother dime, forever stronger than all 💪🤘

I was at this show and it was an amazing show! RIP Dime. forever remembered
Same here. Front row. Was amazing!!!!
Dime was definately the coolest person I've ever had the chance to hang with. Did so on a dozen occasions. Everything you hear about the man is true.
That had to be loud as hell in there. Dime was and still is my guitar hero.
I respect Phil's medical issue(s), but I've got ten times the respect for Dime getting a new band together, and starting all over. That took balls of steel, a lot of heart and a genuine Love of music imo. Rest with Respect in Peace.

shredfactor7
Me too. One of their videos shows them playing Domination in Russia. That gets me going every time. I read an interview with Dime where he said some of the riffs on Way Beyond Driven were written so he could move around easier on stage. That's dedication to live performance LoL. +MyworstEnemy DIMEBAG 4EVR
they bring a guy who can barely walk and they play a song....WALK xD
All i can say is dime seen the one legged man and showed him what kind of a man he really was because that man has memories that no man can take from him because they hooked him up and he got to be on stage with the band and dime knew what he did ever so little but yet such a big thing for him !
And tore it up with my favorite guitar🤘🤘
We met that guy in line before the show. It's cool seein this 4 years later.
I actually liked the Damageplan album, I think the singer is actually really good.
I still can't believe, that this happened 13 fucking years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. My Dad and I were front row. Still get goosebumps today

The infamous Dave Bulmer!!! Pretty cool you got experience this. Sucks they're not with us anymore.
Dime ALWAYS had a fucking smile on his face when he was playing it was always a big goofy smile too C:
Whos here in 2019?
Patrick Lachman is the only person I have ever heard sing this song besides Anselmo and kick its ass. This band had endless possibilities
Still remember this like it was yesterday... Who woulld have thought that a few months later...
The music world would change forever
R.I.P. Dimebag!
and Dime you never turned your back on us. Rest up, you were an awesome dude.
I was there...it was every bit as goosebump inducing as the vid would suggest. I still get shivers when I watch it
....and this is 1 of about 950 reasons why Dime is the greatest ever
Look at those shoes man LARGER THAN LIFE!!!!
Metal Perfection!!!!
DIME 4 LIFE!!!!
not bad, but Phils Voice is untouchable!
Phil who? You can't be talking about Anselmo, unless you hadn't heard Pantera live anytime in the late 90's... dude was all studio
Mike Hummonyu what. walk come back home boy
Wardo Melena I don't understand the comment.. are you trying to be mean?
si lo entiendo y muy estupido decir que es solo estudio ve sus lives siempre a cantado bien en su estilo por algo esta considerado como uno de los mejores vocalistas de metal
Phil was untouchable in the 90s
This is my first concert ever, Damageplan and Slayer! What an insane crowd! The security barrier broke a couple of times untill Tom Araya had to scream : BACK THE FUCK UP! Good times

metal is the best...long live rock and roll
After an interview with a reporter, Vinnie had said 'off the record off the camera' to a reporter that dimebag needed to be severly beaten.
