First thing , the camera operator done a great job nice big stone on her finger so you did a nice job but also it’s nice to see someone using proper ratchet, than all these electric gadgets great job👍👍👍👍👍
I had my whole motor taken apart and just stood like that for two to three months because i was having an overheating problem. Got that fixed hopefully its not there anymore i never drove it yet just a small test drive everthing seems fine for now however it does sound like its misfiring so now im here for that reason
With the engine running pull off the plug wires one at a time. Isolate which cylinder doesn't change the rpms. Go to auto zone. Rent a compression tester. Take the plugs out. Check the compression on all the cylinders. Are you able to do that? I could do a video on it if you need help.
Have you checked your radiator fluid level. Also, the radiator cap is in such a tight spot it is difficult to make sure it is on correctly. That's what I found on mine.
i got an 07 base misfire cyl 1 runs great until warm and in idle.. sputtering only in idle but drives great. had a million things changed. they said i need a new engine. should i get a second opinion
That sounds like a fuel injector is clogged. Buy some fuel injector cleaner. Put that in your gas tank. That should clean a sluggish fuel injector. Walmart. Red bottle. Name brand "Heat".
I did video that, but chose to do a recap on the procedure. Cylinder 2, when I unplugged the wire, did not change the rpms of the engine. The others, when unplugged, almost killed the motor.
@@roscoesrepairs hey i did all you said after it still missed fired howver i played around with it for a bit and missfire dissapeared thanks again the video helped me alot man
Sounds like you might have had a clogged fuel injector or water in your gas. Was this misfire a P0300. That is a random (can't pin point cylinder) misfire. P0301 Says Cylinder 1 is the problem P0302 Cylinder 2 and so on.
Awesome video, love your approach and honesty regarding dropping parts down into the engine bay!

Most of the time. This is why you have a misfire on the base models. So now I keep them in stock ❤
Thanks buddy some shop lied and told me burnt valve quickly fixed the mini in 20 min
That's why I do all my own work. People are dishonest.
Like and subscribe. Thanks

@@roscoesrepairs yes please i would very much like to see how that works if its okay with you

@User 0001 you would like to see the compression test? Or the procedure of unplugging the plug wires affecting the rpms? Or both?

What is the cylinder order layout in this engine ?
1-3-4-2
1-3-4-2 is the firing order. 1 is by the front right tire 4 is by the radiator cap.
You forgot to bleed the system?
You dint start the car i wanted to see you start it before and after but if alls okay great job

That video will be at the end of the compression test video. "Engine running" test
We're you able to do a compression test?
