Maybe heat that boot up a bit with a heat gun (while on the impact) then throw it in the freezer? Might shrink it back down on the gun... just spit ballin here my friend! Just found your channel and binged a few vids👍
How has your impact held up, I warrantied my first one within 4 months cuz it had grinding in the planetary gears, it still worked but sounded bad. I'm waiting for the 3/4 too and hope it has large single stage planetary gears instead of the smaller 2 stage ones in the 961. I love my MCM401, it's the best on the market

how do you like that dewalt dcf961? i currently have the snap on 9075 i like it but its definitely lost a step since i first started using it
Couldn't you just order a new nose cone and swap the 1/2" anvil back in?
