    Very well done, Great video.
Was I the only one screaming it's a turtle when no name popped up?
    Awesome naming all the fish.
    Thanks

Ya this is definitely one of our favorite snorkel spots on Maui! We're thinking about starting a playlist called ZoeyCam with all our adorable videos of her ❤️

Aloha!! What camera are you filming with here? The colors you’ve picked up are better than a lot of other videos I’ve watched. Mahalo!

Aloha! We used a GoPro HERO8 for all of footage here. I also add a little coloring grading to some of the footage using imovie. I've been really happy with the camera. Here's a link if you're interested amzn.to/3MMEEBU

Hello ! awesome video . It looked like you were wearing some underwater ear plugs . If so I am wondering what brand you use and what model! Thanks and have a good one.

Thanks! I was using an earplug. I ruptured an eardrum a while back and the earplug helped keep water out while it was healing. I used Mack's Silicone Earplugs. They worked pretty good for me. You can get some at the following link (or even at Walmart/similar stores) - amzn.to/30kejZm

@@murphytravelsofficial wow thank you for the response. I have been a dj for 20 plus years and my ears drums are sensitive to water so I havent been snorkling in years. I am looking for some earplugs to keep my inner ear dry so I will give these a try! Thanks for the quick response and your videos are awesome!

My family is going June, would it generally be flat most days? Also, as far as the turtles go, how close can you get? If u don’t see one and accidentally get too close will you get in trouble? I’m not planning on touching them obviously😂

The water is flat most days in the summer so June is a good time to go! There is still an occasional swell so just check the surf report a week in advance (and again the day before) and see what days are predicted to be flat. You can Google "surf report at Honolua Bay." We like to use the MagicSeaweed website.
I believe you are supposed to stay 10 feet from turtles in Hawaii. I have definitely had a few sneak up on me when snorkeling though. 😂 Especially if the water is a little murky they can just appear out of nowhere. As long as you don't touch them and back away once you see them then you won't be fined or anything. I hope you have a great trip! 🌴🌺🐢

Aloha, I’m one of the owners at Honolua Bay. Could you please remove the footage of Drawing and coloring on rocks?… It is a protected conservation area. We are constantly having to wash off rocks, and unstack rocks that visitors leave behind. Please encourage people who visit Honolua to not stack, color or throw rocks at the bay. Mahalo

Aloha, we didn't know there was anything wrong with coloring the rocks with chalk here. We always make sure to wash off any chalk we use anywhere we go and washed the rocks in the video off before leaving (part of leave no trace). I'll update the description to include that the owners would prefer people to not use chalk on rocks though. Mahalo!

Please do not go here if you are a beginner snorkeler my friend's brother died while snorkeling here. The waters are rough and scary. This is not a place for beginers.
