Between Kam III and the small boat launch area just south there is a rocky area, only about 100 yards long, we have seen dozens of turtles at a time here. You have to swim round to it from Kam III but it’s excellent.
Thank you for sharing such great info! Beautiful content! Can’t wait to see everything in person. We’ll be in Maui for a short weekend & luckily staying in Lahaina 😊🤿
Thanks for the Great Video, we are going back in March for 2nd time to Maui. We found Makena Landing by asking some locals and it was amazing. We did Honolua Bay as well which was awesome. We tried Napili Bay but got there later in the day and it was jam packed. We didn't snorkel around Black Rock Beach...though we did jump off the rocks, so might need to go back there. Thanks for all the other tips....getting excited to head back!
What a great and informative video! Thank you for sharing! What’s the best place in Maui to go snorkeling (can you recommend places that do tours with professionals, even if you have to pay) for a first time snorkeler?
you hit all the great places except the public park next to Kaanapali Villas. There are usually turtles there and I have seen multiple whale breaches there as well.
Most of the main brands are good. I’d say more then anything goggle fit is the most important. Everyone’s head shape is different so try a few on. Enjoy your trip
Great job on your video! Thanks for all the awesome information! Will be in Maui in two weeks!
Kapalua bay was dope, kaanapali is incredible, and makena landing and ahihi bay are very good
Thanks for introducing me to Kapalua Beach. I saw five turtles floating around, feeding, and lying on the ocean floor. My #1 fave beach on Maui.
Awesome video! I will definitely use you're wonderful tips for snorkeling

Went to Kaplaua Beach to snorkel and there was so much waves that it was hard to snorkel.

Hi for honolua bay, can you just snorkel yourself or do you have to go on a boat where they take you to a place to snorkel?
Hello yes, you can just go to Honolua Bay and snorkel. Enjoy 😊
The reason for all of the shark signs at olowalu is because it's a shark nursery.
Yea, for all, the alternative to sunscreens are rash guards and hoods. Easy. No mess. Think about it.
Where can I find the map behind you? That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks
