  • So last year the clan hosted a TF2 server on a lark. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Here are some highlights from the livestreams.

      thing is, he is probably right, i have not seen much but i saw that he didnt trickstab once. Maybe he is actually really good for picking the prime moments to backstab and not trying risky stuff, but hes already above average. Then again the average are the 4 newbie spies that are a part of every tf2 match so that may actually not be much.

    • @LeahThe3th
      @LeahThe3th 2 роки тому +237

      It's funny because he really is average at best, they just haven't learned the counterplay yet.
      That final backstab clip you could see how obvious it was with a demo not shooting at choke anything pacing in circles, backing closer and closer to the medic with the biggest giveaway being the quick flicks to check if the threat is still there.
      But it is really fun to watch anyones initial frustrations.

    I remember playing a TF2 game where I met a player, who, whenever he got backstabbed by a spy, he changed class to a pyro and ritualistically made it his driving focus in life to hunt down and dominate that player until they left the server. The man had a sociopathic hatred for spy's that still haunts me to this day. I have this fear that by posting this video, soviet might've awoken that beast. If Quebec was doing good at spy against a semi-competent team that knew what spy-checking is then he would have a harder time and the fact that most of the players don't check behind them at all mainly Soviet when playing medic when healing someone you can spy-check by looking behind then calling out to your heal target that there is a spy.

    9:33 that PHYSICALLY hurt me as a medic main. My heart fucking voided of emotion as I *felt* that backstab as the ubercharge just DISAPPEARED, that is the worst feeling. Hearing the beat get ready to drop harder than ever as you have your heavy in front of you, the charge at 99%, and suddenly its just GONE
    Edit: Just got to the end. Took me a couple seconds but right before the cinematic Soviet put in began I had a feeling there was a spy. When he zoomed in on the rocket I thought "Oh God, was it actually a crocket?" But then it froze on 0.1 and I realized "Oh.... No.... Please no not the fucking Demoman".

    I gotta comment after seeing the pinned comment about SFM not working. I salute to every UA-camr who uses that cursed program. I get nightmares when thinking about using high-poly models like exported character models (from other games) or fully rigged weapons. I get a crash roughly every 10-15 minutes due to the built-in memory limit of the program (models get saved into cache when browsing).
    This memory limit seems to be permanent. So roughly 24-30 crashes + restarts on a 4-hour SFM-session for a video.
    Absolute clusterf*ck of a program but fun to use. Understandably it's not super finished and designed for model imports since it was primarily for Valve's internal use AFAIK and is pretty much an abandonware now (excluding S2FM).

      There's a program called Large Address Aware that you can use on SFM to remove the native restriction on ram usage for 32 bit programs. It doesn't make it perfect, but for me it means that instead of crashing once every ten minutes I only crash every hour, hour and a half or so.
      For reference I have a octocore processor and 64 gigs of RAM

Explosions going off everywhere, bodies being blown to bits, bullets flying in all directions, people running around with some being brave and taunting, and more and more people joining the pandemonium. Then everything goes to a standstill as Soviet is about to ubercharge Mag and Quebec just steals it away from him again while disguised as a teammate.
