It's been a little over three years since I've seen this video, and was introduced to Sabaton. Since then I've listened to all their songs, bought several pieces of merch, and took three days off school to go see them live on tour in another state.
All of this because Womble thought the music in a golfing game was boring.

Same, this video is how I got into metal in the first place.
Sounds similar to how I was introduced. I was reading an ASoIaF story thread on a forum and got informed of "WHEN THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVED!"
You know that feeling of pure delight when you see soviet upload after a whole month of waiting. Then, as you watch the video, that bliss slowly starts to get replaced with melancholy and denial as the little red bar trickles ever so slowly to the end. You just want to stay happy and feel like you're with soviet and his friends - playing games, having fun, and betraying one another; however, you know that it'll never be. In the end, you just accept it and get depressed because you know you've gotta wait a whole month again just to feel that same magnitude of happiness again.

Sabaton is getting popular of late. Although most(if not all of) best songs were in Carolus Rex album and earlier, and that was 2012, I don't recall Sabaton to be popular than. They got some sort of conflicts in their band and they reformed or something, and they stopped making real stuff since.
I liked both Heroes and The Last Stand, it's not quite like their earlier stuff, but you can definitely see the roots in it
This is genuinely the best video Womble has made. It's very simple but the chemistry and a few editing tricks just take the prize. Watching it for the 7th time now.
