Zz2 makes a dongle you can plug into your radio and gives you wireless carplay and android auto. I use it with my 6 year old pioneer 4200. It Works great
what no demonstration of how good she sounds? my 05 is the Limited version, which has the tv's in the head rests. the drawback is who ever had it before me took out the unit so that they don't work. so i have to pay to replace that. i have seen some people hide the subwoofer in the side storage there in the back.
I will definitely put it in a video soon, i don’t know why i left that out.. it sounds really good, it’ll thump some insane bass but also play really clean detailed audio tracks, it’s all around pretty good setup.. dang, too bad you can’t get the screens to work.. but you probably wouldn’t use them much anyways, i really don’t use the drop down tv ever, it’s cool, but wasn’t necessary at all..
Definitely the greatest intro to date! The soft music, the red bull, the slurp and chug. Just awesome! Made for a good laugh. Well received! 😂😅 Love the upgraded nav unit. I’m still rocking my factory non nav on my 12 tundra with the factory JBL and giant factory sub that came with it. (Under the rear seat). It pumps well, but would love to upgrade to a more modern CarPlay nav. On the bright side, at least there wasn’t any mcnugget sauce on the amp 😉 Great vid, awesome red light in the woofer. Props for making it extra safe for the back seat McNugget consumers 🤙🏄♂️ Ps 10.4K subs! Amazing, stoked for ya!
This is an awesome comment to read, i cannot believe i didn’t write back sooner.. i read the comments but always put off responding because i want to write a quality response.. I agree that your factory head unit and JBL get the job done, i had a buddy with a bone stock 2012 Tundra, definitely cranked some tunes in there.. he was really proud of the system when the truck was new.. i don’t mind having to plug in my cell every time, but i would love to get wireless carplay.. And i can’t believe 10.4… (i think it’s even more now) thousand people subscribe to the channel , that’s a lot of peoples! I can’t tell you how much i appreciate every single one of em.. Thanks for sayin hey! 👍🏼
That looks clean. I Just finished my sequoia installation myself for about 1/2 the cost but was able to add more components, but it was a pain. Will upload the videos soon needs some editing
Where’s your bass amp? Or is that Mosconi a 5 channel, trying to get stuff ready for my build and don’t know a good spot for my bass amp. Going to be running 0 gauge so I need to get creative. Awesome build but you could have saved some money in a couple places, especially the head unit but to each their own. I ended up going with some focal access series, about the same price as a the kenwoods but I used an adapter to put 6.5 components in the front and coaxials in the rear. Sound way better than the factory JBL but I need my bass now. Where did you get your box?
That’s crazy you noticed the lack of a bass knob, i’ve had one with my last few audio setup’s but if i’m not mistaken they don’t make one for that head unit, they did for the next alpine halo.. lemme know if you know something i don’t.. i hate not having a bass control..
@@toyotafanatics1 Most amps come with a bass knob but if they dont this is what you can use. PAC LC-1 Remote Amplifier Level Controller and a short set of rca’s. I put mine in one of the blank buttons right under the 4wd buttons in the center console. Essentially its just a gain controller for the amp signal.
I’m still running the factory OEM units, they’re the absolute best quality you can find, but if you’re just looking for a quick upgrade, you can find a ton on amazon and ebay.. here’s a link to a decent quality set.. www.ebay.com/itm/192842690712?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=R6QVuqwJRhi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=7znpTDOfTJ-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
It’s a 40 series Flowmaster, dual in/single out.. and i kept the resonator.. i’m always thinkin i should remove that resonator.. it sounds great how it is.. i should probably just leave it alone..
$650 eh? I bought my RC900.5 for $325 from a seller in the UK. Shipping included. Woofers etc jack the prices of nosconi to way higher than what they sell for in the EU
That’s awesome.. i also had one of those Kenwood headunits that had the blank face that would flip around.. you remember those? i had so much old school car audio stuff back in the day.. where did it all go?
I'm 64 .I always like a good sound system. But what you have is literally over the top. and you cant here horns or things like that while driving and you will have hearing loss for the whole family. And You could have bot my Toyota sequoia, I got in excellent condition with new pioneer wide screen I bot the whole SUV for 6500.
It freakin bumps too, i’ll definitely put it in a video soon.. i bet from my garage(detached, but close to my house) it’ll make cups rattle on the shelves and stuff.. imma put this to the test.. but more importantly it sounds acoustically very clear and clean.. its good for all types of music, very versatile audio setup..
it's a green limited addition and it had 2017 new Toyota Highlander wheels with new Uniroyal tires and stereo sounds great.

Talks about driving an old Sequoia to save for a house, but spends $7000 on a audio system............I can relate!

Glad to see everything is going good. I like it the way it is.

You are CORRECT!!!! you either have kids or a serious sweet tooth!! 👍🏼

Interested in the cost of it also!!!
Cool set up. All I have is a double din and a 10” sub in the back behind the third row of my sequoia

That's kool, man! I have the 2006 Tundra same color.
2006 is a great year for the Tundra, i like the updated bumper up front.. and you have excellent taste in vehicle paint choice!! 👍🏼
@@toyotafanatics1 I think I'll keep it forever. It's still stick has I haven't done any mods yet, but thinking about lifting and shocks etc.

@@toyotafanatics1 do you know anyone with a decibel meter? It would be interesting, to go to a vacant lot and see the levels at different distances.
