I don’t get any spark or neutral light on when I apply ground to the lg/r wire but it does allow the engine to turn over I have replaced cdi, modules in the front, started rebuilt, stator tested good, kill switch cluster replaced I’m racking my brain trying to find spark
@@pullinpork4.822 I forgot to mention I replaced that as well being one of the lower cost parts. I did find the neutral bulb itself was burnt out but didn’t think that could be the issue
Sorry for the late reply, let’s say you are looking at the wires that go to the stator, into the case, towards the driver side of bike you will see 2 wires coming out, grey and light green/red. Cut the light green/red wire. And use a butt connection to crimp an extension wire. Keep it to ground at all times on the battery. Key will turn the neutral light off like normal. Be aware the neutral light stays on at all times while bike is running and in any gear
I got the same issue on a 01 trx500 foreman the neutral light is sometimes dim and sometimes bright but either way i still have no spark i notice you have the same flashing number on your dash flashing the number 100 im not sure if that might be some error code. For the life of me ive tested every where for ohms crank sensor power to the box earths all tests good and still no spark i only get one spark when i pull the ignition 10A fuse and jab it in and out for a millisecond it throws one spark at the coil so i know the coil is working and the wiring to the coil is getting there. Its got me #ucked on whats stopping it from sparking
Man I put a new stator voltage regulator cdi box and flywheel on my bike tried the jumper wire trick and i didnt get any neutral light or spark any advice?
Im having same issue, Looking at replacing the switch. After you grounded the green/red, your button still didnt work? I would bypass if my start button will work but if not Im gonna have to operate. ps, I have an 02 manual shift and an 06 ES and they both have same setup, same color wires and plug location.
The button didn’t work at all, before or after. I had to replace that whole button assembly so I didn’t have to jump the solenoid. Thank you for the info on manual and ES!

Have you verified the voltage rectifier is working.
It’s bolted in the frame under the rear passenger tire fender well.

I can’t tell how you connect the wire. Explain better if u can. I have same problem. Thanks

I would suggest cutting the wire by the connector and not the case, leave some tag for future repairs if needed.

It’s a 03 350

U said u cut the green / and blue. Did u tie them together or what
Cut the light green/Red wire. One wire.
Splice a wire long enough to reach ground.

@@DIYMikeAllThings you can put a push button in
That's what I ended up doing
I mean nice video, but yeah I wish you would have explained the wires better which wire did you cut and it look like you put it on the ground??
Light green/red wire off the N safety switch. There’s 2 wires one is grey.
This is a foot shift BTW
Light green/red wire hook it to ground.
@pullinpork4.822 yes .. thanks.
