Yes, it's a huge win to be perhaps 1 second faster than a lux boat. U right. Do you think the tlx was going all out? You hear the engine right? Next video is tlx ts driver in ctr.
@@AMGTOUGEX the Type s unfortunately is not a dedicated track car like the Type R is. For sure the Type R is handicapped on summer tires. It would be great if a Type S could keep up with a type r on a straight or curves, but its weight is holding it back. Great luxury car though.
I was just going to say that. That CTR was being driven gently around the corners. The TLX is a fine, powerful and luxurious sedan, but it would not be able to keep with the CTR on track-like roads with twists and corners. The CTR was literally made for that.
I believe it was off for this run. We started first run with it on. May I suggest you always leave everything on default settings first when hopping into a new car: 1. To learn it at base level. 2. For safety (leave TCS on)
@@AMGTOUGEX I turn off everything when I first hop in lol that’s just cause I know the cars limits especially this beast the really eats those corners well
@@BaroTheHusky its not about the car limits. It's about reducing the % the car will hit a limit the new driver wasn't ready for. I agree with you but im suggesting a proven way to gradually get accustomed to a new vehicle "nearing it's limits".
Edit: new video of tlx ts catches brakes on fire while chasing veloster N!! Uphill run. CTR-L = 200 tw summer tires TLX-TS = 500 tw oem AS tires 32*ish weather and wet (salted road). I feel that was the game changer due to the weather/tire; Ctr tires never got hot thus limited. We will see this summer with both on 200 tw. Biggest complaint is the TLX TS brakes. They will smoke and give error message even on an uphill run!
I just got mine a week ago & had to give you props for this vid, it was one of the ones that helped with my decision & it's been a blast. Thx & keep them comming
Nice to see someone driving the car like intended!
Those roads look fun.
SHAWD IS A BEAUTY IN THIS TYPE OF ROAD
I love the Sh Awd. Unique Tech
That was sick
Wow man for the larger sedan that can keep up dude in a Luxury car that is made to cruise Killer!!!!
I get the same 'brake system failure' in my 22 MDX as well.....usually when I first turn it on in the morning.
My dream car
It's not a dream! You got this!
Were you on the factory rims with AS Pirelli 7? Or the lighter factory rims with AS?
Factory wheels and AS.
Sh Awd is special on them roads
TLX Type S is 1000lbs heavier than the Type R. If that type R is trying, he will smoke you in straight ESPECIALLY in the turns.

The SHAWD setup will out-corner a FWD all day long.
Glad that I will buy a fully loaded MDX Type S Advance anyway.
Want us to test drive it?! 😜
Sweeet. Nice run.
Looks like fun!
Where is this road? Which state? Nice video keep it coming 👍🏼
Canada
@@AMGTOUGEX typical muricans everything gotta be a state and everything uses USD 😂
@@AMGTOUGEX where in canada? if ontario would love to drive on that road
@@MeGoSwearAtYou Manitoba somewhere. Was visiting for the weekend. I am not familiar.
Waiting for mine to come in!
Awesome!! I now love it also!
When did you order it?

Summer tires + below 40F = driving on ice
A regular civic with all seasons could keep up as well to be honest.
One of the best vids for this car
But wait!! There's more!!!
@@AMGTOUGEX Ok I'll be looking for it, I definitely want this car so these vids help solidify my decision
