Rhubarb?? Already ???? Poisonous Leaves ?? Morgan !!!! Ain't nothing like a little danger for this Canadian when making a beautiful pie, I scoff at danger :) I can't believe you're headway into a harvest already, we've only begun to plant beans and zucchini (of course I understand the global differences between Wyoming and southern Ontario, but alas, ) you're so lucky to enjoy the fruits of the planet so soon :) And that custard, OH MY ! I can taste the tart of the rhubard with that creamy goodness.......ok I'm drooling now.........gotta run........ fist bumps from Canada :) can't wait for the next adventure
Thankyou for the video ~ Thankyou for the information about rhubarb leaves, I had no idea. My husband got a bunch of rhubarb from his parents house when they died, more than 15 years ago, our daughter used to take it to use, then stopped, so he dug it out, but MUST have left a root behind, it back in full force now. He just leaves it now to grow & rot cos its not wanted.
I planted rhubarb last year for the first time and wasn’t sure if I could harvest so I waited until this year and since I know the leaves are poisonous, I break them off and leave them outside to compost in place. Fun fact is you can let them compostinto the garden and that is not harmful
I hope you get an amazing harvest this year! Yes you totally can! We have animals that hang out in the garden with me so I don’t but if absolutely can! 😊
@@debbiebeckstead9268 well I don’t think that’s harmful because we can’t touch them and rip them off but you just don’t want it eat them and you don’t let your pets eat them. You know I’m gonna go outside and make a hat out of one of these leaves now.😂
Love your videos as I have said before! This is totally off topic...where do you get your shorts? They are so cute! I noticed them also in the video where you and your mom and planting your garden. Super cute!
Thank you so much! Here is what I am wearing in this video I love skorts so they are usually what I gravitate towards. I have heard if you want more stalker to grow, for another harvest, you need to pull the stalks, not cut them. Maybe someone can cornfirm. I am anxious for my plants to be more mature.
Thank you! We just announced that we are expecting and I have been down with pretty bad morning sickness for a while now. Fingers crossed it will be gone soon and we can return back! I appreciate your continued support 😊

It's rhubarb season in Northern Ontario too. It thrives up here (zone 4b) harvested a bushel yesterday.
Thank you so much! I hope your planing is going well, best of luck this gardening season and happy growing! 😊

It looks like a whole stick of butter🤷🏼♀️
@@lindaweikert8311 Morgan corrected herself. Didn’t you see the text? “1 stick of butter” on the screen.
