@@SHxDOW_NITEMxRE shhhhh, you're talking over everyone who cares, oh wait
5 years and I still cry when people talk about him or I hear linkin park songs. Its weird how much you can miss someone you never formally met
Not 5 years yet… july 20th 😔😔
@@DeathcoreHusky why would you even correct someone with such a pointless comment?
@@DeathcoreHusky does Alli D needed to say 4 years and 10 months? please let someone expressed how much they missed Chester
Alli D correct the way you are feeling is very, much similar to the people who loves Chester but they never met him take care

Chester was an angel... I was 14 when I found him. I cried when we lost him.
Linkin Park's music will never die, not with a voice like Chazzy's.
We all love and miss you!

@@volumedealer2716 no one asked you
@dirtbag daryal They will never die, they have been releasing, unreleased music for a while.
@dirtbag daryal Damn, okay then captain buzzkill.
I don't care if LP is dead, the influence Chester and the band as a whole had on the world won't ever go away.
@@ZapchonNG now that was a great response and I respect you for sharing your thoughts about Linkin Park and especially Chester Bennington 🤓❤️👍
I miss him dearly still… beautiful soul, praying he is at peace now. Rest In Paradise, Chester. Thank u for your gifts. And for those who suffer with depression, including myself, please seek help and give yourself a break. Remember u are loved.
@Garrick Wiechmann thank u
@Garrick Wiechmann I’m jealous! That’s awesome. I found them while I lived on the streets… really helped me thru that time.

@dirtbag daryal cell phone. I had two bills: storage and cell phone.
Linkin Park was the 2000's and Chester was the Voice. Gen X's and Millennials will always cherish the Alternative and Nu-Metal scene we were raised by it
Actually, respect on Loudwire for including a clip from Imagine Dragons. I know they’re easy to laugh at in the rock scene, but they spoke genuinely and it’s cool to see how LP could inspire bands of different sounds.
Yeah Dan Reynolds is a really classy and genuine person
Definitely respect to them, but I mean, they're still in the category of rock, even if you might call them pop-rock, it's not like they're EDM, rap, R 'n' B, etcetera.
It makes sense that they inspired bands with different sounds considering LP tried out all sorts of different genres across their albums.
I don’t see any problems with their music and why people would make fun of that
“Don’t resent me and when you’re feeling empty, keep me in your memory, Leave Out All The Rest”🖤💔💔💔
Never disrespect a legend like Chester I remember I heard their album hybrid theory and I was on the verge of a mental breakdown that album helped me through it so thank you chester you'll be missed love you man
Man, this still hurts a lot....
RIP Brother....U will be missed, and your music will live on forever
Well, I didn't expect to cry at 9:30 in the morning, but here we are.
We've lost a lot of great musicians in my lifetime; Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Dave Williams, Scott Weiland, The Rev, Chris Cornell and last but not least, Chester Bennington. I'm a fan of all the bands those men belong to, but NONE of those deaths even came close to affecting me on the level that Chester's did, and still does today. I'm crying as I type this.
This man and his music has impacted my life on a level I never thought possible. I remember a friend posting about his death on fb like it was yesterday. I thought, "There's no fucking way this is real. This has to be another celebrity hoax." I remember going to Google and EVERY SINGLE HEADLINE was about Chester and how he'd committed suicide. It started sinking in that this was real. I, along with SO MANY other people around the world, really wish it wasn't. God, I wish it wasn't. 😭😭
I'll bet they're all having one hell of a jam session in Heaven.
Weird, it’s 9:30 a day after this post and I currently am
@dirtbag daryal What??

Me too 😢😢😢😭❤
July 20th will be the 5 year anniversary of Chester's death. I cried when I first heard the news. Linkin Park was what got me into metal music. Hell, music in general when I was in my late childhood/early teens. Thank you Linkin Park but most of all, thank you Chester Bennington. You will be missed. Your music touched a lot of lives and our childhoods
6th yr today
“Many of his fans blamed him for being cowardly.” When the news broke, I didn’t see a SINGLE person saying anything like this anywhere. I feel like Larry King just made that up
Definitely not, I heard it a bunch from family members and friends on Facebook, and I thought it was really really shitty to disrespect someone like that
Many people did blame him for being cowardly. None of those people were fans though
@dirtbag daryal wow, aren’t you cool
@dirtbag daryal That's ignorant and disrespectful.
@dirtbag daryal okay edgelord.
RIP chester bennington,RIP joey jordison,RIP paul gray,RIP keith flint,RIP chris cornel,RIP wayne static,RIP jeff hanneman,RIP vinnie paul,RIP dimebag darell,RIP cliff burton,RIP dolores o'riordan and also RIP kurt cobain
thank you for all your kind music, spread the words & vibes and inspired my own life

Rip David Bowie...rock is going to be dead
Rip Layne Staley and Andrew wood too
Here is why you should never DISRESPECT a LEGEND like this:
LISTEN to his voice, His grit, His fry vocal voices that we will NEVER forget.
His legendary 17 second scream, NO ONE beats that longest scream.
And lastly, His clean voice during the bridge part of In The End is nostalgic and beautiful. Look how he is, He's with other legends in heaven. When you listen to his Isolated vocals and it shivers down to your spine and sing along with his voice. that is why Chester is the BEST vocalist that has ever been and he will be always be. And no one replace him if anybody tried to replicate his true voice!
For anyone missing his voice i highly recommend Cross Off - Mark Morton.
Chester absolutely makes that track a 10/10
Incredible voice and an incredible person gone entirely too soon.
One of his best vocal performances! Whenever I see people saying that his voice got weak over the years I tell them to listen to it- recorded only 3 months before his death, and he sounded incredible
To add to this he had 2 other bands that he also sang in named "Dead by Sunrise" and "Grey Daze" and Grey Daze is coming out with a new album with old recordings of Chester
he recorded that song, and not to long after. Guessing a few weeks went on tour for the last time w L.P.
@@mxt217 he recorded that in April 2017. A month later he went on tour, 3 months later he was dead.
@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid i’m sure that right. Wasn’t to long after.
5 years later, it still fucking hurts.
I gotta say, as someone else who's struggles with contemplating suicide... it's not cowardly nor pathetic to end up taking your own life away. I wish people knew how much it takes for someone to make that final decision. I'm trying my best to make my life worth living through, even in today's fucked up world. I keep telling myself that I'm gonna be ok, I have my doubts but I'm trying. I wish the best of luck to everyone out there. Nothing but love & respect for those who're fighting their demons
God bless you Frankie!!🙏
Chester and Chris did NOT take their own life. Another cover up story that's a insult to their memory. If you're not awake to what is going on by now, you never will be
@@SerpentStar_ Then what happened to them, enlighten me
@@frankiebloodshed Just commenting to hopefully learn "the truth" myself. 🤣
@@vvoof2601 I don't think anyone would lie about what happened to them. They literally saved thousands of people, myself included
I still can't get over it, That man and LP got me through some tough times and would listen to em on the daily. R.I.P Chester, You are incredibly missed 🕊️🙏🏻
@dirtbag daryal probably listening to the music. We're fans, we never knew him personally and couldn't do a lot to help him. Not to mention, he had dozens of friends and family members who tried to help him, and even that wasn't enough... pointing fingers and blaming people for 'not helping him enough' doesn't do any good.
Mikes' story of a young Chester being so excited about their song being played on the radio is so bittersweet man. It's a damn shame that he wasn't able to enjoy his life like he would have deserved.
5 years. 5 fucking years and it's not any easier. We miss you, Chester, and we thank you for the music you gave us.
It’s been 4 years since we lost our Chester.
Almost half a decade. Time flies.
four? 😭
it'll be 5 this year.
This make me cry 😭😭😭😭
How Mike can just talk about Chester so open and confidently…Mike is such a good guy man honestly i could listen to him all day
I never would have gave rock music a chance if it wasn't for Linkin park..
RIP Chester!
dafuq, linkin park isn't and has never been rock. I'll be nice, it was radio-friendly nu metal.
@@gustru2078 mega cap, its hard alternative rock with metal elements

No rock in there, man. It's all power chords + rappy lyrics during verses. It's more apparented to Korn and Limp Bizkit than rock.
@@gustru2078 i don't think u know what rock is korn isn't rock it's more of a nu metal band
Still tear up thinking about it. Gone too soon. Rest In Peace
Hawkins and Bennington, the two heroes of mine that I'll never see live. Rest in peace you magnificent people.
Most versatile band of all time to me, with a hell of a front man. They were always focused on the music.
Chester is missed everyday of the year. He had a talent a voice that will live on forever. When you listen to his music. His spirit lives. With a beautiful smile. Depression is so real. And such a struggle. Please talk to someone. You are never alone. We all love you chester forever. Rip.
hearing Mike Shinoda talk about Chester makes my heart sink. i can’t imagine how HARD this was to him. PT’s album from Mike is one of my go-to albums when i’m feeling low, when i’m feeling that nothing makes sense anymore. Chester will be in everyone’s heart forever.
Chester will always be in our hearts 💕 Rest In Peace 💔
My hero 🙌🏽
We will never stop missing him 🖤
Chester is a legend, unforgettable, the best singer of the world 😥❤
I still miss this man so much. I really do hope he found peace.
You will never be forgotten Chester!
He was so loved and such a real person , he really left behind an amazing legacy and such timeless music leave out all the rest RIP .
we miss you Chester 💔 🎶🕯️🤘🏻
Depression or not, we could all use a friend like Mike Shinoda. Chester was so blessed to have him in his life, and Mike was blessed to have Chester as a friend. It is so sad that you can't love people to wholeness because Chester had so many people who loved him but in the end you've got to love yourself man, you've got to. To anyone reading this: you deserve to be here and to make choices favouring yourself. You owe it to yourself. Choose yourself and your mental health, your safety and security. Be good to yourself. Take care of yourself even if no one else does. Be there for yourself. You deserve this life, and you deserve happiness no matter what happened in the past. You deserve it.
I didn't expect to get so emotional with this, it's been almost 5 years.
R.I.P Chester forever in our hearts
I’m actually bawling my eyes out right now… Chester… we all miss you… there’s never a day that goes by when I don’t think about you… who cares if One More Light goes out..? Well we all do…
Sleep in heavenly peace my friend… you’ll forever be alive in our hearts..! 🤘💔
Legends never die!
I still can't get over Chester's death but yup Corey's right, no one understands what a person goes thru until they walk in our shoes. We all have a story to tell, a load that we carry and yet we don't want the world to know what we go thru bcuz we don't wanna see anyone sad or hurting. Thanks y'all
*My Top 3 Most Meaningful LP songs:*

Can’t believe it’s been 5 years already Jesus I remember where I was when this happened! In 2017 It was rough year and I tried hanging myself then I listened to Heavy which helped me from stopped doing it so later on I heard about this and was at lost for words and didn’t believe it at first now here we are 5 years after and still don’t believe it nor want to specially when I stopped hanging myself while listening to Heavy. Chester as a person not musician has always been my biggest influence and just wish he could’ve stopped pulling the trigger like i did as someone who battles severe depression. Always loved and remembered thank you Chester for everything
Was just listening to Linkin Park live on UA-cam this morning ❤️ My favorite band of all time.
Chester is still alive in our hearts
poor Mike. he's still just half of a whole.
He's a whole ass person capable of great things
He saved many of our lives, and we couldn't save him, miss u Chester...
The weight of the loss of a legendary vocalist like Chester still is so heavy on my heart. Sometimes I feels like I’m suffocating knowing we’ll never get to hear his voice again.
Miss him so much mates
Chester has always been my role model, he fought so damn hard, and I'm nowhere near as strong but he showed me that I'm not alone.
Tears..tears 😭😭
To those who miss Chester every freaking day with a heavy heart, bless you. It's still too much to bear. But he would want us to keep listening to music, especially when you're at your lowest. We're in this together. All. The. Freaking. Way. ❤️✌🏾
YES I AGREE❤❤
R.I.P. one of the best Singers and Human Beings in the World
He is the reason I listen to music , forever he will be missed and forever will be my fav singer
I miss him so...was shocked how much it hurt to tell the truth. I gain strength through my son and my music in the dark days..I hope I never run out!

I MISS CHESTER EVERY SINGLE DAY. THE VOID CREATED THROUGH THIS LOSS IN MY HEART AND MIND CAN NEVER BE FILLED. I WILL ALWAYS KEEP HIM IN MY MEMORY AND LEAVE OUT ALL THE REST. 💔💐
CHESTER I always miss you. You remain our Heart. I Love You So Much ❤️❤️❤️
I still miss him very much.
I miss him badly
Thank you Chester.
Yeah, everytime I watch a video of Chester singing, my eyes tear up and my heart breaks. I am so sad he had to go the way he did, but it reminds us that the struggles of depression are real and that no one should be ashamed to admit that they need help and support, be it a family member, a friend or counselor. Chester I miss your beautiful voice and your music, but most especially I miss your ypur presence on this earth. You will always be missed!! R.I.P. Chester Bennington!!🙏😪💔
I'm 19 years old and I'm not from the us.
When I started listening to and getting into linkin park it was 1 or 2 years after his death. His massage and greatness got to me eventhough I wasn't a linkin park fan when he was alive. I owe him big time in these past few year.
And he's no even in this world.
Thank you chester.
You will always be remembered.
I got tickets to see them literally a week before his passing :( I still hold on to the printed ticket. He saved my life.
Chester always in my heart 🖤 , Linkin Park always in my soul🖤
Long live the kind soul who healed so many souls like us...
I'm indebted by you , and Chester you'll always be my number one 🖤
Even though I never had depression or suicidal thoughts, listening to Linkin Park made me feel better. I've known them since I was very little, but I really got into their music in March 2021. When I found out about Chester's death, I was shocked!
It's now April 2022 and I haven't stopped thinking about him. Remember: if you ever feel terrible, call for help, you're not alone.
Rest in peace, he is the reason I like heavy music. Thank you so much for all that I know
feels like it just happened. I cant believe its almost 5 years. I never met him but he helped me through a lot and he still does. such a strange feeling to feel such a deep loss for someone I never met.
Rest in Peace Chester,🙏in my eyes you were Amazing!!🌟⚘
It’s so sad hearing mike talk about him man that breaks my heart
Beautiful soul❤️
My most peaceful memories, practicing kick flips on my skateboard listening to hybrid theory in the early noughties, those first two albums help me, an abused kid not feel alone, not feel like I was a piece of shit, but the people who did it to me were the pieces of shit, his lyrics taught me that I'm worth something. I'll never forget those days.
I am truly happy that I grew up when I did...Was a gift growing up hearing him sing!!! 😔 One of the best voices in Rock ever imo...✌️
I miss you chester.
that was the worst day of my entire life have entire had for 2 years depression is real I miss you Chester I wish there was another way that you're still with us rest in peace brother
i miss him so much . I know how hard it is to be contemplating and finding a way to live . Look at the comments here and see how many people are mourning his death . These people are the people who will mourn you and wish you never left. These people are your family , your friends , your acquaintances , your crossed paths . Please know you mean so much to the world around you. See the reflection of these comments in your own life. Keep going . Keep remembering the good to fix and fight the bad .
Rest in peace chester.💔
Chester: The G O A T 🔥
Grew up listening to LP.
He truly was the voice of a generation
He is immortalized for aeons.
Rest in Paradise, Chester.
6 Years…still miss ya Chester!
I miss chester bennington so much 💔💔💔
Fly High and Rest Easy Chester 🙏🏼🎙 we miss and love you brother ❤️
Still get emotional thinking about it, I just hope he has found peace now and I’m so grateful that I had the privilege of listening to his voice and the music he made. His passing will definitely stick with me for the rest of my life but at least I get to listen to the music he made while he was here, still hurts to think about though RIP Chester
Depression is the devil that can exist in ANYONE. It's not always apparent. I certainly didn't expect Chris Cornell to commit suicide due to depression. Chester didn't keep his depression a secret but I was still shocked and heartbroken about his death. May they rest in peace.
I can’t believe it’s already been like 4 years since we lost him, he was such a unique and talented singer and just seemed like such a good guy as well. RIP man, and thanks for all the music you’ve given us
i almost crying when i hear chester voice every moment. still miss him.
Although I don't listen to much of Linkin park, I did see them live once and you can't deny the stage presence of chester and that voice reached so many people! Hopefully he's jamming out with the man upstairs and having a blast! 🙏🙏
Goodbye Chester. We hope you're in Peace now. We will forever consider you as a musical legend. Love you dude ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Astounding to me it is almost 5 years. I never really got why people cried over musicians that they never met, but I felt Chester's death more than I expected. I remember hearing Hybrid Theory after school one day when playing the South Park N64 game with my friend in early 2001. Fell in love. I remember Papercut and One Step Closer being cool songs but With You blew me away and still does.
RIP Chester. We miss you so fucking much. You are loved and will be forever loved.
Chester Bennington is my idol
Chester Bennington is not a coward.
Mike looks so lost ,it's heartbreaking to see such lifeless eyes
I appreciate Mike for his ability to stay positive and not get hung up on the negative, but it feels so very difficult to "celebrate his life" and not focus on the overwhelming feeling of loss and grief.
