My favorite Steven Story is that in 80’s Steve was so high in studio that old Aerosmith song came on radio and Steven didn’t recognize that it was their song and suggested they cover it. Joe Perry yelled to him:” It’s us you fuckhead.”
That's definitely rockstar level high.
Haha. Steven said after a year and a half of touring and doing this song he was getting a little burnt out and would change it up and sing “I DONT WANT TO KISS THAT THING!!!” lol He’s got the best stories. Read their 1997 autobiography Walk This Way. One of the best, most interesting books I’ve ever read.
Steven is blessed with a bulletproof set of vocal chords, which enables him to be so emotive when he sings.
We kind of take Aerosmith for granted because they've been so big for so long but Steven Tyler is definitely one of the all time great rock vocalists.
Robert Plant, Axl Rose, Steven Tyler, Brent Smith, Elvis. My top 5 male Rock Vocalist
@@TheSupernaturalWolf41nah, Axl was bad, but their songs were good
Fact: this song was written by Diane Warren. She's so underrated when she has written an amount of very famous songs like this or Because you loved me (Celine Dion) or Un-break my heart (Ton Braxton).
Absolute classic, anyway.
And intended for celine
Great take and review of Aerosmith. I have seen Aerosmith live 8 times in 5 different decades, 3 in high school in the '70's first time in 1973, and the last in 2001. In my opinion they are the best live performaning band I have seen. And I've seen The Who(1989) Pink Floyd (1995), Queen, Van Halen (3x in the '80), Black Sabbath (1971) Ozzy (4x), Deep Purple (1971), Grand Funk Railroad (1970), ACDC (4x), Guns and Roses (5x), Metallica (4x), Stevie Ray Vaughn (3x), Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane (1972), Kenny G, Harry Connick Jr, Streisand, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson (7x), James Taylor, CSN&Y, Jimmy Buffet (4x), Leon Russell (Delany Bonnie and Friends and solo) Dr John, BBKing and Carlos Santana. plus so many others... Aerosmith live is by far the best show.
Wow that’s quite the list !! Wish I had been old enough to have seen GFR
@@gregharmon3797 I was fortunately born at the right time to witness the best 10 years of rock, folk, blues and jazz - 1965 to 1975. Grew up in southeast Texas with Houston/Galveston and hour and a half west, Lake Charles, LA an hour and a half east, Baton Rouge and Austin 3 hours out, New Orleans, Shreveport, Dallas and San Antonio 4 hours away in different direction. Plus a mom that work at the local University, that'd keep me posted on which tours were happening, by talking to her students. That and getting a subscription to Rolling Stone magazine. I had my own money from summer jobs, and eventually after school jobs. I spent my money on hi-fi equipment, albums and concert tickets. It was just short of an addiction. Still is, except I have been priced out of the big name shows. To think I once saw Mountain, Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead in the same show, for $2.00...
Probably the greatest theme song to any film in history.
This song and this incredible voice is truly legendary, it's insane.
Aerosmith is such a fantastic group !
I will be a the final show of their farewell tour next january in Montréal, It’s gonna be one heck of a show ! I just can’t wait.
I got to see Aerosmith live in concert in Salt Lake City about 20 years ago when I was homeless. I was heading to the shelter and a scalper handed me a ticket. That was the most unforgettable moment in my life. I never would have imagined being given tickets to Aerosmith let alone when I was homeless.
I’ve seen them more times than I can count. Waited online for front row tickets every time. He’s amazing. AMAZING. It’s not just his vocals. Steven’s performance is always stunning, sexy and heart pounding. The sound is a hiss. Unfortunately my seat, is selling for $10K. Used to be $100.00.
When it comes to your content this song title says it all, “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing”. That’s because I love the content you provide for us. Enjoyed the reaction as usual!!!!
ahhh the song that would be played at every school dance and wedding for the better part of 2 decades! they come from a time when live performances were just as important as the albums. great reaction miss! may i suggest checking out some sevendust? they have a great vocalist as well.
Beautiful - Just the Armageddon soundtrack
Aerosmith will always be an emblematic band, its style, rooted in blues-based hard rock, also incorporating elements of pop rock, heavy metal and rhythm and blues.
Steven Tyler forever!!!
Nice react ❤
He may growl or run out if breath, but he is always on key! One of the GOATS of rock n roll.
That moment when people realize that Steven Tyler can actually do it all.. Not just in the studio, not with autotune, not with synthesizers, just his own damn mouth! Incredible! Check out Steve Perry and Journey, you'll be amazed at some of the things he could do
Another great reaction legendary band for sure. Keep being you. 😊🤟👍👍
Favorite part of the day! Reactions with Ray Ray❤
It's a fucking damn good song. Love this band so much because Aerosmith was 23 years ago the beginning of my deep love to Rock and Metalmusic when I was 15 years old. And I sang the whole song in my flat with Steve :) dosn't mather if my neighbours hear me sing or not :)
man she is soo damn beautiful luv ur reactions
Great video! One of my favorites is Steven Tyler's tribute (Abbey Road) to Paul McCartney at the Kennedy Awards
They were a great band, no doubt about that! This is probably my favourite track of theirs, but seeing them just don’t float my boat, I just have hysterics watching him sing 😆
Nice reaction and interpretation 🌹
What do you mean "were", they're still great
@@zechs5889 sorry but I’ve moved on; I did used to like some of their songs but not anymore. I’m more into newer bands now, the ‘old school’ bands no longer interest me.
@Darrell71 What a terrible thing to happen.
@@zechs5889 not really, it’s just part of my evolution!
i seen them 1983 live DREAM ON his voice went soo soo high
He is from the Boston area...he sang treasure in accent...
Yay Aerosmith!!!
Legendary Aerosmith, Gorgeous Rachel
@6:05 that falseto blob sound he quickly switched to and switched back was out of the world!!
Please do a reaction to Come On by Oktaf Kanis, thanks Rachel 🙏🏻🔥
Aerosmith are such a great band. Yeah their more recent stuff is hit or miss, but damn, their back catalogue from 70s to early 90s is full of killer songs.
And Stephen Tyler has one of the most unique voices in rock.
I saw them live when they played maui and it was so perfect.
Great reaction to a great song
Next react to Oktaf Kanis - Come On, thanks Rachel 🎉
Saw em live once in the late 90s, they freaking rocked the place!
I remember you from high school Rachel! This is awesome you do reactions hope you get this comment but I really hope you’re doing well 😀
Next reaction has to be Crazy!!
Amazing reaction Rachel! I need you to react Oktaf Kanis - Come On, thank you 🎉
saw them in 1997 my first concert.
There’s a video of Two Cellos and Steven Tyler playing together at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy that’s amazing. Also in the suggestions for this video is one with Steven doing this song with Taylor Swift, I haven’t watched but I saved the song already. This song was playing in the background of a scene in the movie Armageddon with Steve’s daughter Liv Tyler in it.
Living on the edge
Cool reaction Rachel! Next do a reaction to Come On by Oktaf Kanis, thank you 😊
🔥🔥🔥
I recommend to 'Oktaf Kanis - Come On' thanks!
Would love to see you react to the band AVATAR and their song Napalm (Live from Ages). They are from Gothenburg, Sweden. They just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Rock Airplay, and got a fossil named after them!
The studio version of a song is the idealized version of the song. Live performances may or may not be anything like the studio version. If you have to do one hundred takes to get it right you may want to change the song to something you can perform one hundred times and get it most of them.
You need to check out there song ANGEL...awesome song and vocals by Steven
I have found something that I need to see a reaction on!!!!!!
There's an insanely Talented 15-year old singer Named 'Emma Kok' who recently sung Voila w/ Andre Rieu's orchestra and it's just honestly something different... Would love to see a reaction to it!
Aerosmith
Jenie's got a gun
Great song, Great band. What more can you say?
If you want to see another great live performance, try "Steven Tyler, Slash, and Train “Dream On” at the Howard Stern Birthday Bash (2014)" 🤘🤘
Welcome to rock n roll where freedom is a sound
I hate that great singers are forced to age out of the thing they and we love most. Life is a slow burn that goes too fast at times. Loved Aerosmith since the early 80s. My little wife loved their music as well. Lost her in 2019 suddenly. Life is a flame that burns bright and strong for a good while and then its gone. With rocks and the screaming singers it can come to an end sooner than anyone wished as the voice goes of the hips or knees. Im 54 now myself and not that 18 year old I was . I know it all. At least music seems timeless.
❤❤❤ to steven and you
Flime Armageddon has Stive Tayler daughter, Liz Tayler.
I hope you are going to there Farewell tour this year. I’m going to the Indianapolis show.
I don't have fun facts like the rest of the comments seem to have but I need to express how insanely attractive this man is to me regardless of the fact that he is old enough to be my grandfather
Love Aerosmith ,, how about Journey Live with Steve Perry 81 tour Houston ,, who's crying now ,,or separate ways ??????
Excelent!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Please REACT Don’t Cry - Guns N’ Roses - Live Tokyo 1992.
Aerosmith had never had a number one hit until they did this song written by someone else and IMO it's not even a rock song but a pop song. There is nothing better than the Aerosmith of the 70s where their music was hard-driving rock and not this stuff.
Really great reaction, please react to Time-Pink Floyd
Olá
Reaga a Gabriel Henrique ... brasileiro que fez um cover dessa música ... ficou lindo ❤
Next is Dimas Senopati who covers slowrock songs from 1980 & 1990. Greetings from Indonesia.
❤❤❤❤
I seen them and guns and roses at the same show😊
❤❤❤
5:15 Is Billie Perry, Joe Perry's wife 😅
If I remember correctly, some time ago, a few doctors put a camera down Steven Tyler's throat to study his vocal folds
❤❤
for reall you should make a react on myles kenedy and slash to anastasia song !!!

In an earlier recording,he nearly ruptured his vocal chords.
next avenged sevenfold - almost easy live lbc pls rachel
you're so pretty
react to Gabriel Henrique singing this song
Have you seen Steven perform Amazing in rehab?
Was funny when I was at an Aborted show earlier this year, and they started with this as an intro, just a more fucked version 😂
When this song/movie came out it got so over played, and every summer couple made it "their song". So after those summer flings about 6 months later I took sadistic joy in driving around blaring it out of the car.
React Queen please!
This song is even more poignant if you've seen Armageddon, because it's Bruce Willis' character flashing back on his daughter's life. His daughter was played by Liv Tyler, Steven's daughter.
life without you Stevie Ray Vaughan captiol theathern1982
Are you sure that this is from 2004? It can't be. Was he here 56 years old?
Soccer mom goonie monster
Please I beg of Dino gala owlz
Tell me your favorite Matt Dillon story
Damn, the pensioneers that are now in the heat for plowing girls in their teens....damn.....
I prefer the Mark Chestnut version
Million times better
Don't watch it from 2014 and on. His backup singer sucks. =/ But from 2001-2008, Steven was at his best. And his backup singer, Russ Irwin, was amazing!
Is uit weird for you to know and realize that Steven Tyler and Aerosmith........are BOOMERS!!!!!.......
DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNN
