Steven Tyler is a vocal anomaly. Most of the rock singers from his 70s generation, even 80s rockers, have already lost their voice by now. Whereas Steven is still a beast at his age. His longevity is remarkable.
Yeah, he's done pretty darn good. That said, I remember back in the early 2k he did have surgery for cord bleeding associated with a polyp. Obviously it was successful and he made a come back.
Steven wrote this at 16 years of age on his father's baby grand piano. Yes, please do react to the original, I loved this reaction and the original is def. worth a listen!
When I heard the original and found out it was Aerosmith my mind was blown because he voice was so different, hadn't cracked and aged due to screaming lyrics yet... original with his young voice was 🤯.
This live performance is great when you already know the original studio version really well. Not sure it is the best for a first ever listen to Dream On, though.
Thanks on this reaction. Seeing your reaction makes proves how legend they were. I love you stay beautiful and stay healthy always bisscute. I'm your fan.
Insane that Tyler still has those pipes at his age. I've been screaming out rock music for the past 50 years and I'm nowhere near that confident. Rock God
Gotta look at it this way, I'm 64 and have been listening to Aerosmith for over 50 years now. Steven is a bit older than I and has partied WAY more than I ever have. He's one of the seventies icons that still has it. By all means react to Dream On, Walk This Way, Seasons of Wither or any early Aerosmith tune. Try to find a live version.
25 years ago, I was sitting in the smoking room at Washington Dulles Airport... and Slash walked in!!! Everybody freaked and was afraid to speak to him. He sat next to me and I said hey,"has anyone said you look like like Slash from Guns & Roses"? He said, "Yeah that's me man"! I spent the next hour smoking and chatting with this incredibly cool and down to earth guy...got his autograph... hehe! Awesome guy!!! His cat wasscar!! His cat was named Oscar!!
Thanks for sharing such cool time with us. So nice to watch you discovering our music and sharing it with everyone here. Loved all of 'em then and love them all still today. Watching and diggin it from a fan in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Go with God. Peace.
I saw Steven and Aerosmith before the first album even came out, they opened for Mott the Hoople back in 1973, we knew immediately they were good and could be big, just did not how big they eventually got, attaining desert island status for me. Would see them at least a dozen times, the last about 15 years ago. Always a great show, try Train Kept a Rolling live, it has been a killer song for them for 50 years. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Steven’s dad was a classical pianist and teacher in New York. I love musicians that play piano. Two of my favorites are Steven and Freddie Mercury ❤ please also react to the official video of Dream on.
steven tyler is down to earth and a super great peson in general.around christmas time he goes to his local wallgreens and buys all the gift cards they have in stock and gives them away to random people and the homeless.he stll owns property in his old home town of marshfeild and the original band studio is still in holbrook massachusetts.
I do recommend the original, when Steven Tyler was in his prime. Not that he isn't still amazing at his age. But the power he poured into this song is truly undescribable!
Steven Tyler is an amazing singer, he is also the father of Liv Tyler (the brunette in the video Crazy, the Elf Princess who loved Aragon in Lord of the Rings, and also starred in Armegeddon as Bruce Willis' daughter and Ben Affleck's love) and... in her dad's video for the movie!!!
Thanks Biscutte for choose this great amazing Song...Steven+ Slash great togheter on stage. But I thing t'he song I don't Sant to miss a thing ... Its more sentimental and deeper song like Dream on but Dream on itas a greatest hit of Aerosmith but now Please choose I don't miss a thing anda compares yourself... Please Biscutte... Byyyeeee
This is my favourite Aerosmith song. This version is new to me and my lord this is fantastic! Thank you for reaction to one more timeless classic rock song. ~ Vals
Imagine living at the time when these incredible singers were at the top of their bands, turning on the radio in their invoked car, people enjoying it without so much concern... Thankfully, today technology allows us to feel a little of what that was like in the past.
Oh, so good... Steven Tyler (aerosmith), and Slash (guns & roses) merge... very good sweetheart Bisscute. Love You ❤️. Thank You, be safe be well stay warm and humble.
Once again great song and great reaction, You asked for opinions on reacting to the studio version and I say definately yes . As a teenager of the 70s thats how we first heard it on the radio. Then everyone went out and bought the Album, (The actual Vinyl Album) But the best version of this song imo was from a live album called Aerosmith Live Bootleg. But hey it's such a classic why not give us a reaction to both versions if you would? Keep up the good work and as always keep it cute.
Steven Victor Tallarico is a songwriter and musician from the United States who is usually called Steven Tyler. He is also the lead vocalist of the rock band Aerosmith. Steven Tyler is the vocalist of the rock band Aerosmith from the United States, Great and enjoy beautiful Bisscute 👍😊
It's unfortunate that Slash didn't use his "Joe Perry replica" in this performance. Joe Perry, the guitarist of Aerosmith, sold his Les Paul guitar during some down days of his, which coincidentally Slash purchased the exact guitar from a pawn shop, and he even featured that guitar in the November Rain music video. Slash eventually gave that guitar back to Joe at his 50th birthday, but since Gibson issued a limited series of replicas of Joe's les paul, Slash later bought one to keep in his collection.
True to that. I have that one on repeat from time to time. Don't forget Tommy Lee and Scott Ian (and Gilby Clarke if you will). Basically 5 legends on the same stage (sorry Gilby 🤣). The energy coming off of that performance is crazy. That's why 'the old days' are considered 'better'. Prime example of a no nonsense no faking around and no phones mindblowing live performance/experience.
If I had to make a list of all time favorite songs, this is definitely in my top 5. I absolutely love this performance and having Slash there was amazing. The original is definitely worth checking out and I also recommend Voiceplay's cover of this song. It gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Awesome reaction Biss ❤️🔥🤘🎸
This is one of those songs with a big surprise moment in it. Most people who listen think, Yeah, pretty good rock song. Then Steven Tyler does that vocal jump to those high screams, and it’s up to another level. But that’s what makes it a great song to do a first reaction to- the big vocal OMG moment.
In 1988 I think it was a saw Gun's and Rose's open for Aerosmith. I only went because I was a huge Gun's and Rose's fan and Aerosmith totally blew them away and made me a fan. Axl as young as he was had to take breaks between literally every song. Steven Tyler can still scream them notes out.
@vito andrade I agree they are all clean and sober now but Axl Rose is the only original member. Axl has always been the main problem. Dude is an incredible rock star, but he has an incredible rock star attitude. If the original band could ever got back together for a tour it would be the biggest ever!!
@@BisscuteReacts Haha, I said amazing, you said amazing... are we subconsciously thinking of that Aerosmith song, "Amazing"? 😛 Well, either way, YOU are amazing with your reactions! Always entertaining and so full of enthusiasm!
Two legends together, guaranteed shivers, I love the album Permanent vacation, , suggestion, a small reaction on a video of this album, Angel for example 🙏
A very great song. You should definetley react to the original and mny more aerosmith songs as well. Steven Tyler's voice got better as he got older and he still delivers a really good performance today.
there were so many great performances at howard's birthday bash. and they put so much work into the sound-checks to get that hall sounding incredible. you should really check out Jewel's 'silver nickels and golden dimes' from this show. howard wrote the song when he was young, and jewel kills it.
Brilliant reaction. I appreciate you making it. - Another record/ video you might review of Aerosmiths is ‘Janie’s got a gun’. It is not as capricious as ‘Dream On’. Which is a great record, and likely older than your audience.
'Dream on' was on Aerosmith's first album released in 1973... Steven Tyler said he wrote the song on piano and the lyrics were about his dreams of making it as a successful musician (He spent years as a local musician in the Boston scene since the late 60's)... Little did Tyler know the rollercoaster that Aerosmith was going to become in the coming decades... Although 'Dream on' was not a hit initially, Aerosmith broke big in 1975/ '76 and the single was re-released and became a huge single. Slash was a huge Aerosmith fan growing up... and his idol was guitarist Joe Perry of Aerosmith. Eventually, Slash became the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses in 1986 and became one of the most iconic rock guitarists in history... he even played w/ the legends - Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar, Ozzy Osbourne, etc. Train is a melodic pop rock band from California, formed in 2003... they are known for the big hit single 'Drops of Jupiter'.
Great reaction. Here is a suggestion - Mama Kin. It is originally by Aerosmith. GnR did a cover for Mama Kin, and Steven Tyler joined GnR on stage at one point in time, for an awesome collaboration 😍🤩
