- The August 2024 visa bulletin was published it does not bring a lot of news for the categories EB2 NIW (national interest waiver) and EB1 (Extraordinary Ability). In this video we cover that and also a historical backlog analysis of India EB1, China EB1, and Rest of World EB-2.

Hi sir In 2010, my grandfather applied a case for my mother (our family) in usa and it was approved in 2016 and it is at the Visa Center. Can you give me information on how much time it will take? it take alomlst 13 year in 2019 uscis send it to nVs

Hi Oscar thanks for the video. Table A (15MAR2023) and Table B (22MAR2023) are almost equal in terms of date. Does it imply that your Excel plot predictions will be the same for Table A and Table B? So people under table B will not have any advantage compared with Table A, when they have to follow Table B instead of Table A.
Hi Edgar, first of all my plots are not predictions, they are just the historical data. I don't try to predict. Second, if they two tables are close enough yes, but typically B is more beneficial, from a few weeks to a few months depending on the moment.
@OscarsGreenCard How long is NVC taking to communicate Applicant's after their PD becomes current? I came current in July, no comms as yet from NVC neither the CEAC is active to uploading civil docs. Very confusing!😢
For NIW you don't upload documents to CEAC; you submit them by mail following the instructions they give you. Until you don't pay fees, submit DS-260 and submit documents, they won't call you. And depending on the consulate/embassy it can take many months

@@OscarsGreenCard sent on email, but received a not accepted email back. The email I received back says my case is not enrolled in the electronic application category; and hence not legible to send civil docs by email, and asks to follow the instruction from NVC. But, NVC did not share any comms on how to send civil docs. Very very confusing.
@@tilksewa.kelemu4407 you need to mail them, not email them. The address is both in the welcome letter and inside the CEAC portal

PD is always the date you submitted and USCIS received the package

Hey Oscar, can I file for advance parole even though my priority date is not current?
To file for advance parole / travel doc you need to be able to file I-485
It seems that for eb-2 it is moving month to month for india but stopped completely for the rest of the world. Is there a reason for this?
the reason is always demand and visa availability
Do you think India can reach December 2022 PD for EB1 this year?
Nobody knows, we can only hope. We will see as new visa bulletins are released

If you think you qualify, yes, but EB1A is a high standard to meet.

Thanks Oscar. I have been wailing for being current/EB2/outside US. Final action date is so closed to my PD=March/27/2023 and DQ=Nov 2023, but since I am Iranian, possibly will be stopped by travel ban in Jan 2025 if D. Trump gets elected.
fingers crossed for your becoming current soon. As per Trump, we won't know until (if) it happens

You'll be good to go this fiscal, I think. Statistically, EB2 ROW moves forward roughly 60 days every quarter this year.
@@silverscrew Thanks, only one month remains from FY2024 so will see. it moved forward in Jun by 2 months indeed.
@zahraaliakbartehrani795 my guesstimate is that we won't see any movement in ROW in the September 2024 VB also. However, there will be a good (min 60 day) advancement in the October 2024 VB.
Has anyone added EB2 visas from the monthly immigrant visa issuance report by chargeability area located at the USCIS website. I have added EB2 visas issued from Oct-23 to May 24, and the numbers add up to 7904 visas. It's an awfully law number given that eight month in the year have already passed. Even if we extrapolate this number to the entire year we'll get 12 thousand visas, which is still less that half of the quota. My question is why is this number so low? Does the number reported under this category also contain petitioners' family members?
As far as I know there is no monthly report from USCIS. There is a report from State and that is for visas issued abroad only. Fom USCIS data, last year they approved more than 80K I-140s, which is a very high number as I-140 only includes the principal applicant and not the family members.

For EB2 it's not possible to apply concurrently today based on the visa bulletin. For EB1 it is possible . The median processing time is around 4 months now.
Can someone having M.Phil Zoology degree but no experience apply for eb2 niw
Without any experience it may be a tough case
