@@zer00rdie TDR bluescreens are not an AMD exclusive problem. Yes, faulty hardware may in some cases be the reason but it's often just down to game optimization which, as an AMD user, sucks because it still makes sense for devs to focus their optimization efforts on nvidia cards

And your medkits would heal 15,200 health (Rejuvenation Rack included) wich wouldn't even heal you to full because out of your 100,000+ health, 97,021 of it is shields wich can only be healed by not getting hit for 7 seconds then waiting another 2 seconds for them to fully regen giving a temporary 'health' regen of 48,510 per second. I'm pretty sure I've heard of people persisting through the same run for so long that monsters literally no longer spawn and you wander a dead world for eternity. Idk if that was just something that only happened in older versions of the game tho
I think because I stayed on stage 1 I circumvented that. The longest run I could find is 18 hours, but if went any longer on that stage, the game would have crashed.
I'm going to try not to get too out into the weeds with this explanation, but also actually explain what happened. Basically, the systems in the game that spawn enemies get a certain amount of currency (some over time and some instantly), and they spend the currency on enemies, with your basic beetles being one of the cheapest while champions and bosses costing more. To keep the game from just throwing a pack of basic beetles at you hours into a run, the spawning algorithms can't spend the currency on things that are 'too cheap'. Meanwhile, the rate at which these systems gain money increased as the game went on. That was the crux of the problem, eventually those algorithms would have so much money that even packs of high tier bosses would be 'too cheap', thus nothing gets spawned at all! To fix this, the devs simply implemented another rule that said "is it the most expensive thing you can buy?", and now it works.
Platius Cyndar damage enemies from falling from height. They weren’t good. You couldn’t control the time they damaged, they just damaged. You needed 2 feathers to deal not much damage.
FYI Artifact of Swarms and Artifact of Sacrifice don't combine, the Sacrifice items are based off of exp from monster in the game to drop items, while Swarms actually will half the exp as well. This makes the drops in the game consistent to a degree, you can actually test this with the amount of gold you can get from each mob with and without Swarms if I remember. Great Vid!
Another thing on your comment about your guess on what would lag you more monsters vs items, the game has a set limit or score that is calculated based off the time this score dictates what can and can't spawn and how power of a spawn it will be. That is why when you got around two hours in bosses started appearing when normally that would be spawning in sooner with the stage progression pushing the time faster. It's a pretty good way to cull of most of the lag that could happen with all the calculations and the entities. :D
the item chance for monsters has a minimum at either 2.5% or 5% I can't remember. so yeah it reduces the spawn chance from the bigger enemies but wisps will be doubled and still have the same minimum item chance so swarm actually DOES increase the number of items you get, just by whatever percentage of your monster spawns are wisps, instead of just straight up doubling item count.
Man this whole video is so sick and interesting, loved all 12+ minutes of it! The editing was also great and I love that you listed all the items you got in this experiment! Also more than 40000 kills! Amazing :)
@@DisputedOrigin Any tips for somebody crazy enough to try this? Would using the Enigma artifact stop active equipment from spawning, and help the lag a lot? Haven't unlocked that one myself yet, but my assumption was that you'd be stuck with whatever you got and couldn't change it.

Iirc the artifact of swarms halves the chance of a monster dropping an item. While it doesn't double the chance of dropping an item it does help. The chance of a monster dropping an item is different for each monster and there is a minimum value for this chance. For weak enemies like wisps and beetles that are already close to the minimum, the halving won't have much of an effect on their chance to drop an item, and having more of those enemies would increase your chances of getting items. Adding artifact of kin would probably help because it would make it more likely that you get enemies that allow you to abuse the minimum drop chance.
I'm not sure, I thought about adding it but I believe boss monsters have the highest chance to drop an item. Around hour 6 most monsters were bosses and greater wisps, I don't think the artifact of kin lets boss monsters spawn, so I think it probably would have hurt me in the long run.
@@DisputedOrigin I suppose you'd want whatever has the highest ratio of item drop chance to director credit cost if you really wanted to min/max it. I'm not sure where bosses and elite monsters fall on that scale

Damn, I can't imagine how exhausting experience it should have been, 8 hours per day for 3 days on stage 1 😭 You're a legend mate, well done and congrats for the world record, 1000% deserved
You should've activated the teleporter sooner, enemies spawn faster during the event. Just stay outside of the zone and it will never end. Also as a subnote: Using certain locations on the starting maps you can spawn enemies as an Engineer and go for even longer. With enough speed ups you can even clip into some terrain and be effectively invincible.
nah, Teleporter monsters have a lower drop rate, and it would be super risky, especially if items dropped in the zone, it would take a while to pick them up.
I saw the thumbnail and was a little inspired to go at it myself but I got bored in a hour in but still was fun cuz I decided to go though the run while I have so much loot and I was able to loop twice and beat the scavenger in the moment whole. So thanks my dude

Amazing. I had done something similar to this before the artifacts update, and constantly looping instead of staying in one place. I had gone over 50 stages I think? And what stopped me was the gilded coast secret stage. I had looped so much that the chests were in integer overflow and so was the aurelionite, so none of my attacks did any damage to him. Luckily, I had so much sustain that I was also not taking barely any damage, but this just left me soft locked as I had no way to beat him or leave the stage :/ 100% would spend another 7-8 hours looping again lol

It's cool how the ratio of item rarities you got very closely matches the actual drop rates
The Mr. Beast of Risk of Rain.
It's a good video idea man. I'm new to the risk of rain series so it's cool to see stuff like this
Ok bro but imagine
Imagine the high you'd get from drinking 173 energy drinks in 24 hrs
That probably means death
10 5 hour energy's for 50 continuous hours of energy
I remember watching this the month it came out, I'm happy you grew so much since then grandpa
I was recommended this after I was recommended a spongebob meme video about cock and ball torture. Not sure about what youtube thinks of my search preferences....
I enjoyed this video much more than I thought I would. Quality content, keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed it.
I’m gonna do this wish me luck
No you didn't
@@breadtm1044 right I tried but then I was lagging so bad 3 hours in
Literally never even heard of this game but watched this.
I love this game and this seems really cool and impressive you've earned yourself a subscribe
Also if I may ask why so many crit goggles?
Out of the over 5000 items items that dropped over the course of the game, you're questioning why there's 158 Lens Maker's Glasses? What???
You never know when your gonna need 1580% crit chance
Damn, I can't imagine how exhausting experience it should have been, 8 hours per day for 3 days on stage 1 😭
You're a legend mate, well done and congrats for the world record, 1000% deserved
still not sure if it's a record, but nobody has really challenged me
You should've activated the teleporter sooner, enemies spawn faster during the event.
Wow a lot has changed in 2 years for risk of rain
Really good content. I actually really enjoy your dry humor. I look forward to more content!
thanks dude, glad you enjoyed
Man, it's really gonna make someone's day at Hopoo when they see that their game survived this. Incredible engineering.
yeah, I was really surprised for a game made in unity
I saw the thumbnail and was a little inspired to go at it myself but I got bored in a hour in but still was fun cuz I decided to go though the run while I have so much loot and I was able to loop twice and beat the scavenger in the moment whole. So thanks my dude
I always see the videos and thought they were crazy, now this, this is pushing it to its full potential. Imma buy this game, thanks to you good sir.
do you like it?
I like the honesty man. Keep up the good work.
Props to your PC for handling that gargantuan amount of items on screen without melting its insides.

N'kuhana's opinion = en-kuhana's opinion
yes I have to be that guy :)
This is actually so beautiful. You're my real life hero.
Thanks for watching, you're beautiful
I really liked how you wraped everything up and didnt just show the whole 24 hours
Thats a sub from me, also say you sound robotic but I like how clear we can understand you
Great video! Loved your story telling!
I don't understand how you didn't go insane, but it was really neat seeing all your discoveries out of boredom.
Thanks
I'm dead bored after 220 minutes. Everything just dies instantly and you're invincible. I am amazed you spent 6.5X that.
I have the uncanny ability to shut my brain off and become a drone. It's a blessing and a curse.
Dude that is sheer commitment and dedacation. I saw a comment down below that said they liked the editing style and I would have to agree. This was a really well-made video so when I looked at your subscribers and saw 43 I had a heart attack. Hope that you get the subscribers that you deserve nice video!
Thanks dude, I actually contemplated not posting it because I didn't think people would like it, but I guess I was wrong. I appreciate it, thank you.
The artifact of sacrifice challenge room, freezes the clock. It’s really fun as engineer
You sound exactly like a person who spent 24 hours on stage 1. This fits perfectly with a video, keep up the good work!
Really nice video, you *definitely* deserve more subscribers! ^.^
Thank you so much, I really appreciate you watching.
Yo I'd say for the type of video it is, you struck a pretty good balance between little comedic tidbits and straight up info, I definitely enjoyed the whole thing. I hear what you're saying but don't commit to either, just figure out how to do both! Just a matter of continuing to develop your style at this point. Nice job!
Great video! Keep up the good work, I really enjoyed it
Bruh, your channel is so underrated
good video!
thank you, it means alot
Thanks UA-cam algorithm for the wonderful suggestion. This is a great video. Mad props to spending that much time on one run
I enjoyed this video a lot as a new player to this game. Great work !
local man drinks 173 cans of redbull and destroys the entire planet
Eventually origin stopped thinking.
This video is seriously awesome and some of your little comments had me dying laughing, very entertaining you earned my sub haha
Dude this video introduced me to ror2. I'm still a beginner though but the game is so fun, thank you!
You got a giggle out of me man can't wait to see more
"my frames are dropping" -guy who picked up all of the lag items, including desk plant
