no because the moment noah addressed trans kids i started crying then he continued the sentence and now im sobbing so thank you noah you are very big brotherly
You have been groomed by internet communities. You have a decision. You can choose to continue down this path towards self-mutilation, or you can choose to save yourself and be content with the body you were given.
@@MadeAnAccountOnlyToReplyToThis"self mutilation" ok karen

I always tell people, particularly gay men that you're not transphobic for not wanting to sleep with trans man, the transphobic part is it usually follows up wit you're delusional and I like real men etc. That's the transphobic part lol. Its why it's ridiculous when they try to call me bi when I say I'm attracted to trans men too even when I straight up have zero attraction to cis women.
you are my hope for humanity
Too bad there are many individuals thst say otherwise and abuse the word "transphobe".
I think it causes many people who are truly transphobic to have a free out of jail card: "People call everyone a transphobe!!!"
am i transphobic for only liking trans men, not cis men? i always get mixed opinions on this :/
@@planetaryg0 need more info about you to know for sure lol.
@@planetaryg0 if you don't consider trans men real men or it's not just about genital preference, yeah
I had surgery for my tumor, which has left me with a traumatic 5 week hospital stay and a long term (mild) disability. I regret it but nobody freaks out when learning about what happened to me and tries to ban the surgery, rightly so because I was on the unlucky/mistake side, not the majority when it comes to outcome
I think the issue largely comes when talk of surgery being offered to people under the age of 18 and the certain level of mental gymnastics that can occur with people when they defend it. I've seen people asked about tattoos and say that a 12 year old can't consent because it's permanent and they can't make informed decisions at that age immediately about face when asked about reassignment surgery, and their tune immediately changes to that of 12 year olds suddenly knowing their own bodies and being able to make a far more life changing decision... but not enough for a tattoo though? When people see that sort of hypocritical reaction it immediately makes the whole thing seem very shady and underhand.
As far as I'm concerned, if you are of an age of informed consent you can have a unicorn horn fused to your skull for all I care, you do you. But anyway, hope your recovery is swift bud.
@@nervesconcord I was 16 when I had my surgery and still, nobody ever questioned the choice. But I understand your point about hypocrisy. I do believe that 12 year-olds shouldn't get surgery (or tattoos). I also believe it's not something that happens. At 16? I've heard of some, absolutely. At 12, most trans kids would receive therapy and maybe puberty blockers, which are reversible as far as we know.
On another note, thanks for being polite in your response! Sounds dumb to acknowledge it, but the amount of times people throw insults is way to high.
@@Castkett4ever I can say the exact same thing around being polite tbh, it seems people can't have calm and informed discussion around sensitive subjects any more; unless you immediately fall in lockstep with their view you're a bigotoraceophobopile. I hate goddamn thought tribalism.
I think the main thing with the age part is the statistic that a lot of people under the age of 18 who think they might be trans actually, and without any sort of interventions, realise themselves that they're just homosexual and the dysphoric stage was a part of their process in coming to terms with their sexuality. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone, yourself apparently included, but the problem is finding where to draw a necessary firm line on an issue where either way you might end up catching some people on the wrong side of it; either trans people who wish for more permanent measures to make themselves comfortable being denied until an arbitrary point, or homosexual people who might in turn be railroaded down a path where given enough time they would realise that it wasn't a path they actually wanted to go down, and after a severely stunted puberty or surgery it's already far too late.
Honestly I feel the correct answer is one that should be undertaken personally. I have two tattoos, each of them I spent 6 months thinking about, constantly asking myself whether I was certain I wanted them, the design, the image, whether I would regret them etc. In doing this I actually did change my mind on one because I gave myself long enough to think, and I think in cases like reassignment, a similar approach should be taken by both the individual and their medical professionals before any sort of treatments are applied. For the latter, rather than being seen (as they often are and as a result of which being less inclined to do so) like they are trying to dissuade trans people from undergoing reassignment, but instead because they are doing so out of care for those individuals who in fact are just going through a stage of them realising themselves. Of course, this won't do anything to prevent parents declaring their 4 year old is trans because they picked up a doll once or they prefer cars over princesses, but it's certainly an approach that could be applied at the sharpest end of the discussion.
Ain't it fun when we can all just chat and get along lol
@@nervesconcord Figuring yourself, whether it is sexuality or gender, is difficult no matter how old one is. I agree that parents shouldn't label their kids as trans because they like something that is stereotypically not for their gender. If a boy likes dolls, it doesn't mean he is trans. From what I've seen, so I am not stating this as a fact, it's not the majority of parents who do think like that; which is reassuring.
Surgery, whether it's for a tumor, like my case, or GRS, or anything else, should not be done without a lot of thinking (what are the pros and cons, ...) and without giving it time to reflect, just like you did for your tattoos. I think that the topic is simply not a white and black situation and should be taken case by case, with a baseline of not doing surgery under a certain age. It's a complicated topic that will always have people disagreeing, no matter how things are done.
I'm a trans woman and your videos give a very good expleations to cisgender people to understand us trans people. I learned a lot as well a long the time about the transition opposite of mine works from your videos.

But how do I tell?? Because it obviously feels so disrespectful asking someone.
It's not transphobic after the surgery either

I would have continued convincing myself I was just imagining it and it was normal to question yourself if these videos didn’t exist as well as other people in my life
So thank you

@@p-__ Erm... What the scallop!!!
About detransitioning: I think what needs to happen is to have more research about detransitioners, especially their reasons for transitioning in the first place (and maybe also how they came to the decision to detransition). As far as I‘m aware there are some fairly common issues that make people believe they are trans when they are not and these should be standard things to be checked if someone wants to transition.
We also should make our society more accepting of both being „gender nonconforming“ without thinking they must be gay or trans, and of experimenting with your gender identity and being able to transition socially without being judged for doing so and without being judged if you realized it isn’t for you. I believe social transition is the best way to determine if someone is really trans, because they can try it and if it isn’t right, they can just go back no harm done.
The last thing is more therapy!! No matter if someone is trans or not or thinks they are, making therapy more accessible and treating issues if there are any goes a long way in general, but in the case of someone thinking they are trans, taking care of any other issues will either make them realize they aren’t actually trans, or it might rule out some sources of confusion.
This all would make (potential) detrans peoples lives, trans peoples lives and basically everyones lives better! Why can’t we just all agree on that instead of going against each other?
most people never realize that racism and transphobia etc is natural. a kid who has had no experience with black or asian people will naturally look at them weird. you can't fix that. what you can do is try to introduce the foreign person the same way as a non foreign person. most trans people hate detrans because it comepletely breaks the idea that you know if you're trans or not. they just need introduced as normal people.
also, the idea that you know you're trans from birth is crazy. trans ideas develop from experiences and preferences, not genetics or other crazy voodoo stuff.
Weird tangent but my mother had breast reduction surgery last month for chronic pain and the whole time I couldn’t help thinking “now why is this acceptable but trans top surgery isn’t as much?”
lol that clock will haunt me forever
15:06 I’m totally gay. As in women do literally nothing for me. But I have ‘been’ with a trans-guy who hadn’t had btm surgery, and I would again. Thing is even though his bits were different to mine, i still saw him as a man. If i didn’t I don’t think I would have gone all the way. It was one of the hottest encounters I’ve ever had.
as a lesbian I thank you for calling me a double girl!
Saying you’re transphobic is like saying you’re sexist for not wanting to date women 😃 it’s okay to have preferences and you don’t need to date people you don’t want to date!
My farts are better than Noah’s farts 💨
There's a difference between preferences (only wanting to date men, for example) and just not wanting to date someone solely because they're trans. Hope that helps
I’m a trans person, I’m grey-aroace and I would honestly prefer dating a cis person if at all. Like you said, it’s a preference, it doesn’t make you transphobic :)
@@ArAsDeCosI think they meant sexual preference
@@ArAsDeCos it’s generally a sexual preference as opposed to not seeing trans women/men as women/men. And other aspects are also just preferences, you might not want to date a guy (cis or not) with a high voice, and same with a woman with a deep voice (cis or not) both of which can happen when you’re not trans. (I am trans btw)
The being able to spot trans people as a trans person is so real. I had a dentist appt at a new place and the second I saw the nurse that was getting me set up and everything I was like 'that's a trans man if I've ever seen one' I was also wearing my pronoun pins that day and he asked me if I started transitioning yet and how that was going for me, and how testosterone changed his life. And in my head I was like ha I knew it

❤❤ I love the trans kid part. I’m 15, almost 16, and my grandparents said they can’t mentally handle me medically transitioning. But I feel so unsafe and uncomfortable in my body, of course I haven’t voiced this out because I’m scared of ruining everything as it is right now. Going to crack soon though, I was in a horrible spot a few days ago when I was on my period. Dissociated a lot and seriously wanted to just die. Silly guy feelings!!
please, don't medically transition until you think it is absolutely sure. try finding someone you can trust and just make friends. if you have an lds church in your area try going there (they are really nice). find something you love doing and commit yourself to it. surgery doesn't fill the emptiness permanently.
@@danielthecake8617 I will not take this negatively though I feel like on my side I must argue, I have things that make me happy and at peace, it’s my body that ruins it; gender affirming care would just be my knee surgery to a broken knee (if you get that reference). So, I do not feel empty in side, I have people I love and that love me, I go to therapy and actually my mental health is getting better. But my thoughts, and brain, has never changed about feeling unsafe and uncomfortable in my body and certain aspects of the biological sex I was born into.

It just gets so terrifying having a body
the real transphobia surrounding dating is the gatekeeping towards straight and gay/lesbian individuals who date trans people. if a gay man likes me then hes still gay and it others me when people go 'no hes straight' or 'hes bi'
but also the intersection of transphobia and biphobia where people will be homophobic towards me no matter who i date because im trans is so annoying.
MORAL OF THE STORY dont gatekeep sexuality because its a nuanced experience and call yourself what you want and date who you want

Im an Irish dancer and there is a young (like 8 or 9 years old) trans boy who is a few levels below me and it shocked me how much the dance school calmly told us. The younger kids reactions though were adorable… they were like “well thats okay because i wear clothes from the boys section! Thats nothing to be ashamed about!” Or “yeah i get it! Sometimes you just don’t like your name.” And everyone (well almost) was so understanding and it was just so wholesome ❤
the fact a 9 year old was allowed to make such a big decision is very concerning.

My farts are better than Noah’s farts 💨
I’m a trans guy, I’ve known since I was younger that I wasn’t a girl, I didn’t know I was a boy, but I knew I just wasn’t a girl. It got waaaay worse once puberty hit, before that I had always just thought of myself as a tomboy with long hair. Now that I’m transitioned, (not medically yet sadly,) I feel so much happier with myself. But when I look at old photos of myself, I feel almost guilty. Like, I want what I had back. I think it’s more so the fact that girls are typically much less homophobic and sexist, but as a cis passing guy (most of the time) I have to worry about my voice, since I can’t use T, can’t have a binder so I have to make sure all of my undershirts aren’t showing, etc. but damn when I put on makeup I really start questioning everything again 🥲
Sometimes, your orientation can feel like it's changing when you start to transition, not only because your point of reference is changing but also because you might discover new things about yourself. I'm aroace myself, but I'm open to the possibility I might be abrosexual and T4T. Though I'm not in any hurry to rush into that.
My farts are better than Noah’s farts 💨
I wanna share this for others who may be like me: I'm FTM and asexual. I've been on T briefly but unfortunately had to stop bc I couldn't afford it anymore (and I'm DYING to get back on it).
Before I went on T, I was confused about my sexuality because I found myself 'attracted' to people, but really didn't have much interest in actually *doing* anything sexual with anybody, ever. And then after I went on T, the little bit of sexual attraction I felt completely disappeared and my sex drive actually tanked down to zero. It's because of this brief stint on T that I know very well that I'm Ace and have no interest in sex as a concept (at least, not with other people).
So just so you know, it is possible for the inverse to happen. Not everyone's sex drives goes up on hormones. Mine competely disappeared, but then came back when I stopped. And I predict that when I go back on T, it'll tank again.
My farts are better than Noah’s farts 💨
Fellow ace trans guy! I’m biromantic and have been on T for almost 6 months now, sex drive isn’t a thing for me either lmao. Like I said, biromantic, so I am attracted to people it’s just purely romantic and not sexual. Being more comfortable with myself and my body has made me more confident in my identity as well. Before coming out and being accepted I thought I was straight, which is very much not the case lmao. For some reason I thought being straight made me more of a man I guess? (Big screw you to society for that ideology btw) After coming out, but still before getting on T, I realized that yeah, men are hot, I just didn’t have the confidence to accept that about myself (also friendly reminder that you can identify as bi and be attracted to men, women, and people with nonbinary identities).

I’m a lesbian and I don’t actually think I’d mind dating a trans woman since I’d likely not agree to interacting with anyone’s parts full stop anyways. I’m not interested in sex with other people I’ve only ever been interested in a romantic relationship. Not sure if I’ll always feel this way with relationships but yeah.
I know how frustrating it can be to talk to your Dr about medications. I've been on so many different pills for my diagnosis over the years. My condition fluctuates too. It's not hormones but it is life saving. It feels like everything changes often. Just when it's going well there's a side effect that needs to be treated with more medications or a switch to something else. I know how that feels. It's very frustrating!😢
saying you dont want to date a trans woman or trans man isn't transphobic. its just saying that 'i want to have bio kids'. wanting to birth and raise a family together isnt transphobic.
- a trans guy.
As another trans guy, I agree. Everyone has a genital preference, and that's totally fine. Or, like you said, they may want to have their own children one day. Even if the trans individual did get bottom surgery, it's still fine if someone doesn't want to date a trans person as long as they're respectful and don't invalidate their gender.
It really depends. Are they saying that because the person is trans or is it actually just a preference?
THE CLOCK JUMPSCARE MADE ME FUCKING CRY 😭👍
Thank you, Noah!
Your content helped me realize I'm non-binary.
Your take on trans-related themes got through my thick layer of denial - I always thought I am a straight gal cause I am attracted to my man (demi 😅) ... how wrong I was.
I love to be on a journey to myself!
Keep going!
To whoever edits your videos:
WHY ARE YOU SO FRICKING HILARIOUS?!??!?
Ugh, I totally understand the gel vs nebido thing, I've been on Androgen for 4+ years, still can't switch to nebido because I'm underweight, but my levels are fluctuating all the time, it's difficult to get accurate blood test results with gel, and I genuinely just forget to put it on sometimes...
Before I keep watching the video, I want to take a moment to reflect on UA-cam advertisement choice for this video: that was a website for that apparently creates a wedding speech for you...That was super odd...had never seen that ad before...what does it want from me?!!😅🤣😅
Another advertisement stopping the video...about an investment workshop/course and the guy in the video talking about saving money for my family life.....these ads...I think are so extra odd for this video...Anyone else got weird ads on here???
about changing name legally. where i live, when i wanted to change my name, it costed 50€. (i did not have the money) when i had the money, it costed 60€. i paid 60€ and a shit ton of mental distress because paying is not enough, you also have to navigate the insanely difficult online form to apply to change name, you have to basically traumadump on the application to justify your name change that you are PAYING for… then you have to wait months and go to the office where its rly hard to reserve appointments at and do everything there and then wait months and then you might be allowed a name change.. also now it costs 95€ FOR NO REASON other than the far right government.. inflation did not do that in a few months… like bruhhh….. now my they cant afford to get THEIR OWN NAME. LIKE?!??:?:?;!€;€!?;€;€;
AHH release date for your album being the same as Adriana grandes is honestly iconic haha. Which one are y'all listening to first?
