I’ve had one for a few years now, and the earlier models before. Honestly it’s up there with one of my best tools ever purchased and if I forget to put it in my pocket, feel naked without it. I’d highly recommend it too 👍

Milwaukee ftw. I used to be a dewalt guy but switched to milwaukee a few years ago now. I myself just find the quality a lot better than most brands on the market.

The name gut hook comes from similar designs used by hunters for gutting animals. You can put a small knick in the animals abdomen and then use the protected blade to open up the gut cavity without risk of slicing into intestines and contaminating the carcass. Not terribly useful on this sort of knife.
I have a similar one to this made by Bosch but it can't be opened one handed, which I find irritating. Thanks for the review bud, have a good 2023!
Cheers for the info mate. Yeah I've also got the bosch knife. It's a good knife but like you say it would be better if you could open it with 1 hand 👍
