Bathroom Renovation Is Finally Finished
Переглядів 1154 місяці тому
Wow this one really put me to the test having never done anything like this before. Everything I've done in this bathroom has been a 1st for me and trying to figure it all out as I've worked my way through it has been challenging. That being said I have learnt a lot from doing it myself and I couldn't be happier with the results. Hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching 👍

For a budget plunge saw this thing definitely impressed me. It does exactly what you want from a track saw and for the price I don't think you can beat it. Building A Beginner's Plumbing Toolbox Set With ShadowFoam
I have a ton of sand by me. It is a very fine sand and tracks all over the place.
You need a tripod
I've got a similar washer to yours the k4. I've had the same part leaking on mine which I have replaced but when putting it back together again and just turning the water feed on its OK for a brief second and then it's like the elbow has come off the part that it was pushed on to which connects to the pressure cable. I can't seem to figure out what it is that I'm not correctly
If you use play sand....i always heat the sand in a fire...strain the sand...works perfectly...i made a blaster useing a air gun, and a 20 oz soda bottle...works great...cost is 5 bucks
I need a video on the hose etc - what is it connected to?
Intro too long!
Cheers
It looks just like our Craftsman (in the states), just with slight differences, ours has ball bearings sliders, but the badge placement and style and color and bar lock, I like to use the black rubber liners, it really makes it nice and quiet with no tools sliding around.

Hi mate what size shadow foam did you buy for this box thanks
@@danielmoran1840 I used some 30mm off cuts a had left over from another project 👍
I bought this sander after watching this video. I'm pleasantly surprised. It matched or exceeded my expectations in all areas.
Finally, I find a vid of yours for a tool I have already purchased recently, and then I see this first time use and review is over a year ago, D’oh!… 🤷🏼♂️ 😂
Is this tool any use for nuts and bolts?
@@jamescattanach1129 it could possibly be ok for small stuff up to 8mm
Awesome video mate don’t suppose you could say where your trolley came from
@@ltmusic1988 cheers pal. I got the trolley from ebay👍
Thank you I’ll have a look out for one
Hi Karl, enjoyed the video, I've got one of these Ryobi ergo kits coming today apparently it takes up to 3 hours to fully charge ,does the green charging led on the handle flash while charging and steady when full ,I have an older 3.7 volt ryobi screwdriver that just keeps flashing after long charges maybe a fault, but difficult to tell if fully charged. Thanks. Bob. sheffield.

Hi is this the same as Saab 9.3 please ? Mine is a 05 Saab 9.3 Aero - have coated everything liberally with Waxoyl- going to do inside with Bilt Hamber cavity wax 🙏
@@guitarlover302 I believe the vectra b shears a lot of stuff with saab so it could be the same but I'm not 100% sure
Thanks for the video same process with makita 18v but at least you don't have to take those apart. Ive got a Ryobi thets charged across the cells showing 18.5V but on the output less than 1V so the control board is stopping output. Any ideas to reset it ?
move the bloody set of screwdrivers somewhere else so you can have more room to work, Be organised.
Very good, thankyou. I've got one, not tried it yet. Have you been able to blow the 13 amp fuse on full power?
Good video
Well done. That is the best technique I have seen. I had previously got one of two batteries going again using a similar technique except I was using a car charger and may have cooked one of them. Using another ryobi battery is a much better idea.
Your plane ranked #5 out of 26 planes that were tested - ua-cam.com/video/kawsdoqPnhI/v-deo.html would you still buy it today is the question?
misleading. I ended up takinig mine back because the LHS of the wire to be stripped did not stay put during the process and slid through the LH jaw despite operating the wire stripper precisely as demonstrated on this and other videos. After taking them back to the retail outlet they agreed and swopped over for another pair which did precisely the same thing. The customer service lady and myself eventually worked out it was only by putting your thumb on the left hand edge would they work as demonstrated. Once mastered it did what it said. It may be that the latest production left hand jaws do not hold the wire in position while stripping. Very misleading and the instruction that came with them explained very little with no explanation of the circular dial in the centre. of the jaws
Karcher fixed. Thanks!
Wanted to order this BADLY but to exspensive to buy and ship across the pond
Great video! Helped me a lot in deciding whether to buy a set. Cheers!
I own a Triton 300xl its very similar ...They all seem to be the same the Jawhorses, there's no patent on this design, if you take off the rail, it fits perfectly on a different brand. The only thing that is different between the different models, is the brand name
Useless video
Did you find that the anti-splinter rubber made good close contact with the workpiece? I bought the Excel saw, which is the same Chinese saw but I suspect the Lumberjack model may have better quality guides. On mine the anti-splinter rubber does not make close contact with the workpiece so I'm going to replace it with a 3mm thick neoprene rubber strip. I think with a bit of fettling these cheap saws can do a fairly decent job. Excellent video thank you
Hey, I bought a faulty new 4Ah for £6, did this fix and it works as well as a £70 new battery!!
I did that on one battery and it worked a treat. Back to full performance. A miracle fix. But I have another where the charge light shows green but I cant get any output. Any suggestions?
Hasn't got enough pressure
Did you stop working on the GSI mate? Long time now...😅
@@Alecostauk I have for now because I need to finish renovating my house before I can get back on to car stuff. I've got 3 vectra estate's now and got some cool plans for them when I get the time👍
@@TheYorkshireMix good stuff mate. I still have my saloon GSI. On sorn though...
Yeah my gsi is and 1 of the others too. I'm using my cdx as a daily at the moment but thinking about getting the gsi back on the road again as its a lot more fun to drive 👍
@@TheYorkshireMix cool 😎
Helpful review. Have you managed to check for accuracy to see if it is within tolerance?
I put mine in the freezer for a couple minutes and it started to charge. Awesome, cause I didn't want to fuck around with lithium batteries. Much easier fix, try this first

Hard for gravity to work if the hole is vertical and not horizontal. Use it pointing straight not down or on a 10 to 20 degree angle
I'm glad you mentioned it's not available in America because I was very confused about not being able to find this 😂 thanks for sharing!
Thinking about purchasing a B&D Workmate. I came across your video and I'm now in 2 minds. Which would you suggest?
@@PeterMossUkulele I think it all depends on what you will be using it for. The workmate has a smaller footprint but it can't clamp anything that big so I find i use mine more like a portable table. As for the clamping station it is bigger but it will hold on to much bigger stuff like doors etc and you have the option to make attachments you can clamp in to it. I've also used mine to clamp my mitre saw on it and also my bandsaw. I would say the clamping station is the more useful option but like I say it does take up more space. Hope this helps 👍
