Is This The Coolest New Stadium In The World?
Вставка

- Los Angeles Football Club's new stadium, Banc of California Stadium, is the new gem of MLS. And LAFC's first ever match there (LAFC vs Seattle Sounders) had it all: Will Farrell, a falcon, a sellout crowd, and a stoppage time winner by Laurent Ciman. Relive the drama with members of the 3252 supporter section & COPA90's Heath Pearce in this epic experience, brought to you by Heineken.
COPA90 US is North America’s voice in the global soccer conversation. Is it in the US? Then 190% of all comments are gonna say no, even if the tickets came with a free beer and a foot rub from Lionel Messi.
All go for just the game how much you want for the footrub
no just because this is too familial.
As a Swansea fan, I cannot support LA FC with that manager
Their chants sound like Sounders chants. Fools need to be original
This just proves that futbol is rising in the US. Love!
hjalmiris I’m from America and I just started to follow it. Not really MLS more European football
Nick Saban you should get into mls
Eh very slowly. It will never be a top sport here though
@@conpop6924 it's not touching NFL or NBA anytime soon if ever but it can surpass Hockey and Baseball. Soccer is the most popular sports in the world by far and the money in it is insane, its only a matter of time before investments into MLS teams really start coming.
@@Modestasgailius no it isn't
It must be so awkward to make a new team with new players and fans
Not if there is an original team that has a fanbase they can build upon, in this case Chivas USA
Every team that's ever formed was at one point, a new team
As long as people can identify with a club, they will join and watch.
Yeah cause trendsetting is awkward. It's much easier to follow what you didn't invent
Elmo273 LOS ANGELES HAS A TRUE L.A TEAM NOW AND SOUTH CENTRAL IS ITS HOME BABY!
LETS GO BOYZ!!!!
Comment & share this video for a chance to win a new LAFC kit!
XD DX Unnecessary salt
XD DX Just wait until the U.S attains football culture and poors money athletes and European knowledge in the game, the U.S would dominate
Mary Perry you’ll need a lot of money to make the mls a half decent league, it’s funny how shit it is compared to Europe
XD DX well said
XD DX Only if the previous things were to happen, then they WILL dominate. Comparing U.S football to any world class team is simply unfair, it's the fifth most popular sport here, and if you want to play competitively you have to pay. The only people playing football on the streets are Hispanic immigrants.
Guys, if you knew how to read, you’d notice the key word: NEWWWWW
they don't.
lol so true
Leo Doyle for real lots of these fucking euro fans are delusional af sometimes. I mean I ain’t hating on them it’s cool they got passion for la liga and premier league and all, but I also feel sometimes they don’t want to admit MLS is getting hell of a lot better.
I ngl I rate the MLS for making a new image for themselves apart from being a retirement home, ngl I think that the CSL will be the same in 10 years
No matter how committed or sincere American fans seem, they always feel plastic
No matter how neutral Europeans fans seem, they always feel salty and jealous
Dragongst HAHAAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAH why the fuck would european fans be salty and jealous!??!? We literally have E V E R Y T H I N G and the MLS is absolutely nothing
evan *****THE PREMIER LEAGUE IS FULL OF PLASTIC FANS TBH. IT'S NOT A WORKING CLASS GAME ANYMORE. FULL OF MOUTHY MIDDLE CLASS WANKERS ATTEND GAMES THESE DAYS****
Thats just LA mate
Robin Hood .thank you for actually telling the truth.
Great to see football growing
Of course.
Beautiful stadium for Los Angeles FC
I love sports especially soccer but man super fans make me cringe Jesus waste your money on something better lol
Just went to my first LAFC game in section 3252 and the atmosphere is INSANE!! MLS is growing and LAFC has a quality team with a great coach. I'm officially a 3252 fan for life!! LA!!!!!! FC!!!!!!!
Great Job by Heath. This stadium is a must attend for a match. definitely gonna catch a game here. great location and great stadium. This team can overtake the Galaxy in terms of popularity!
Perfect location for this team! The colors, the ownership, the fans, good atmosphere! Right in the heart of LA South Central does is like nobody does! 🤟🏼
im moving from melbourne to LA, definitely nailed the stadium, many congrats, wish organisations followed suit.
@Kyle b there are a lot of aussies in SF now as well
Cringe and over-hyped fans.
#galaxy
That title makes me cringe
Without knowing which stadium is gonna be showed...
creekpete. Copa90 are shit they once called new york cosmos the first super team in history of football lol
it does say new lol
I got chills watching this. So exciting for soccer in the United States.
It’s only been two years ! LAFC made it to the 2020 CCL final vs Tigres ! Even if they lose it’s still an achievement 👏
León ✅
Cruz Azul ✅
Club América ✅
Although I've never been to a live match, just seeing videos, let's me know that the atmosphere @ majority of soccer ⚽ matches is surreal & unmatched. Closest in my mind would be college basketball & football.
Terrible attempt at saving the freekick
Pasquato Giordano Cibriani Garbanzo Totti just showes the level in retirement league
stian Nøkleby All keepers make mistakes .Look at Ulriech what he did in the Champions League semi final against Madrid ,De Gea did pretty much an identical mistake as the mls keeper a couple years back too
Why don't you go ahead a step between the sticks? It's sure as hell not as easy as you think
Manuel Paz true, but the problem is that that type of stuff happens in every mls game
@@Martlex_ it really doesn't
I’m a galaxy fan but more importantly a fan of the sport and I love to see this league growing as fast as it has been for the past couple of years. Hope this gets more kids into playing the game so we can hopefully have a great national team in the future.
It’s crazy to think that LAFC was born a big team. Not many clubs in football can say that
I think it's fantastic how the American fans are embracing soccer and their new team. I find all the ridicule and hate a bit sad. Live and let live, folks.
Best of luck to LAFC this season.
No, it’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium
That's an amazing stadium for sure
Even though it's a stadium made especially for football. American football that is
Okay? But the title just said Cool New Stadium. Never brought the idea of soccer and if we want to get technical about this being a soccer channel well then the Wanda Metropolitano is way better than LAFC. I live close to the LAFC stadium and its alright and nice to have around but feels very compressed with everything around it. Plus LA traffic is hell so driving to get there and getting out is no fun.
I think Mercedes-Benz stadium was best NEW stadium in 2017. I think that by "NEW" they mean 2018
Eduardo Morales it wasn’t just made for American football. It was a split agreement between the falcons and Atlanta United when it was built
I was there for the first time of the new team, it was lit 🔥
The coolest stadium is in Krasnodar, Russia. It is not because I'm russian, it is because Krasnodar's stadium and it's park are the coolest in the world.
All European team stadiums are 10x more ambient and better looking but alright
iReppo mmm yeah but hey its progress from us looking like a joke
jonathan vargas am a european fan but i agree, its good progress, we want MLS to be one of the most widely watched sports in 50 years
NICHOLAS WAMAANI no they dont. Every european thinks mls is a retirement league and is true.
A salty European maybe?
All European fans are salty af and show up on every MLS video to talk shit due to their inferiority complex.
Funny how some of these LAFC fans talk about LA Galaxy being in Carson (which is in Los Angeles county) but I bet you that there’s a good chunk of these fans that love UCLA, who play in Pasadena, and chances are will be at the new NFL stadium in Inglewood for Rams games. And also would still follow the Lakers and/or Kings if they still played at the fabulous forum in Inglewood. And that will make them hypocrites. “No I like LAFC cause they’re in the city unlike LA Galaxy but I love UCLA and can’t wait for the new (American) football stadium in Inglewood.” Guarantee it there’s a good chunk of them. And I’m still wondering why this club has 30 owners. You need 30 millionaires to run this club? Sounds like they figured this club would fail so they have this many owners so someone can put up money for a player’s contract. 5 to 7 owners ok but 30?
All that writing and you never even fact checked. UCLA, the Rams, and the Chargers all at least spent some time playing in the Coliseum in LA. The Carson Galaxy spent two decades moving from suburb to suburb and still trying to claim being from LA. Big difference.
Dragongst do you not remember how it was in the beginning? You think LA would’ve granted a soccer stadium to the Galaxy back when they were looking to build a stadium? Look what happens with San Jose. The players, front office, and coaching staff all left for Houston and the history of the Earthquakes remained and then that club had to play at a small ass 10,000 seat venue. Today it’s different. Now teams can have a shot at landing a stadium within the city limits. Don’t forget UCLA who have played in Pasadena forever and I don’t hear shit about them being called UC Pasadena from some of these fans. I bet if you ask some of them if the Lakers or Kings still played at the fabulous forum would they still be fans or would they call them the Inglewood Lakers or Inglewood Kings. And also ask when the Rams go to Inglewood will they say the Rams aren’t LA anymore and they’re the Inglewood Rams now. Now if it was Anaheim they would be right but because it’s in Carson which isn’t that far away is bullshit. My cousin who is a member of the Angel City Brigade leaves 2 hours away and yet he ain’t changing allegiances and is staying a true fan.
Can’t have it both ways. Can’t say you hate LA Galaxy cause they play in Carson but like UCLA who play in Pasadena and continue to like the Rams when they head to Inglewood. Cause if they’re going by that they need to switch from UCLA to USC and prepare to stop liking the Rams.
@@bigjoeofthe707 exactly. Lakers and kings played in Inglewood for decades while the clippers played in the city of la for decades. Who was more popular??.
This isn't about geography, it's about bandwagoners.
I’m an LAFC fan now from UK
no there is literally nothing unique about it. It's not bad at all but I prefer the one minnesota is building
They just trying to hype LAFC but yea nowhere special, we need to give it time, it is nice looking. Nothing more and nothing less.
Both of the statements above are 100% correct
Only problem with the Minnesota stadium is that it's in Minnesota! GTFOH
Dragongst nah minnesota is one of the best states in the usa
for all 20 people that live there. LA's population > whole state of Minnesota
They couldn't get 3 people out to watch Chivas games.. Wait until this team hits a rough patch..
I don’t understand how a newly founded club is so hyped on. It’s a bunch of rich people who pumped money into it. Everyone is complaining about Red Bull. But Leipzig and Salzburg have both a great youth system which provide a great future for Germany and Austria. And what Salzburg did achieve in the Europa League until the semi-final is awesome. I don’t understand this LAFC hype. And the ultras? wtf? Or the guy who tattooed the LAFC logo? wtf
Bandwagoners
C'mon I was expecting a real stadium and a real club, enough with this Chivas thing.
Lol these guys act as if Carson was a random suburb an hour away from downtown
*COUGH COUGH* 49ers *COUGH COUGH*
Its 15 minutes away, they act like it's in San Diego
It’s actually like 40 minutes away
I attended the Jeddah derby in Saudi Arabia. The first in it's new stadium. 62k fans. Full house. Ended 3-2. Yeaaaah...
I'd take Anfield over this everyday of the week
just wait till Allianz field is complete in Minny
The new kit looks stunning it'd be a dream to wear the black and Gold kit of dreams
Chargers and Rams never got that kind of support 'cause football(handsegg) is kinda boring nowadays tbh
I grew up in the UK, standing on concrete terraces in the rain, 1970's. Always thought that was the true fan. However, I visited an LAFC game yesterday, they are a real core group, chanting all game. I have been back to the UK lately, seen the Grimsby's, Oxford's, Barnsley's where they claim they are the true fans, etc. LAFC are that and MORE. They are the identity of LAFC from which it will grow, they are the 12th man, the entire 3252 end pushing the team on. The stadium is awesome, best I have been in, humanistic in design, welcoming.
Being fan of a new club and being obsessed by it but it never had any history is kinda weird to me..
I hope you guys do the same video next year for my Loons #COYL #MNUFC
Nah. Have you seen the Allianz Arena belongs to bayern Munich. That thing is beautiful, BTW Benfica in Portugal have literally an Eagle fly around the stadium before home matches.
sana Dj it's about new stadiums here. Like 2018 stadiums, not from the past years...
Tomy Gordillo then why didn’t they talk about a stadium in Russia?
LAFC has a hawk that flies around i believe
Nothing special, even Dutch 2nd division club Go Ahead Eagles have Harley the eagle every home match.
Crystal Palace also have an eagle fly around the ground
The product placement is crazy
New team and has one of the best MLS stadiums lol
that's generally how "new" works
LAFC is looking very promising to be the next big contender in MLS.
Not gonna lie but that looks decent!
Thank you for this awesome video! would have been cool to see Heath play for LAFC!
What are the songs that you've used? Pretty nice especially the one at the end
So Salvador representing
You got to give them credit, their is so much passion for their club.
They have more passion than some premier league football fans
LAG > Chivas USA 2.0
*CAG Carson Galaxy
nice stadium, pity it’s full of Americans
Pity your trolling is so narrow minded. The whole world hates that Americans love their stupid boring baseball and football and basketball. I hate watching all those sports, especially American football - the most boring sport on the planet. But then morons like you shit on them when they actually fill a stadium to watch the beautiful game. I love that soccer finally seems to be taking hold in the US. I love the fact Atlanta United sells out a 70,000 seat stadium. In Georgia, of all places! The growth of soccer culture in the US can only be a good thing, for them and for the world. You can shit on the US national team if you want or LAFC, but don't shit on the US fans. No fans, no soccer in America. Give them the credit they deserve.
TagusMan maybe when they create some actual atmosphere and stop treating clubs like franchises people will get on board with US soccer
Fair enough, but that's not the fans' fault. The rest of the world should support the US fans in their love of the sport, because soccer supporters in the US are still a minority, and we all know how minorities have historically been treated in the good ole USA. Support the supporters. They deserve it.
@@TagusMan Even if they look so fake, I have to agree, coz i think u're right. They still have to get any boring name for that boring sport they call 'football'.
Americans don't know what football is.......lolll
I went to the home opener... SO MUCH FUN!!!
No money in the world can buy the feeling of scoring a late winner
Now all we need is promotion and relegation so that everything matters. Also take away conferences after the first relegation so that we can have 18 teams with a manageable 34 games a season for each team
I hate Americans sports with their long season then playoffs. It's just about the $$$$
No Pro-Rel, it's a silly concept.
What about this should be special?
I do not understand where LA FC and NYC FC fans come from. Are they people who have a grudge agaisnt LA Galaxy or NY Red Bull? People who suddenly want a team to support? I understand for example if you lived in Atlanta and were a Houston Dynamos fan and then when Atlanta recived a expansion team you started to support Atlanta United that makes sense to me. Any supporters of these clubs, I would like to know more about why you support your club and how you began supporting your club. Thank You
Bandwagoners. I know lots of Galaxy fans that switched because they were down.
I can’t wait for NYCFC faces LAFC in NYC next season
I’m glad to see the mls is growing
LAFC fans missed an opportunity to create new chants. They just mimic European chants; not original.
It's cringy
Bert Lee what the fuck do u mean kid go to a match (if possible) and u will see how great it is here
@@nandoandrade9364 Yeah all they fucking do is throw beer and crap on the field and use European chants. It's Trash. The team chokes consistently and the supporters are garbage.
Daniel Rankin you’re upset :/
NYCFC needs a new stadium
You obviously haven't seen A.E.K FC new stadium
Has the new AEK Athens stadium been even built yet?
+Leonard Hain Can you just fucking appreciate that football is gaining ground in America? That fucking attitude drives people away. Don't you want more people to open up to the beautiful game? If you're a European I would not be surprised. For all the shit we have in America, Europeans are quite "un-embracing" people as well.
I'm talking to you douchebag. Leonard Hain
Leonard Hain shut the fuck up dude get out f here😂 your annoying as fuck, and your not a true “soccer” fan if you don’t like the growth of the game
What is the local low league club you support
Los Angeles Plastic Club. Never understood supporting a team that just began when there’s a team in your city that’s existed for years.
Eric Johnson it's fairly simple first gen mls teams where made for owners to profit they're made to transplant like most american franchise sports this gen seems to be a little more committed to the community lafc can't become another cities teams without completely rebuilding the crew are a perfect example this game needs to be rooted in the community for it to become great the galaxy can be la but they can also be oc or sd just as easily the Orange County galaxy or San Diego galaxy lafc can only be lafc it shows commitment from the ownership to say this club is just here we will build it a home we will make it accessible through fast public transport having one side of the metro yelling la and the other yelling fc while waiting for the train singing on the train created such an awesome experience that going to the parking lot and going to your car and leaving just doesn't so idk do you get in your car pay for gas and parking and deal with traffic to go to a game or pay 7 bucks and ride the metro idk what you would want but singing on a train is fun probably the best sports related experience I've ever had tbh
Eric Johnson 🙄 can't leave them alone and focus on your stuff for once in your life
you can't comprehend how there can be two teams in one city? how long have you been paying attention to sports?
LAFC built a new team, an awesome state of the art new stadium with a great location in the heart of the city, and you cannot understand why somebody wouldn't want to be a part of it? I hate when people think we are suppose to support some team because it was there first. I have no connection to the Galaxy or the city of Carson, I don't like their colors, their stadium, or their players. LAFC connects with me and that's why I support them. The Galaxy had decades to build a stadium in LA to truly represent the city, instead they went for the cheaper option of building a stadium in an inaccessible suburb.
Never understood how you don't know geography, the team that has existed for years doesn't even play in Los Angeles, but in the suburban community of Carson.
Can't wait to go see a game there looks nice
I was there, being part of history.
Can't wait for Iron Maiden in September here at Banc of California Stadium!
Up the Irons!grtz from Holland
Bob Bradely with the creepy uncle hug man. lol. gotta love him.
American football is a joke
Imagine LAFC vs Millwall lol
Isaac Mckirgan Millwall is not the same anymore football is watered down everywhere
Atlanta’s stadium is way better
LAFC looks like the South American invasion of MLS XD. As European it's cool to see these clubs being created when my club has 113 years old (Sporting CP). The stadium is very cool by the way. LA has a lot of South Americans and other emigrants, we all know. I'm just joking, don't take this too serious.
andre borges mostly Mexicans and Central Americans in Cali. South Americans mostly immigrate along the east coast of the US. There are alot in Florida from what I hear...
Still can’t beat Providence Park
weak goal, almost seemed rigged.
It is an awesome stadium
Dope stadium. Definitely jealous that it's near downtownand love the safe standing stand. Will be repping LA Galaxy when I go there
The stadium actually looks pretty cool
I actually work here ahaha I was there for that first game lucky goal but it was sceeeeeeenes ! Have a nice
Did you have a view of the game?
NO
Great video! Very nice fanbase for such a new club!
What songs were used?
There's always a Portuguese anywhere in the world @4:39
😀
I hate this stadium because they demolished the LA Sports arena to build and that is I like the galaxy
MY Mercedes benz is the best tho ATLUTD
William kartochian definitely not its a football stadium although it is cool
All you just jealous cause your MLS team aint rocking it like ATLUTD and yah its mant for both
William kartochian ATLUTD 4 LIFE
LAFC 4EVER Ahloe Probably just mad we beat y'all
atl is way better
It’s goalkeeper, not “goalie”. Legit fans you have there lafc.
No, it's not. It's small, poorly designed, and lame. It's in LA, yet there is no coverings for sun. It's small, but thats ok, cuz they had half an empty stadium on their second home game.
Urius Tosh So what if it’s small lol many stadiums in Europe are small too but with good atmosphere
Make The Lakers Great Again he said that being small was ok
Oh and salute laker fan
Um yea people work at that time stupid go watch our game with NYCFC see if it’s empty and that game was on Sunday when no one works.right day right time to be at the game y’all just hating cause we winning and succeeding 😝😝🤣
Make The Lakers Great Again he probably is a LA Galaxy fan 😂😂
The new Spurs stadium will outshine this stadium..
Hyperion obviously- but LAFC have only been around for a few months. We’ve been here since 1882. And I’ll be in the Park Lane. COYS
Abbas Zaidi I'll be at the shelf side :D
But not the Atlanta United Benz Stadium. Just 2years in existence and won the American National Football Championship MLS Cup🏆⚽
I am visiting LA in 2 weeks for the Wales v Mexico soccer match at the rose bowl.
My flight lands 2.5 hours before the LA galaxy game on 25th May. Really hoping I can make that one.. but will definitely check out LAFC on the Saturday!
11am - Liverpool v Real Madrid
8pm - LAFC
Day on the beer for sure!
I will just point out the fact that that clumsy save came in the 93rd minute, as if it was just by miracle... New stadium, new club, they oughta win... :)
"best new stadium"
"atmosphere"
"mls"

Those words don't go in the same sentence.
cringe league
Los Angeles FC seems to be a nice team in the MLS,, I like it.
Love you guys in States, your passion for the game, brings so much needed energy in todays football, especially when in Europe they're trying to make Superliga
This video was super dope. Got goosebumps. I felt the energy through the video
