His feelings was hurt bcuz he recently rented his own place and didn't have the money, he said he got me for my birthday this month!! This sketch done saved my life! This is my first Mother’s Day without my mom. I’ve been crying in sadness and missing her ALL afternoon. Flood Gates worth! However there are parts of this video made me literally laugh out loud. I have hollered! Oh thank God for Jesus. The gloom is real today. For this one. 🙋🏾♀️

“Being a Mother is HARD” I felt that 🙌🏾😂
My mom died in 2019 and while I've made it to where I can get past her birthday and the anniversary of her death without losing it, Mother's Day is still SO difficult because it's mentioned everywhere leading up to and on the day. (I lost my dad in 2016 and Father's Day still sucks, too!). My mom was the person I loved most in this world and I have no family of my own, aside from my 'fur kid' cat.' I read a book about the grief of losing a mother and this sentence has stayed with me and still makes me cry: "Our mothers taught us everything except how to live without them."
Same here my mom passed in Feb. 2019. Today has been rough but by God's grace I have made it through. Praying for you. Thank you E. J. for the laugh

Hi Rashas, my Mom passed in 2016 also. Mother’s Day is very hard. Like you said it is literally EVERYWHERE! I have my own family now, but it is still hard. Is it possible for you to visit the cemetery or wherever your parents have been laid to rest? It helps me when I’m having a particularly hard time with the loss of my mom. Praying for us all 🙏🏾

Man I feel bad about this mothers day. I got laid off and it took me a while to find a new job, so this mothers day is food, a card, and some help around the house. Hopefully next year I can get back to gifts and trips for mothers day.

One year I gave my grandmother a purse, that she mentioned she thought was nice. She went through all of the inside pockets, even shook it a little bit, and gave me "this is nice, thank you". I let her cook a little bit and asked her why she didn't look in the pockets on the front of the purse, she was too busy going through the inside. She was like a kid on Christmas morning when she opened the pockets. Yeah, then it was "Bernice look at the beautiful pocketbook my baby gave me" and "you want some more pie".🤣🤣 She was my heart so whatever and whenever was my philosophy on her.

I'm the worst with Mother's day gifts... mostly because my mother will either A) some how regift what I gave her back to me or B) not wear what I gave her. It's usually jewlery and it's not costumy or anything, so at this point idk... the only present she's ever cried over was a mix cd of mother centric songs that I didn't even make or put an ounce of effort into. So idk, if her love language is words of affirmation or what cuz that's a hard thing to gift
