How to install Luimoto Gold Gel Comfort Insert and Motorcycle Seat Cover

In this video, we are installing both our Premium Gold Gel Insert (GG1) and a Designer Seat Cover on a BMW RnineT.
What is Gold Gel?
Gold Gel is specifically designed to absorb and distribute road shock and vibrations. This leads to less rider fatigue, resulting in longer ride times. Gold Gel is not a soft material like most gel inserts on the market. This means that it will not bottom and provides a comfortable and supportive ride at all times.
Tools required:
- Staple Remover or small Flat Head Screw Driver
- Pliers to assit in removing stubborn staples
- Box Cutter with additional blades
- Marker/ Sharpie
- Ruler/ Straight Edge
- Sand Block or Sand Paper
- 6mm Industrial Upholstery Staples
- Scissors
- Staple Gun (Air compressed recommended)

I've done six trips across country on motorcycles and what made more difference to me was the clothes I was wearing. Blue jeans was the worst and any other thick weave pants. I bought some leather pants with soft lining was most comfortable.

Why not provide a complete seat?
There are plenty of other seat options out there, however we exist for those looking for a comfort or aesthetic upgrade without altering your riding position or ride height.
Ordering mine in a few days in combo with Corsa cover . Can’t wait to see how it looks and sits on the RSV4 1100 😬

Thanks for your question! It has been formulated to help reduce vibration and absorb road shock which may ease some back pain. But by no means a magic bullet solution.

Can I install a heated pad over the black foam? Any problem with gel + heated seat?
That is something we haven't tried or have much experience with. The gel can easily survive a hot day so maybe? however, proceed at your own risk.
For a BMW R1200GS 2004 model have any kit?
Our Gold Gel insert kits are universal.
Check out our GG1 for rider only or GG3 for rider and passenger.
At high temperature that seat is it going to be hot?
As the gel is integrated into the seat and under a layer of foam in addition to the seat cover and not exposed openly by itself. Having a hot seat really isn't an issue. 🙏
