    If i want to connect it to my laptop through USB for it to use with Ableton or whatever, i dont require an external soundcard right ? previously with the Akai EWI i was forced to switch to ASIO drivers to not suffer from latency

    Great videos! Just two questions: what adaptor or adaptor cable do you use to connect to the iPad? And: while you do that, do you need batteries in the Aerophone Go or can it be powered via the cable while also sending data through it? Thank you!

    I do not see any MIDI connection referred to anywhere. He says using it as a MIDI controller, plays then ends the tutorial, but makes no reference to an actually connection on the machine. Is this an instrument that foregoes MIDI? I've used several wind controllers, all capable of just plugging into a synth or module and using whatever exists in those items, does this have that facility? If not, it pretty much means I can't use any of my 10 synths to create anything with, anybody in the know here?

    How about connecting it to a MIDI module, like Yamaha VL-70m?

      It uses USB to transmit MIDI to a computer, so perhaps you'd need to route it through a computer and out to a USB-to-MIDI-DIN adapter.

    Is there an acoustic bass sound included?

    • @redconfetti
      @redconfetti 5 місяців тому +1

      Because it can plug in via USB (see 1:56), you could use it with software instruments to drive all sorts of sounds, including an acoustic bass sound in a sampler program like Kontakt, IK Multimedia's Sampletank, Steinberg's Halion, etc.
