Whether you're a sprinter, a distance swimmer, or a breaststroker..😅..(just kidding).. a solid core is the FOUNDATION of our sport.
As much as we use our abs in the water, it's just as important to train them out of the water as well. That's because air is less dense than water and doesn't provide the same support to hold our body line. Training abs on dry land is going to kick up the resistance level to make you stronger and more explosive.
With this routine your covering thirteen exercises full of core building movements that target the positions and motions critical to swimmers.

How do you not hurt your tailbone while doing the super crunches?
A soft flooring like astro-turf or a yoga mat prevents too much pressure on the tailbone.

Hey I had a question how much times a week should I do this ab workout to get results. And can I do this video multiple times a day like twice or three times a day?
Hey Super. You'll find that training abs 3-4 times per week is a good balance between progress and rest. Yes you can do this multiple times a day if you like.
Abs are extremely hard for me to get. Yet I swim and am somewhat lean, any advice.
Variance in the exercises and consistency in the effort spent training is key.
I am also a national swimmer but due to some issues I left now my body is quite opposite to yours I need motivation video please
