Hi there! here is the best way to go: black and white sesame, lime zest, lemongrass minced, sweet paprika, salt and pepper.. Brush fish with grapeseed oil before rubbing it. Sear quickly in all sides in a hot pan. Thanks again for your every day support!! - Happy tuna day :)

At my old job we would do this almost exactly the same but with miso vin, cucumber sorbet, and a sesame tuile.

This is an excellent recipe. I've made many tuna tartare recipes and this one is by far the best. The secret is the crispy shallots.

Please read what the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says: “Based on careful scientific review, we have decided the best way to ensure the long-term sustainability of bluefin tuna is through international cooperation and strong domestic fishery management,” After an extensive scientific review, NOAA announced today that Atlantic bluefin tuna currently do not warrant species protection under the Endangered Species Act.

I completely agree. As the last link in the food chain, it is our job to make sure that the animals around us doesn't get extinct because of us.. Unfortunately not all people think that way. I still love his videos though, but I won't be making that tartare with an almost extinct fish :p

Do I need to get the kinda tuna only produced for eating raw or any kinda tuna from supermarket fridge will do to trick?
you can use red tuna or yellow fin tuna as well. Blue is more tender though.
If your planing to eat raw meat. Always. Always get it fresh from a trusted butcher and ask where it's from. If it's been flown in from oversees, it's not gonna be super fresh anymore.

I find this interesting, not this recipe but how youtube works.
This video has an eastern European man narrating this and all of a sudden fishing for the endangered Bluefin is ok. On other videos with Asians consuming Bluefin it is thumbed down and many race oriented things are said. Huh.
It would be more accurate to say Western-European :P Since Chef Bruno comes from France, originally.
He's not eastern european, Bluefin is not globally endangered, fishing endangered species is only a problem under certain circumstances, and the only people who say race-oriented things on videos of asian people cooking tuna are idiots. Just like you.
