Adding anything to the hot shoe mount will almost definitely affect the clearance on any gimbal if you want to use "briefcase" mode. But if you're holding the gimbal straight up and down you won't have a problem.
I really enjoyed watching this video. It would have been cool if you filmed yourself with your phone for example balancing the camera on the gimbal. I really like the way you first present the glide cam and then talk about the new gimbal and your experience. Nice way of storytelling i.m.o.
Quick question - when you put your gimbal back into the bag (after already balancing it) do you have to adjust the arms back to a "default" position for it to fit in the bag or will it fit regardless of the arm adjustments? in other words, do i need to re-balance it each time I take it out of the bag? I’m thinking about making the jump from Flycam to Gimbal… something easier to use (and in my case, less fragile) sounds fantastic

Nope, you can balance it, and pack it away like that so as long as you set up your camera in the exact same way again, it'll still be balanced.

Have had the RS2 for around 17 months. RS3 Pro says it will be here in 5 days. I prefer the carbon fiber build of the RS3

Hi.Do you have the issue where in fpv mode you can’t adjust follow speed of the roll and tilt axis?
I don't use FPV mode very often so I haven't noticed this
