    great and honest review. It was a surprise for me that none of power supply plates will work with new design

    A real review from a real user of the tool. Love!! Nice work. I'm looking at the RS4 to hold a Canon R5 24-70 with ND filter, on the RS3 it hits the eye piece (non-removable on canon cameras). Keep up the real world use videos.

      Hi there, could you meanwhile confirm that RS4 can achieve that, i.e. holding Canon R5 24-70 with ND filter, etc. with enough clearance?

      I don’t use the Canon R5 but I am sure it will work because my Sony a7iv with a smallrig cage and 16-35mm GM is just as heavy. Let us know if it works for you

      I have the Canon R6 Mkii with a full body Small rig cage paired with the Sigma Art 24-70 and a Polar Pro filter on, and my RS4 handles it very well with no obstruction of the gimbal.

    Side issue: Do you think the potential upcoming ban on DJI DRONES will affect DJI's sales of gimbals in the USA? I know drones collect data, but gimbals do not. However, I see some media outlets that DJI will not be able to do business in the USA. Sorry, I don't like to spread rumors. Do you know anything about this? Thanks for your time!

      It’s totally separate. On the drone side the government want to know who is flying the drone and where. The gimbal has nothing to do with that. I would worry more about people kicking you out of places because gimbal look too “professional”

    Nice video. What I was looking for in regards of my first purchase. Did you notice any differences while recording in the stabilization algorithms?

    • @ThisVSThat
      @ThisVSThat  2 місяці тому +1

      With my Sony A7iv and 16-35mm i feel like my RS3 handles it fine, so I never really had real issue with the stabilization on the RS3. With that being said though, If this is your first purchase then I would go with the RS4. It will future proof you in case you get a heavier setup.

    Is the wrist support work well?

    • @ThisVSThat
      @ThisVSThat  5 днів тому

      The Wrist Support works BUT, depending on the camera you are using. from my Experience the a7iv with a cage is a bit too heavy to be using it for an extended amount of time with Wrist Support. The one item that has been crucial to take the weight off has been the belt www.amazon.com/Kamerar-MogoCrane-Support-Stabilizer-AirCross/dp/B07MZFJPY6

    Do you think either would hold and balance the Canon R6 2 with the beast 28-70 f2 lens?

    • @ThisVSThat
      @ThisVSThat  2 місяці тому +1

      Sorry for the late reply, My RS3 held the Sony A7iv with a smallrig cage and 16-35mm GM. Another word, it’s a heavy setup and it still work Flawlessly. So far the only one that have not worked on the RS3 without modification is the a7iv with 70-200

    Please, can you share with us your opinion about the "improved" stabilization? Does the stabilization work any better on the rs4 or in that terms there it's not enough to justify upgrading? Thanks.

    • @ThisVSThat
      @ThisVSThat  2 місяці тому +2

      If you already have a RS3, the upgrade is not justified. I never had real issue with the RS3 stabilization to begin with. But if I didn’t have the RS3 and I am coming into this brand new, I would grab the RS4. I hope that helps

      @@ThisVSThat I actually own the rsc2... So I was wondering as I saw a deal with the rs3 for 300 bucks... Is it worth the change from the rsc2 to the rs3?

    • @ThisVSThat
      @ThisVSThat  2 місяці тому +1

      I see. The RS3 auto collapse is a big upgrade for me. I use my gimbal quite a bit, so if it was me, I would jump to the rs4 from the RSc2.
