I think the OneUI deserves a special 'BRAVO' title for its functionality, stability and updates. Like honestly, have been on the S21+ for reasonably over a year now, and have been more than just impressed. Be it the updates, or the one handed use (which for a person like me with small hands, is a blessing), or the user experience, or the overall stability, I just think Samsung has done a fantastic job with their custom skin. Earlier, I was a stock Android user, and at that time, it was the go to UI, but now...... One UI any day. Cheers. Also, regarding the updates, Samsung is pushing updates wven to its budget phones like the M30, M31 etc., which are over 3 years old.... Good job Sammy!
I have always liked moto clean UI from MotoG3 Got Samsung m32 as gift __used it for 3 months __ after that bought moto g71 __using it from last 2 months__ I think moto clean UI is great, but Samsung UI is actually quite intuitive__ even though M32 processor (Helio 85) is much weaker than Moto g71(SD695)__ Samsung M32 feels way smoother than moto g71-
I will definitely choose moto over samsung butt only if they provide android updates properly like when I asked my friend with Motorola phone when I was on android 12 he said it recently got updated to android 11 in mid 2022 or else moto is best 👌

After shifting from MIUI (as Poco X2 motherboard died all of sudden) to One UI, I can say it is the best UI currently in the market, as it has all the day to day essential features, and it hangs very rarely.
My iqoo 7 legend was updated to Android 13 a few days back .But I really felt happy with that .I wouldn't say there are new features but all the bugs are clear now and I can see that my cpu performance also got increased a lot .That's a really good thing.

@bhanutej1162 not blaming samsung...but am wondering how iqoo7 legend beating s22 ultra in app opening and even colors in the game looks much more brighter in iq legend than s22 ultra.🙄🙄 but in features one ui beats every other andriod out there.
Realme UI a.k.a Colour OS is really impressive especially with the Android 13 update. It's stable, smooth and feature rich. It has come a long way. I use Realme 9 Pro + and I have disabled the adds and once you do that experience is so smooth.
@@haroonpaul1997 may be from model to model bugs may differ.. yes, right now I'm on the beta version of Realme UI 4 on Realme 9 pro+ and it has got bugs but I haven't encountered any big bugs which affects the experience. I had a bad experience on realme ui. I loved realme for far better software experience than MIUI when i bought realme 3 pro last year i bought relame 8 pro, it was "fine" but after realme ui 3 update, that phone is hell, its littered with ads and experience is just not good. same with oneplus, my op5t is running exceptionally well ( with oxy os 10) but just some built in apps like gallery and file manager are suspiciously slow, i takes exactly 10.5 sec to delete either 1 or 1000 photos and it takes almost 20 sec to load pics in gallery whereas google photos app work instantaneously ...
My OnePlus 7 received Android 12 Update just a few days back and I regret updating it. I took pride in being a OnePlus user especially because of the clean experience they used to provide along with useful features. Some might say Oxygen OS 10 was the peak Oxygen OS, but neglecting the bugs Oxygen OS 11 had, it provided one of the cleanest UI and user experience. There are logistical reasons as to why OnePlus might have made the decision to merge with Oppo, but the tradeoff is that now there exist no product differentiation between Oppo, Realme and OnePlus. The only difference that exists today is way they market their phones and segment their target audience. All the phones share Zen Mode, Color OS Launcher and what not... Some might say this is good, but then all of these features come at a cost of losing identity.
The identity of OnePlus was built on not OxygenOS but on their image of being flagship killer. Remember that time when OnePlus phones used to run CyanogenMod ? The phones weren't known for their UI back then but was known for the flagship specs at a much lower price. Then after that fall out happened with Cyanogen they made the OxygenOS by very slightly tweaking the stock Android, if colorOS would have been this great that time then you won't even see OxygenOS. They would've straight up used ColorOS for their phones. From consumer perspective, yeah they did lose their identity of OxygenOS but if you see it from their perspective, merging OnePlus with Oppo makes the most sense. Their phones were and are till date rebadged Oppo phones. Their manufacturing is done by Oppo's manufacturing hub alongside the Realme and Oppo phones. So, if they straight up merge both the brands, that will not only give them access to Oppo's camera tech and processing but will also save their budget as the phones will be manufactured in the same line and anything that Oppo has a patient on can be used by them, including the Marisilicon X NPU that Oppo developed for their Find X5 pro. Also Original OxygenOS started to have lots of software issues during their later phase, particularly OOS 10(ig you know that already), and Oneplus couldn't fix it at all. So when OPPO is already having an UI which has already became polished, feature-rich, stable and Comparable to OneUI, it saves OnePlus from spending time on OxygenOS, simply replacing it with ColorOS was their best choice, and they did that. Now just look at OxygenOS 13(don't consider 12, that's horse poop) it's looks exactly the same like Oppo and Realme phones but it's also superior in terms of features than original OxygenOS yet, packs the same stability and smoothness of the Original OxygenOS.
@@akicr7 Just stay on OOS 11. It's fine, well not as good as the ColorOS on Oppo phones or the OG OOS but its far better than OOS 12. Update the phone only when OP provides OOS 13. OOS 13 is far better, stable and smooth than OOS 12 ever was.

I have personally moved from miui from my poco x3 to OnePlus's Oxygen os, as poco x3 died all of a sudden and don't think will work long after repairing, however Oxygen os 12.1 on 10t pro is great, must say OnePlus is a worthy upgrade for me and would recommend it, over miui these days...!!

Androids on the other hand are for those who love customisations, bigger screens, sleek form factors etc. You can do a lot more like downloading fonts, playing with how your notification buttons look like etc. Also if you are a biker, you'd need an Android phone to be put on the phone mount as iPhone camera lenses get damaged on normal bike mounts due to vibration.

I have a question. Why is OxygenOS put in DID THE JOB tier, and ColorOS/RealmeUI in VERY SOLID when they are the SAME? Instead, OxygenOS is better than ColorOS because it's the same but without Ads. Also, the physical board doesn't seem quite appealing. Go back to the graphic one.
I use Realme UI 3.0 and honestly, I love the UI. I mean all the ads can be turned off by a single option in the settings, and after that, the experience has been good tbh
Yeah men the whole company of Google stands on ads alone. No matter how much we hate Ads, ads are big part of modern times specially if you're not premium consumer. No matter u are consuming a phone, spotify, UA-cam you gotta be on premium side to have ad free experience.
You did not mention the recent display issue due to updates in oneplus where the updates caused green lines to appear on the screen and how hard it was for everyone to get screen replacement for free while being covered by warrenty. Oneplus must be in the "You know it, I know it" Tier.
Oxygen OS aka Color OS is the best... Smooth animations, the video doesn't stutter in PIP mode for UA-cam, Netflix and Amazon Prime, has background streaming for non premium users, and the software is really stable with no app crashes yet. It feels like a revelation over my experience in my S20+...
Ya it's very stable. Was not expecting it to be quite so smooth. Makes realme even more VFM at least now that one plus has started becoming rather expensive
I'd like to say that I've used 2 budget phones, one from one UI and 1 motos myux. Gotta say moto has many handy features compared to samsung, but the UI still has glitches. This wasn't the case with Samsung's m series phone. Absolutely no glitches/ freezes in the 2 years of usage but 2 months of usage on Moto and there are frequent glitches.
For me not so. S22 Plus was very very slow. When compared to Moto edge. I do more tasks in same amount of time. Even simple tasks like opening gpay to scan takes some time. One ui is not clean, with some random flags everywhere
One thing about this channel is the truthiness. In my opinion this is the best tech channel in India, I think it is a very underrated channel. I do not know. Pixel stock Android deserves very solid. It has added some features and has made many stability improvements in A13, major changes to Android very year is difficult.
Agreed on One UI, I just updated my S20FE and the most impressive improvement I'm seeing is in the battery standby time, SOT also has increased; highly impressed. But Moto on GOAT tier and Pixel UI on DID THE JOB doesn't make sense to me. Moto phones have amazing user experience even with old versions of android but the slow update policy itself is enough reason to not put it along with something like One UI. Also, Pixel UI with its really smart features definitely is better than a Moto phone. This is coming from a huge Moto fan, my Moto Z play still runs smooth enough.

ok let's be honest I recently switched to samsung device which is my first samsung and here in OneUI so called "GOAT" missing some of the most common features like 1. no internet speed meter, can't disable internet permission for any app, 2. opening apps from sidepanel opens in default full screen mode it should in popup by default that's why we kept it in sidepanel to quickly look into the app, 3. No 3 finger screenshot, 4. no proper audio equalizer, 5. horizontal app drawer no direct option to change it vertical other than goodlock module 6. No google lens integration in gallery app which is very useful for us students and so many daily useful features are missing. People be like oh it has call recording without announcement let's declare it as "GOAT". Now I think oxygen os is still far better choice for me atleast.
and yes there's a background app scanning is there whenever you install any app. I was feeling installing any app is taking time and later I find out there's background app scanning which is turned on by default. People criticize this part for realme xiaomi but samsung also doing same but in background
Yet Samsung can emulste Windows, Ps2, Switch, Nintendo Wii with Dolphin bar, ps1, psp, ps vita, gba, gbc, gamecube, and stream games. Not to mentuon Dex and One handed operation+ blow thr competition out of the water and have way more usability.
I agree Look of Oxygen OS and colour OS is same but believe it oxygen OS is way better than color OS in day to day usage and oxygen OS is really smooth as fluid
Good video. You could've included lg in the list, as lg g8x has been getting updates every 3 months since 2 years consistently. Also, you had to include Asus to inform people on ROG series if not 8z ! Thanks
Don't take me bad.. but I think MOTO and One UI should not be in the same tier.. like even though they have much better ui now, and improved a lot... One UI still has much more features, much better updates, special gimmicks like over the edge features , good lock, Knox, easy split screen, dex etc etc that they should be above MOTO.. maybe give moto great tier and an award for most improved, or give the ONE UI and almighty tier, like someone in this comment said .
Feature-wise, One UI is great. Offers a ton of customisation features, and good accessibility features as well. However, One UI still doesn't feel as smooth as stock Android or iOS, even on their flagship S series. Samsung really needs to improve its fluidity. One UI 5 was supposed to help with this, but my phone developed pink lines on the display, and hence I can't use it anymore. Maybe time to buy a Pixel and use stock Android for the first time!
I've got the Pixel 7 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, and in my experience One UI is on par with stock android in fluidity as well as features, if not better than it and never faced any issues. Will pick Galaxy any day over Pixel. It seems you've got a faulty unit brother.
I had a OnePlus 7 and passed it on to my mom and bought myself a samsung phone. After a year, after an OS update on the OnePlus 7, i couldn't even recognise the phone. It has changed drastically and i was so glad that i switched to a Samsung phone. #oneuirocks 👍
I have used every other company phone except iQOO so here’s how I would rate my experiences: 1. GOAT- One UI > Pixel UI = iOS. Google & Apple manufacture flagships so there’s no point denying that their software are any less than 8/10 even if they had any flaws during initial launch months. With Samsung, the somewhat overpriced hardware below 25-30k limits “fully enjoyable” UI experience otherwise One UI is always a 10 from me. 2. Very Solid- My UX > MIUI. Motorola misses GOAT by providing few years of updates. I would have placed Color OS clone ie, Oxygen OS higher than MIUI but that brand has reached its limit and might be heading downhill. 3. Does the Job- Oxygen OS > Realme OS. 4. We both know it- Funtouch OS > Color OS.
Exactly my thoughts. Prateek himself was contradictory to himself where he praised Pixel UI so much but did not put in GOAT tier yet moto was kept in GOAT even after few flaws. During MIUI he talked amore about the Govt issues and camera/motherboard dying than the features of the UI itself or what UI is capable of whenever it does work mostly in MI flagships(rather than saying it does breaks your phone) like MI12 like how he did for samsung hence Very Solid for me too...

For me samsung should be very solid. Samsung has now started showing ads in mid range phones and also have lot of bloatwares. Everytime i upadate my phone some new unwanted app gets downloaded
I would love to see a comparison between a fresh factory reset and how much storage each skin takes up. One UI is 4x as large as Pixel OS, for example. That means less space for apps.
One UI deserve a category Beyond GOAT and Moto has very few features when compared to Samsung, so it should be in did the job tier. (You can't even lock the phone with double tap)
Moto doesn't deserve Goat tier, ik they did good job in 2022 but here we are talking about "UI" and having a GOAT position with one year android updates and late updates, it doesn't deserve that Position IMO and Pixel's UI is on Did the job seriously? I can agree for one ui, yes its GOAT but but but but. Realme ui and color os are not the same bro, realme ui gives more ads than color os itself. And importantly color os phones get updates earlier than oplus and realme me so there it is why it should be above the realme for sure. Their update department is going great btw.
Yeah but Oxygen OS despite being Color OS is great and fluid and smooth and tasty! It deserves to be in the Great tier! I know that Oxygen OS is Color OS now, but even color OS great(Even considering that it has adds and bloatware which Oxygen OS doesn't but hey, tbh, we don't change phones everyweek right? So what's wrong with additional 5 mins of disabling adds/removing bloatware anyway?) I always say that a Polished UI/Beautiful UI(Color/RealmeUI) with adds is far better than a non polished/Old,Bad,Boring UI(MIUI) without adds given that the adds can be disabled! And regarding the Software updates, the updates on MyUX(Moto) aren't random and unpredictable like the UA-camrs call it but it is just that they follow a different schedule, for example Edge 30 gets Android 13 during the launch of Edge 40 which comes with A13 too(in that particular region), similar to what Apple does!

Fun Fact - Motorola was the first company to invent phone and also helped Nasa when Neil Armstrong landed on moon 🔥🔥🔥
That's not Lenovo moto
That's the OG Moto, one of its divisions was bought by Google and other by Lenovo
The phones weren't known for their UI back then
but was known for the flagship specs at a much lower price.
Glad that the update did not came to my OnePlus 7 Pro. Agreed Oxygen OS 10 was peak Oxygen OS. Wish we could roll back to stable Oxygen OS 10.
@@akicr7 Just stay on OOS 11. It's fine, well not as good as the ColorOS on Oppo phones or the OG OOS but its far better than OOS 12. Update the phone only when OP provides OOS 13. OOS 13 is far better, stable and smooth than OOS 12 ever was.

and so many daily useful features are missing.
Thank you one UI is overrated
Realme UI is underrated
Yet Samsung can emulste Windows, Ps2, Switch, Nintendo Wii with Dolphin bar, ps1, psp, ps vita, gba, gbc, gamecube, and stream games. Not to mentuon Dex and One handed operation+ blow thr competition out of the water and have way more usability.
One UI is just awesome👌
🔝......🔝
Feature-wise, One UI is great. Offers a ton of customisation features, and good accessibility features as well. However, One UI still doesn't feel as smooth as stock Android or iOS, even on their flagship S series. Samsung really needs to improve its fluidity. One UI 5 was supposed to help with this, but my phone developed pink lines on the display, and hence I can't use it anymore. Maybe time to buy a Pixel and use stock Android for the first time!
🔝
Stay on samsung
Try a midrange Motorola and see if u like it
I've got the Pixel 7 and Galaxy S21 Ultra, and in my experience One UI is on par with stock android in fluidity as well as features, if not better than it and never faced any issues. Will pick Galaxy any day over Pixel. It seems you've got a faulty unit brother.
Wait for pixel 8 series to launch.
5:30 best line *Nothing OS deserves nothing*
Did you experienced ?
@@ohoh9943 yes
Bro nothing is a new brand and they are trying to do better.
And we have to appreciate them🙏
@@ohoh9943 ye it is true Phone 1 is just new. I know they will improve in phone 2 so I am waiting for it 🧡
Nothing 2.0 🔥🔥🔥
I had a OnePlus 7 and passed it on to my mom and bought myself a samsung phone. After a year, after an OS update on the OnePlus 7, i couldn't even recognise the phone. It has changed drastically and i was so glad that i switched to a Samsung phone. #oneuirocks 👍

OnePlus's oxygen/color OS is slightly better than realme's color OS
100% agree
Due to less bloatwares
yaa man u are right techwiser is an absolute idiot and biased against oneplus
Moto is back and with a bang... Moto's my ux is the smoothest ui ever with lots of cool features 😍
I have used every other company phone except iQOO so here’s how I would rate my experiences:
🔝..........🔝
@@SaurabhPatel3093 yes i fr thought i misclicked the next video button when he talked about hardware issues but then i realised that this is his video and he might have derailed a bit off topic.
What is the best smartphone under 50k ( 700USD) right now ...I have 3 year old smartphone and not been in touch with current generation smartphone since I started working.
I am aware of flagships but they are too much like ( 1 lac for the Samsung S22 Ultra and Google pixel 7 pro ). I am not looking to spend too much on Smartphone
Is there anything best choosing below 55k( 700USD) for business IT professional and starting Devops learner?
Need to buy within a month..........
One UI goated for sure🔥
One UI deserves a new category Almighty.
I came from motorola to one ui , it feels like going from automatic to manual 🔥
One UI is simply THE BEST!! The customizations available, privacy and permission management is just wow.
Man it has fastest updates over the other android phones..Moto deserves Did the job position and Pixel's UI deserves atleast very solid position IMO
He is just stupid.
At least it doesn't have bug🙃🙃🙃🙃
Yeah exactly i was shocked when he put the pixel in the did the job tier like we are talking about the smoothest android experience with fastest updates
@@akshay-nr7xk Pixel Ui Have Lot Of Bugs Moto Ui Have Doesn't Have Any Bugs Yeah Moto Use Same Ui Like Pixel But Motorola Have Better Optimization Pixel
@@astitvasharma8891 it's moto's strategy... No updates = No bugs 😎🤣
Prathik, my phone is oppo reno 10x. When i purchased this phone in 2019, android 9 was out of the box. Now it has android 12. No major bugs i have noticed yet. Really worthy.
samsung's One UI is far ahead of all the ui out there and their services too they responds to your almost all the problems through their customer support like by using their samsung Members & try to resolve and they are also provides the updates on time but this time they kept it freeze don't know why may be because of the major update ANDROID 13 but yeah in terms of ANDROID life I'll always sugget to go with GALAXY 🙂🙂
One UI is just crazy man !
6:38 While Android 13 seems like a *small* change on phones, its a meaningful update on tablets.
The experience has improved quite a lot compared to Android 12L on tablets...
The taskbar makes more sense, the UI design has been refined, and is overall smoother and more stable than Android 12L.

@@Naraayanay Well phones like *Pixel 7* and *Galaxy S21 FE* are good buys.
There are other options too, like *Moto Edge 30 Fusion* (for design and aesthetics), and *POCO X4 GT* (for the raw performance, and conveniences like 3.5-mm headphone jack).
Hope it helps
I already knew One UI was going to the GOAT list as I'm a Samsung user OneUI is all I can bet on as on today..
I think pixel ui should come in GOAT, and moto UI in very solid.
Both of them deserves very solid tier
My UX doesn't deserve GOAT teir, "did the job" or "solid" should be enough 🥺
what happens to your UI from online to whiteboard....😵💫
One ui is the best. But unfortunately value for money is not there with other aspects
just experiance one ui 5 it's very good and feature rich before this I've used to with realme UI that time I think that realme UI is goat but now I feel that the major improvement in os and id samsung give 5 years updates in flagship smartphones then it's clearly notice that they want to do different then other android smart phones. hed's off SAMSUNG
🔝......🔝
I can agree for one ui, yes its GOAT but but but but. Realme ui and color os are not the same bro, realme ui gives more ads than color os itself. And importantly color os phones get updates earlier than oplus and realme me so there it is why it should be above the realme for sure. Their update department is going great btw.
Pixel UI Best😍🔥
🔝
Yeah but
Oxygen OS despite being Color OS is great and fluid and smooth and tasty! It deserves to be in the Great tier!
I know that Oxygen OS is Color OS now, but even color OS great(Even considering that it has adds and bloatware which Oxygen OS doesn't but hey, tbh, we don't change phones everyweek right? So what's wrong with additional 5 mins of disabling adds/removing bloatware anyway?)
I always say that a Polished UI/Beautiful UI(Color/RealmeUI) with adds is far better than a non polished/Old,Bad,Boring UI(MIUI) without adds given that the adds can be disabled!
One UI as always GOAT
Just think how terribly customized the one ui is I ❤️❤️❤️ it
