why would you want a brick and a case?, the phone is the cheapest out of all of them ofc it wont have it, let me also add a very key detail which apparently no one here is educated on, nothing is the only company in the world which built its own special software which every so often goes and sorts out the bytes on your SSD in a very complex manner which ensures longevity and ensures that your SSD doesn't slow down over time, please if you seriously want a charging brick over a free software which comes pre-installed like this then you're not the right customer and go back to apple

Why was the storage type not considered for the comparison ? Phone 2a comes with UFS 2.2 which we can see in 10,000/- phones & the competitors are providing UFS 3.0.
How useful is this ufs thing? Is it important to look into? Does it affect our day to day life

For that price you can get 2 Poco X3 pro with UFS 3.1, I still don't get why this 2021 budget phones still beats many bugets phones 3 years later. Even in terms of performance
I would get myself an Xperia 5 II, snapdragon 865 which can be overcloked to beat the 8gen1 all day, sd card slot, headphone jack and custom roms

We dont care if you use plastic or butter paper to cover your phone in the package.
We care about the charger and the phone case you decided to not include in the box.

I'm American and I just see cutting the charger as a cheap cash grab. One of the things I liked about the OnePlus 12 is the fact it is basically the only phone in the US that still includes the charging brick (not just anyone either, but a 80W brick) and yes I do use it

I use a Xiaomi phone and the optimisation is so bad that during a phonecall, when I press the speaker option, instead of increasing volume it decreases(not hardware issue it works fine on WhatsApp calls).This is accompanied by constant glitches and crashes. Are you really sure your phone 2 is worse than this?
The removal of the charging brick doesn't actually cut down on the environmental impact as many companies lead us to believe. Yes, it reduces it for the specific company by making their packaging smaller, but these companies pass the carbon footprint onto their customers. Customers buy a case and an additional charger brick which is more packaging and plastics being used as well as more fuel being consumed resulting in emissions into the atmosphere.
Going green simply means profit for company. When users had to buy extra charger and cable. Bussiness does'nt gives shit about the enviroment. Companies like going green.
They don't care shit about environment. They just want profits by save cost on giving free charger & getting extra money by selling charger seperately. First started by apple & now followed by almost everyone.

The only thing that nothing 2a has is probably a better camera. At this price point things like not including a charger does become a problem

I have just bought nothing phone 2a, and I am not getting the charger of nothing, I have been checking flipkart daily since 1 week but still it is showing out of stock.Charger was not found in the box, but at least its stock should be available online, what should I do with the phone when there is no charger.
@nothingtechology, please update the camera performance.. when we zoom in for pic the camera quality is really worst, even after the Update and it takes time to recognise finger print.I purchased a expensive phone for the 1st time which is nothing phone 2a and I'm really really very much disappointed with the camera quality. I couldn't click clear picture just 10-15 f away with zoom in ..
The Nothing Phone 2a is not supplied with a charger, as it has not been explicitly mentioned. The inclusion of a charger would result in an increase in its price.

Heating is easy to solve so long as there’s great software optimization and al the hardware is in proper contact with a metallic inner frame. Besides, heating is an issue for 1/100 people, mostly those who do non-phone stuff on their phone
they knowingly excluded iqoo z9(rs 19999), iqoo z7 pro , poco ,etc that will beat their benchmarks scores LOL ....
Got my friend to buy a Nothing Phone 2, applied a screen protector and it immediately gave bubbles at the edges. Applied one more by a professional and got multiple bubbles again. Then googled and found multiple threads of frustration where most of the screens are not flat for some reason. This is such a basic feature that was ignored and somehow untested. There was no professional response in any of those forums. My friend is unhappy and I am disappointed. Never encountered such a strange issue with any of the other smartphones.
Suggestions for carl
1) Make the screen smaller.
2) Start giving charger if not give atleast a case
3) Fix software bugs. Camera, glyph etc
Your phone 2 and 2a are superb phones otherwise.

lot of you guys are commenting about ui so yes ui is bad but it isn't like totally shit it is still good with lots or features but it got tons of bloatware for sure which you can uninstall almost 95% so for me I'm ok with it, i will just spend 30 min extra to clean my phone and get better performance for the price, this may be a dealbreaker for many but idc.

Do you know what's better thing to do? Its easier to uninstall bloatware from a phone rather than buying 2k brick. Uninstalling bloatware is like what 10 mins at most? Not having a charger is kinda sad for this price point. Furthermore, samsung might not have performance to compete but it will surely get the best UI UX for that pricepoint compare it with A-series.

Nothing's actual price 25,999 because the buying charging brick itself costs 2,000 to buy separately. And if you're talking about minimising the carbon footprint then Nothing really should've included a charging brick with the phone. There is problem with sharpness in photos in Nothing phone 2 everyone is using as well as it gets heated if you click continuous photos and hangs as well

1.Vivo v29e is not the competition. It's a phone targeting offline market.
Instead of it vivo t2 pro or iqoo z7 pro is the perfect competitor.
2.Other actual competitors are moto edge 40 neo, poco x6 pro.
3. How can you rate your u boxing higher when there is no charger & case in the box.
4. Performance is dull compared to other phone with same processor. Additionally offering ufs2.1 storage when others are offering ufs3.1 at lesser prices.
5. Others offer 67 watt Fast charging support but it is lesser in NOTHING 2A.

I agree with all ratings except the unboxing. How can you give 9/10 without the fast charger and give others 4-5 with the charger. You unbox your phone only once but you charge it everyday. The charger is a key component not just for unboxing but the phone itself.

Didn't feel like watching the rest of the video when I saw that a phone with a fast charger in the box getting a significantly lower score than a phone with no charger in the box. A charger and case in the box completes the unboxing experience. I don't know who in the world (except the manufacturer) would prefer not to have a case and a charger included in the box. Good try with the whole unbiased comment 😅
