I have Samsung F62 and I got the Android 13(One ui 5) update yesterday. After the update I haven't faced any bugs as such. It's shocking that while most of the flagship phones from chinese brands haven't yet got the update, even a phone costing only 22k is getting updates so early. I absolutely sure I am never goona switch from samsung.
I got it on first sale for 15k and Damm it's been holding very good..... and thanks for this comment I now know that one ui 5 is out and now downloading as I type 😀
Same. Do not switch
How come you got One ui 5 ? Im using S20 FE 5g, a flagship level phone, and I still havent received the update.
Ya not even galaxy s20 got the update. My f62 is so good. Except in case of gaming.
@@Mr.Coffee576 it will receive one ui 5 this week or next. And it's true that f62 got the update
Samsung Pay & Samsung Pass are such an underated features. You should definitely highlight them in the next video
Yep bro especially samsung pass...
Right ✅️
Samsung pay is great app. 👍
Yes i use them always
I have around 7-8 credit cards to carry in a separate wallet. Thanks to Samsung Pay 😍 for hassle free credit card usage. Intact when I make any POS transaction everyone looks at me 😄😄😄
I'm using M31 (launched in early 2020)
And it's I think still perfect (Not for gamers) and I can definitely say, in the budget too, with One UI core, Samsung is miles ahead of the competition in terms of UI and Updates.
I just prefer the design google has with the pixel line, it's not stock android coz the only stock android is aosp which is very bare bones and boring but pixel's android is very clean and consistent compared to other skins, one ui isn't very pretty to me but the customisation is nice
also pixel launcher and all the cool ai features in the other google apps like call screen
Yeah, stock android animations are super cool, which have never been in other skins.
Too bad it can't change entire themes, icons, and the notification/quick panel to turn it into an entirely new phone.
From TouchWiz to OneUi is something astonishing.
Touchwiz -worst android ui ever
Oneui -the best android ui currently
With many duplicate apps.
TouchWiz was a nightmare for me.
@@sreejanspov Man, early TouchWiz was actually pretty good compared to other brands' OSes, back in the day.
Being a Samsung user since a decade i can honestly say that Samsung has improved a lot, from the most laggy ui to the finest ui as One ui, Samsung has come so far. I truly appreciate it💙
Same here
I agree, I had a Note one two three and four, the Samsung OS was so bad, I would always flash a custom ROM, it got harder and harder to do that because of knocks implementation so I stopped buying them
Agree... They made their ui lot faster and easier to use
6000mah & 7000mah battery mobiles❤️
One ui is still a bloated mess.
Using the Samsung Galaxy A51 for almost two and a half year and I must say that the phone is working quite well even with the Exynos chipset. The update don't have any major noticeable bugs. Nevertheless One UI with the addition of Good Lock gives the best customization ever. Hats off to the Software department of One UI 👍
OneUI miles better than Stock had to learn it the hard way after switching to Pixel from Galaxy, switched back to a Galaxy again
Finally someone calling stock android out. The customisation in stock android is very limited until Google pushes something out in major OS updates. Other UIs like One UI, MIUI etc just need to be updated from a security standpoint. Featurewise these 3rd party OS's are quite loaded.
There is no "Stock Android" on Pixels, Motorola is closer to "Stock Android". As for Samsung having "better software updates", no. That's not something everyone agrees to. I was using Android 13 on my Pixel months before Samsung phones had access to Android 13. Longevity of updates is only part of the equation.
@@nauzhror what do u mean by there's no stock Android on PIXEL and MOTOROLA is the one giving you stock Android? LMAO it's totally the opposite.
@@nauzhror My parents have pixel phones. If you go to the Android settings you can cover all options in 10 mins. Since there's barely anything to customise or modify. Other OS'S gives you that extra freedom.
@@iamsid23 and here I'm too lazy to change even stock wallpaper for years 😂 i like pixel because of smart features (select text image from any window, live translation, auto redialing on gdialer, class notes via recorder app ) not some gimmicky features which i may use once in 2-3 months or may not at all.
@@anukoolgangwar7255 everyone's taste is different. If you have a phone that has multiple customisation options and then you come to a pixel, you will feel that customisation is limited.
I have a Galaxy S21 Android 13 and I love the One Ui 5 interface, everything I need every day is easy to find and different enough compared to standard android. I hate the standard Android scrolling in the menus, so after this my options are either an Iphone or, once again, the new Samsung.
All of this, on top of the 5-year software support ☺️
*on flagships
@@droiddevx03for you it's midrange
For us (Indians) a 20k phone is expensive
they now offer long term software update for mid range a series devices too now@@raidev_
Most of the features said are even on pixel
1) pixel has dedicated Titan M2 chip
( Also easier to use custom roms than any other phone ig)
2) it also has a secure folder, you can directly save photos into it while clicking but not private apps though.
3) there is a feature "rules" on pixel, may not be as customisable as Bixby but it has its own pros.
4) there's no pixel tablet to compare split screen
5) software updates pixel has its own benefits like feature drops and faster software updates.
6) copying text is far better on pixels, you can directly copy text, while navigating in recent apps and you can edit it on the go. The new privacy feature erases the copied text from the clipboard in 1 hour, you can pin it if you want for more time.
Totally agree, not sure where on earth he completely missed these things just felt like a promotion video even though it's not.. but some features are good.. but not a big fan of Themes I feel it just takes away the premium tag feels like another redmi, oppo, vivo phones.
There's one more smart selection tool, I was wondering whether he used pixel or not 😂
Yup you are right vro pixel is better moreover the one ui lags even in flagships so pixel is better although i am a iOS user 😊
@@JattJhangraso you accept pixel ui is better than oneshit ui ??
@@wannacry3382 yes
For me
1) iOS
2) Pixel ui
3) one ui
This is the real user comment. Feel reviewers are going far away from reality. Use the phone for a couple of days and miss all the features that are not advertised.
I always thought Samsung phones had horrible UI with bloatware and all. Once I switched to a note for the first time, I couldn't go back! Their UI even beats customization you get from custom ROMs. Now I can't live without ONE UI and when I got my next Samsung phone everything just seamlessly migrated to the new phone. I think their UI is seriously underrated.
Even with the new fold phones a major consideration for me is how the s pen works so well and UI is so amazing to work with, the other manufacturers don't even come close.
One UI is probably the BIGGEST reason why I won't leave Samsung in the short-term. There is so much baked into it that I no longer feel the need to use third-party launchers and I'm a LONG-time Nova fan. It's also clean and elegant to me.
I'm always up for Stock Android. The thing is once you start getting the Stock experience, you can never go back to any other UI skin. And I'm saying this as an Android user who was once a huge fan of ColorOS. But then I guess, to each his own.
Really? Cause i have been using stock Android since 2020 and it sucks. Miss the miui usefulness
@@jazzyanant like I said, to each his own. That's why we have so many skins for Android.
Has always been using stock Android then i switch to one UI for a year now, so much better than stock.
Lol no wonder! Color os user will love anything 😂😂
@@sathyaki I don't know why ColorOs gets so much hate. But to be honest OPPO, Realme etc have that and their phones are more affordable. Priced under 15k. Not everyone goes for high end phones and not everyone is a gamer.
As an owner of s20fe, I am impressed by the UI and how optimized it is for android 12 and also very feature-rich, I must say I have used Redmi note 7 pro, Poco F1, and Poco X2 Before but man this has taken my experience to the next level, my biggest up is you can connect your phone to your Windows PC so quickly and it gives you a taste of apple ecosystem.
You can connect your phone with windows with any phone with AirDroid. It doesn't have to be Samsung. you should have brought Xiaomi phones like Redmi note 10 pro but instead you brought Samsung. Now that you have Samsung your phone has no custom ROM and if it does it only has basic ones like lineages OS it won't have advanced ones like evolution X or corvus.
@@Austinredstoner these Samsung fanboys have no knowledge about custom ROMs
@@Austinredstoner bro I agree with you in terms of features there are custom ROMs Personally I have used some custom ROMs on my Redmi note 7 pro one of my favorites is pixel experience, havoc OS both on android 12, but I am actually talking about the features which officially come with Samsung's oneUI which gives you enough features which you can use in your day-to-day usage without getting very technical and my main point which I am talking about is the optimization of the hardware with software with fewer bugs in companies own UI is excellent, when I was talking about Windows Link I am talking about the exclusive features which only work with Samsung devices like screen share on phone link app which you can't get on other android devices, copy paste throughout windows and Samsung device, and also Big up for Samsung Dex, as i work on my PC so much i can't be able to use my phone that much this features which help me with that things without knowing technical things about it or terms of use, I hope you understand what I am trying to express with this n that comment, have a great time ✌
I am also fan of Samsung.. but fan fan edition has less battery beckup and heating issue.😢

Previously I'm a One plus user and a big fan of Oxygen OS, when it collaborated with OPPO UI lost interest in using One Plus devices. Then I have made a right decision in choosing Samsung S21 FE series, Its super cool with many features. Thank You Samsung 🤟
Same here.....was using oneplus 7t....now s21 fe❤️
Seriously...bro
One plus did a huge mistake
Same, but sometimes I still feel oxygen OS (Original one) is better in certain aspects
Can't agree any better, my whole experience with Samsung devices is summed up in one video. I love the way where Samsung is headed but will be very happy if Samsung flagship compact phones like the S21 & S22 come with better battery life like the iPhone 13 for comparison.
Yeah battery is not as par but having both iPhone 13 and s22, i would still prefer s22 because how fast it charges. Also camera is better.
@@shantanuvarsan4545 i was charging s22 3 times a day, now with i13 its peaceful one day. and s22 charge at 25 watt for its 3700 mah battery vs 20watt for i13 for its 3100 mah battery. so 0-80% is same, never did full charge and is not needed.
and for everything else i13 seemed better and more dependable for me. s22 main issue was lot of heating all the time even when browsing through pages, its always hot and eating battery fast - Sam said its normal for this phone and I should have bought S22+ - what an excuse they gave so I decided to sell it. better buy i13mini as a compact phone.
@@techcloud2510 don't worry bro. those prob won't hapen with next seirs cuz of sd 8 gen 2 fabbed on tsmc's nodes.
S20 FE (SD865) user here. I'm realy satified with the software as well as hardware experience. Camera, display and performance are all amazing for the money I had spend for the device (around ₹40K in May 2021) and I do agree that Galaxy S series phones are the closest all rounder alternative for iPhones , keeping in mind the battery drainage and all other drawbacks of Samsung phones including flagships but hey Samsung doesn't own/manufacture the OS, processor (Exynos==$hit). Call recording, Dex, quick share and bixby (for prposes like playing music, setting alarm, making call, asking weather where G Assistant is still inconsistent) makes up really useful features. BUT... there are still some specific areas Samsung needs to improve. Eg: I used to make NFC payments using Samsung Pay in India, which was very useful and convinient. But now when I came to UK, I'm not able to use or even install Samsung wallet for payments with cards provided by banks in UK. As I understand it is a software limitation, as the OS bundle (IDK the exact name) was originally configured for use in India, we can't change the region , because of which we can't use Samsung pay app built for another region... where as with Apple Pay we can change the region and use of cards provided in that region. Thankfully I'm able to use Google wallet for NFC payments... AND I know this is not something which affects the overall phone experience, a solution to some issues like would make phones much better...
Me too ...S20 FE 5g Navy got it from 27 k...discount..simply awesome
My Pixel 4a has better camera than s20 fe or any samsung phone ever sometimes better s23 also (Main only)
08:58 Don't know why everyone fails to understand this simple logic- Knox Security does NOT prevent you from unlocking the bootloader. It's just that it will get tripped and will remain in that state even after you locked the bootloader [as opposed to Pixel and other Android devices wherein you could easily revert to stock and hence pass SafetyNet, Play Store Certification, and WideVine L1].
It's no longer just another tech video. To me, it worked as a tutorial to use Samsung phone efficiently. Thank you

My sister has Samsung A12. It has already received Android 13 (It's 3rd major android update), despite being a $150 phone. Although latest flagships from many chinese companies have not received android 13.
Using M52 from 4-5 months, updated to one UI 5 and the phone oh my GOD just works tooooooo smoothly as butter and the features just on next level...😍😍😍😍
After watching this video i think i can appreciate Samsung Phones even more. Still doesn't have a real Material U design tho but it's definitely functional
It's not true that samsung is pushing updates to only flagship phones.
I have M32 5g and I got the Android 13(One UI 5.0) update on 17th November but when I checked the samsung's timeline for pushing this update it had to arrive on my phone somewhere around January Beginning but I recieved the update literally 1.5 months before the date told by Samsung.
Samsung is just killing it🔥🔥🔥🔥in terms of data security and software updates.
yes true, I got checked my f62 and guess what I've got it too! The only thing I hope is they improve is stuttering, that's clearly there in this phone.
EDIT: Now, that I've got update installed, it's so much smoother now! Best update till now I would say.
i have an a11 and when android 12 (and also android 11!) was promised in August, we received it around November and December
1st Pixel also has a built in security chip like samsung its called the titan M2,
2nd There is an option called locked folders in pixel devices
3rd you can set rules in pixel phones like routines in bixby
same can be said about samsung's UI it has so many missing features that are exclusive to pixel and which are quite useful like assistant voice typing and now playing.
Samsung UI is not clean I can easily confuse it for MI UI, its confusing and I also don't like the style. Pixel UI is optimized and it works like a charm.

I casually clicked on this video, and after reading your comment I manually checked for the update with least hope, thinking the update might not have been rolled out in all regions and for all devices, but it already started downloading it!

Samsung UI is one of the best Android skins out there and since it has a lot of customization features it becomes a heavy skin but the problem is Samsung does not provide enough powerful processor to back that up. Samsung galaxy a53 which is a mid range phone has One UI 5 but has Exynos 1280 which is not so powerful to handle such a heavy skin. If Samsung started giving qualcom processors in their mid range phones then it would make a good option to buy their mid range series.
Good point. I have an a53 myself and while I do like the extra features, the performance issues are really frustrating at times.
But for someone who is not into customizations and simple clear UI, Stock UI is just amazing ❤️ and suites my usage
Then just get an iphone, bruh!
@@stealthmaster003did bro really say "get an iphone"
damn. the Samsung One UI has so much features to explore and it's so exciting for someone like me who uses Android 8.1
Samsung Dex is the most underrated feature. BTW you can use Samsung Wireless DeX with any newer smart TVs (Android OS, Web OS ones). If you have a 5GHz Wifi router at home, the screen refresh rate stays close to 50fps in Wireless DeX mode. The phone screen can be used as a Trackpad/keyboard while you use Dex. With USB Type-C screens, performance is the best, however.
HaHa I used to use iPhone for long. I tried pixel but sold it. Now I've settled for One UI. It's just goated, feature rich & smooth. Stock UI is too simple & lacking for me. Samsung has the best UI.
for your knox security arguement even pixels have titan chip which does the same job....
I have galaxy tab s7+ and its really awesome i get updates on time and also seamless connection between my s20 fe and buds
If samsung improves the animations and smoothness of the one ui then i can definitely say that no other os even the ios can beat the one ui skin

Tasker comes in handy for auto rotation on/off. :)
Bixby Routine is an underrated but very much useful feature.
Ok, keep features aside... The app icons, the music player in the notification panel, the status bar icons, overall the total user experience is much better in Stock Android than One UI. I'm currently using both so this is my personal opinion.
Yeah music player on pixel looks cool
100% agree, original is original
You can literally change all of that in one ui
For me,bixby routine is the best thing on the phone.. Not only app routine, I use routine for many things..1. When the charge is done, songs play start for 2 minutes. Battery protects off from 6 a.m. so that phone will not charge to 100% for the whole night.. Data on and off in nights automatically.. D.n.d starts automatically in a few app use.. And so many things.. But samsung needs to introduce app lock.. It is not good to use a 3rd party app for lock.. activity launcher is okay, but why not inbuilt?
How I use Bixby Routines like if I leave my home and the wifi network gets weak or disconnected mobile data will automatically turn on and brightness will go up and vice versa. it's super useful and hassle-free, I just can't move to any other brand this is so well made, GGs Samsung.
Yes and manually screen orientation is also superb.. this rotates everything, home screen too
Could just use secure folder. You can hide the entire folder and toggle it on or off in the quick panel. It needs passwords or biometrics to get inside. You can use duplicate apps. It also has an entirely different file system from your standard apps on your phone so no one would see what's in that app without going to that specific version of the app in the secure folder. Also, you can change the name, icon, and icon color to hide the folder.
Once upon a time there lived a oxygen OS , so snappy and works great, who all missing it 😢 ?
I use samsung dex on brothers budget laptop and it works pretty good. Bixby routine is another good feature. I use my home location to enable bixby routines

And now with Android 14 you can drag and drop between apps even opening new app while dragging
Best what you can do is use a custom theme or launcher on top of one ui, though some of the features will be limited, but you will get most 😅

1 year later and this has changed
Samsung gives this rich android feeling. Using pixel i was shocked to find out that basic features like locking an app in the task switcher to prevent it from closing when clicking clear all is not in stock android. OneUi has really matured and it shows
dude one hand use without shrinking the screen is a deal breaking feature.
Good video. But here are a few corrections.
1. Knox is a hardware and has nothing to do with the UI. Taking that in consideration Google also has a Titan M security chip in pixels. And you can directly save the camera images in a locked folder by long pressing on the photos thumbnail in the camera app and selecting the locked folder.
2. Samsung's four years software update is equal to Google's 3 years, as Google always ships their phones with latest Android whereas samsung usually has older version.
1. Wtf ? Hardware is only there for assisting. Security is run by software. Software security is always 99% software if not 100%. Extra chip just splits the processing power
@@dalvik5285 yeah bro. It's both an integration of software and hardware. I just wanted to mention that Google also has a separate security chip and security features baked into the pixel software. But it is not present in stock Android on other phones because they don't have the security chip hardware. Hardware differs from brand to brand. If he is saying that there is a separate security chip in Samsung phones. He should also say that there is a similar chip in pixel too coz he used a pixel phone to denote stock Android in this video. I hope you get my point.
Samsung will recive 4 major OS upgrade. Not 4 years of update.
@@aswinboopathy593 The S10 is the latest Samsung smartphone to be released with an older Android version.
Not to mention that at Samsung even after the last Android version planned for a smartphone, it receives updates throughout the year until the next Android version , at Google if the latest version planned for your smartphone is Android 14 in October 2023, you will not receive any updates from October 2023 to October 2024 unlike Samsung

Having 3 Years Old M30s and Using S22's One ui 5 Software By Porting It Since i am A Developer :) I have All Samsung Flaghship Features including Samsung Dex
In My Opinion:
First thing first, about the hardware security level which is Knox, pixel also bring this that called as titan m2 chip which encrypted your data offline without being transfer into server.
Secondly, pixel does have secure folder for picture in google photos which u can set and transfer those photos and unlock it with pin/fingerprint though Samsung featuring this with more option and easier .
Thirdly, about the customisation, it is basically matter of preference cause there people out there don't even bother to use theme so their can live using pixel ui however there is vice versa. Sometime Samsung theme does make animation more worst than worst stock Samsung animation but yeah, it matter of preference
Fourthly, Pixel also have the same kind of routine feature which is there inside google assistant setting which u can create a routine for telling weather, reminder, reading a news and etc. Also those automation can be create using action block which is app by google
Next about the copy text feature, it also there in google photos which u can copy text eventho it's not customizable like Samsung
The update on pixel is 3 year compared to Samsung one ui which 4 year however, pixel ui likely to bring more feature in the future rather than Samsung which rarely give new feature
This aged poorly
Only thing I hate about One UI is you can't scroll vertically Inside the app drawer.
Bro you can change that using samsung good lock. Just how a task manager changes

@@arunbalakrishnan8978 Can you tell where that option is?

Tbh why tf would you use vertical scroll for the app drawer? it's so shitty looking
One thing here, I absolutely not like how icons look in Monet themeing in One UI, in some accents I think they should make their wallpaper themed icon more contrasty, like sometimes it looks so faded - that the icon becomes properly non-understanable !
Few points:
Google has dedicated Titan Chip for hardware security.
Safe folder also.
Not to forget, it's very smooth.
Which UI skin is better is highly opinionated... I feel stock Android performs well in the areas that matter the most. Sure, one UI gives many features. But how significant difference they make in the way you use the phone will decide which skin is better for YOU. So, bottom line, choose the skin with features that matter for you as a user. I'd pick pixel experience over one ui 🙃 because i wouldn't use most of the"cool" features that samsung provides. (Eg. Samsung dex 🙃)
Cause u r basic 🤔
The only problem with Samsung phones is - they don't age well if it's got midrange chip... But my Pixel 4a even after having a midrange chip has aged quite well...!!
Bixby routine is the best feature of any brand most underrated feature too
I have s21 fe 5g, same color as the one in your hand, thanks for info 👍...
Yes, Samsung has more features, but they all feel very unrefined. Pixel UI features look very cohesive when compared to one UI. Pixel UI is the only android UI that's closest to the iOS. As a UI developer myself I can assure you that, we have something called heuristic principles when we design the UI, look it up. More creates ambiguity, and sometimes less is more!!!
How are they unrefined? Lol, their features are actually very refined because most of them have existed since the s8 l.
It seems the UI is designed by kids basically, does not look professional and the menus are still confusing.
@ppoyekar the pixel ui? Yeah we know
I have both Samsung and Xiaomi phones, I bought the Xiaomi for myself and Samsung for my mom thinking Xiaomi will have more ads and bloat whiich she won't be able to handle, but to my unpleasant surprise, Samsung literally auto installs bloatware apps even without OTA updates which ruins any pros it has to offer. Its come to the point where I trust MIUI's user experience more then One UI.
Before saying anything i would like
To know the names of ur moms phone 😀
I have faced exactly the same thing. Samsung low and mid budget phones are trash. Avoid them like the plague.

Never by samsung phone under 25k
U can get better options on that range
@@MORaXedit1 I doubt most parents need anything above 15k, my only mistake was to choose Samsung thanks to the marketing, now I know that a 10k amoled phone from Xiaomi is a much better deal for parents because neither they install apps which aren't required and from what I've seen via updates and news, Xiaomi is moving away from serving ads which even now one can turn off easily.
I miss the 3 finger screenshot feature on one ui
I'm *neutral* right now while owning both iPhone and Android with iPhone being primary device. When I was an android fan, I was also a stock android fan. This *video did shed a light* as to the amazing things that One UI can do. However here's something people don't realise,
Generally customization sounds like a nice to have, but I don't care for it much. You might say well, would you want a device *with* customisation option or *without* the option at all. Here, I would like the extra customisation option *if and only if* those options do not affect the *performance* of the software experience, which is *never* the case. Even having widgets, sometimes they don't even load up. This is also why *MKBHD* and other reviewers prefers stock.
Now you might say you can stick to default settings and don't have to use these options, the existence of these options itself even not in use still affects performance, from an ex Android developer's perspective. Because additional options means more complicated code, meaning more CPU usage.
The reason why I chose to have iPhone is because stock android these days the only option is Pixel and latest pixel flagship has lost against every other device in almost every aspect except perhaps computational camera (which I do not care for much if it's going to destroy its already pathetic battery).
I have S21 Fe
I love this UI♥️
What android and ui does it have?
What version? Mine exynos
"Google should take notes, especially in Keep." Hahahahah.. u guys are nailing every aspect a tech video has to offer. Kudos!! Great video!!
Pratik.. u the man
I own a s22 Ultra, and I like Windows Companion APP more than DEX. DEX is slow in terms of animations and loading apps, On the other hand Companion app with the recent update lets you use any apps on your phnone as a seperate window like most windows softwares. Just connect your laptop and your phone to the internet. Also, enable companion app in settings and you are good to connect to your laptop seemlessly
On my M13 5g Android 13 update came on January & there are almost all the features except some features❤️
The outro music is Relax(Hold on)-Autohacker..
