Awesome video! Keep them coming, this is a niche in the YT aviation community which is lacking, there aren't many Aircraft technicians who make videos like this, and the ones that do don't make many!
My company understands that this is a free commercial for them. You always see the logo on my shirt and as well name of the airline. Because one day you might need to decide with which airline to fly and you will choose one for which I work based on good feelings from my videos, because we care. It is that easy😉
@@zeto.r which is amazing. At my work, I am always commissioning our machinery at the customer premises and they are quite overzealous about confidentiality 🤷♂️
@@zeto.r Great video Thomash. It's really important to know for the passenger if the airline company management is adequate, doesn't skimp on safety and maintenance.
Absolutely wonderful. How do you ensure that the hydraulic lines to the motor are not connected in reverse? At a casual glance, the threading on both connectors seems to be identical.
Pretty cool to see how the hydraulic mule is used to spin up the RAT. Using a giant fan would be impractical. For the cover plate fasteners, it there a published torque value, or do they just get snug? Are they safety wired? The reason I ask is that it seems that loss of the cover plate would not have an adverse effect on the operation of the RAT.

Thank you, anyway it takes a huge amount of time to put this together, but I'm trying my best
You're so lucky they let you film and publish these operations at your job. I wish I could do the same at mine :)

Thank you!
thankyou for this amazoning content, finally there is a full details video for RAM Air Turbine test procedure demo in YT
Glad you liked it! Working hard on videos and also trying to improve quality
Yh my brand new a320's RAM was not working properly and this vid helped me diagnose the issue🥳🥳
I would love to hear more about your problem and how you figure it out that you have problem with it
How does the RPM sensor work? How does it measures the RPM?
Really interesting videos, thanks for the insights👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely work
actually it is quite nice

Interesting to know that the propeller drives a hydraulic pump and not an electric generator as on other aircraft models.
Hydraulic is more important due to flight controls essential electric systems can be powered feom batteries
Yep, I thought the same way
❤❤❤
Awesome...Thanks.
You're welcome!
Thank you now i can try this on a real airplane with this
Now you just need to get a license and type course, so see you in 6 years
@zeto.r 🫡
😉
thanks
You're welcome!
Great video Thomash. Maybe you know how much power such a turbine can produce at 100 knots?
I had my train long time a ago but as far as I remember it works till 70knots
you guys are awesome, in case of emergency do the pilots call you for engineering support, or is that handled by some other department
Topp
👍🇮🇳❤
the setup before the test seem to take more time than the test itself...and you need 3 people to run this test. interesting.
Yes preparation is really long, you can actually did it in 2 people
@@zeto.r I understand the ram air turbine is a very important component. Is it ever replaced?
Yes I have a video about it 😁. I will try to post long one as well
