What a great video. I love Aer Lingus! A lovely couple too. To think that there are only two people flying this giant machine carrying hundreds of people. They make it look so easy, as if they’re just driving the family car.
Its so good to see his calm re-assuring, respectful manner when his Captain asked questions, there is a great professional bond between them that makes them the perfect partners in the air...safe flying and great landing
Imagine the augments … Then you get a Delusional Woman angry enough to start fighting with her husband at the control of the plane , A recipe for disaster.
A very professional “couple” of pilots. We’ve been married 50 years…and would have turned around back to Dublin because she “didn’t like my attitude”. “The passengers will figure it out!” But I still love her..
even for couples in a private relationship, like here married, during the start and landing procedure is any private conversation strictly forbidden. Not so easy in a private relationship where are emotions are clother too. Needs discipline on another level.
That's what passengers want to see: no drama, no fuss, just skilled professionals getting the job done safely and efficiently. The greatest compliment would be: "Thank you, the flight was completely... ordinary!"😁
Beautiful the face expressions! so concentrated during last approach phase … and not so well hidden smiling when you got the target of perfect landing! 😉
It's amazing how much solid engineering and continuous quality improvement in everything from maintenance procedures to cockpit procedures, to airport technology has made flying the safest form of transportation by far. In the early years of passenger jets in the 60's there were major crashes in the US literally every year!
Watching videos like this is an excellent way to dispell the fear of flying. And when ever I drive into a motorway service station my wife and I always fall out about how and where we should park the car
As a frequent flyer✈✈✈✈, I have flown into EWR 🏢 and this is the first time that I have seen it from the "left-hand" POV,👩🏼✈ all I can say amazing job well done and you are worth every dollar they pay you 👍👍👍
10:25 That little smile when the nose gear touches ground, knowing she did a really good landing 😊 Also, "sterile cockpits" never ceases to impress me. Here, when the pilot observing the flock of birds but the pilot flying doesn't capture his callout: Not "what?" or "Excuse me?" or something like that but "Say again". Clear, quick and to the point.
This is not exactly a 321neo, this must be an 321LR. Only those have larger fueltanks so to have a range across the Atlantic and still have fuel for alternates and holding patterns and failed approaches.
I was one told by a pilot that navigating on the ground at very busy large airports can be mire stressful that than the flight. So many potential obstacles and other planes all moving around plus the multiple exits and turns to get to the designated spot. It is something we don't think about as passengers. Regards from South Africa
When your mom said you need a bigger bus for the kids, I don't think she meant airbus xd. Wonderful landing and a great team representing the Aer Lingus brand.
This is the exact flight I take from Dublin whenever I fly back to my hometown for the holidays. Wonder if I’ve had these two pilot a plane I’ve been on at some point 🤔
View from the cockpit is just gorgeous. Wish you could still go up there as a passenger and get to see it all. Wanted to learn to fly but couldn’t afford it.
Wow, that was fantastic! Watching such great piloting from a married pair of Captains was brilliant. I'd feel very safe in a plane either of them were in charge of.
un super couple de "captain" , bravo à eux , très sympa, j'adore Aer Lingus , pour avoir volé avec cette compagnie pour aller en Irlande au départ de France ..fly safe captains 😉🤙
I have landed at EWR Newark hundreds of times and it nice to see it from the cabin perspective. Nice job great teamwork. I once did that in 130mph crosswinds NOT. So smooth - but I’m still here.
It was a unique husband & wife flight 😃☘️ Great job!!! I’m a huge fan of this channel 🥰 I loved the North-South approach views from the cockpit into Newark airport (EWR) - unto 22L. My home town airport ✈️🗽🍎
Our dearest friends are both airline pilots with the same airline. They have two young children and are our hero's. We love them both and as "older" folks, we are amazed at how they can be both professional airline pilots and parents. One evening babysitting our grandson and we're exhausted. :-)
Bravissimo, Mrs. Pilot...what a professional! You got a good partner there, Mr. Pilot! Mrs. Pilot is not only a wonderfully confident and an extremely clever and independent woman, but a stone cold fox to boot, with an incredibly attractive accent. You're a pair of bosses! And, you make a fine couple 😊. Fantastic landing, by the way. Was fascinating to watch. The concentration and skill. Brilliant. Best wishes, both.
Actually i wonder how it works out having two captains on the same flight? A first officers pay is obviously less than a captain's so one of them might be taking a pay cut when they fly together... or maybe not.

amazing how comfortable she was, also watchng the adjustments, she cold land that plane in her sleep

Two of the best seats on the plane with the best views!
Well produced. The landing from different perspectives was really fun. Thanks!
Ireland is on my bucket list, what a treat it would be to fly with this crew!
Unfortunately chances for that are low. I can see they are both captains so I guess they are rarely rostered together.
I tuned in just to hear those lovely accents.
You both get us home safely every day. Thanks for making Aviation POSSIBLE 👍
