Builds don't need to be adaptable when you have enough Larval-Tears. Remember that Fextra Focuses on PvE and treats it as if you were a blind Player. Their Build vids are ideal when you don't want to get Spoilt.
“Builds dont need to be adaptable wehn you have enough larval tears”…. Well that might be true if you could respec in the middle of an invasion, but you cant. You can have properly distributed stats to change your kit though. But that doesnt require larval tears, just good planning. And im aware of fextra’s focus, but theyre a meme. No hate, but it helps to sell the point of what the topic of discussion was about

@Rust_BKT if I'm in s, then there shouldn't be a stat proc on either end. If I actually get hit, then it makes sense to suffer stat procs, but all the ghost hits do is promote spam until (insert stat proc) happens for free damage.

@@reynauldwhistles2338 that's very fair. I was just thinking it'd be wierd to nerf one specific status effect. Hmmmm. Maybe worthwhile nerfing sleep bone bolts themselves for less sleep sp it's less effective overall? Machine crossbow and pulley can still use then fairly well in that case maybe?
They already added a cooldown on sleep/madness proc, maybe extend it(30s seconds or something). And lower the build up.
They are notorious for misinformation and instead of teaching players how to buildcraft, they throw together half baked “builds” because its an easy market to exploit, and as a business, its their right to do so. No hate, but it helps to sell the point of what the topic of discussion was about
Bro Im sorry but I cant hang with the stuff in meta level anymore. Its absolutely the most toxic thing Ive ever seen.
Its just not fun. Ive moved to lower level invasions, still got problems but at least I dont want to pull my hair out when Im done playing.
Seems like a lot of work, my counter to these builds is to block them on Steam
Frfr
The jumping stuff is nice but yea block on steam is the best hard counter
Absolutely, im a big advocate of tailoring your experience, if you dont like fighting particular players, block and move on 🤘
I only get the option to block communication and report on steam. Does anyone know if it actually blocks you from playing with them again?
@@Elijah557 yea it blocks from playing
Why is the shamsir good? I never used it
Most of the time I just spitefully accept I'm probably dying if they're spamming the spread crossbow, it's that ridiculous... especially for sleep status
How do you move your character so erratically like that? Whenever someone blends their animations with that erratic movement I just panic. How tf to do it?
@@somerandom3048 just hold sprint
easiest counter for this is blocking them on steam, works a treat.
Removing stat procs on ghost hits would fix all of the issues with stat procs. Why am i getting punished for dodging?
Counter-proposal, why wouldnt the opponent be rewarded for landing a confirmed hit on their side of the connection
@Rust_BKT if I'm in s, then there shouldn't be a stat proc on either end. If I actually get hit, then it makes sense to suffer stat procs, but all the ghost hits do is promote spam until (insert stat proc) happens for free damage.
@@_You_Are_Not_Him_ what you seem to not be accounting for is that you *didnt* roll in time. You rolled late, causing the phantom hit. On the opponents screen, you werent in s when their hit landed. You want to punish players for playing well, and reward others who fail to adjust to the latency? You want to absolutely kill status builds that already have a hard enough time against players that adapt to the setup? It sounds to me you just want to avoid putting in effort and just take easy fights.
Now I see people using some bow that gives the arrows tracking, so they curve mid air to hit you??
@@Muhammad-re4wk yep, bone bow. It has horrible tracking at close range, but its pretty much guaranteed to hit from ranged
Yea jump it 💜 lmao i just saw one and then the video popped up 😂
This is why I wait a few months for FROM to nerf things into the ground and trust me they WILL nerf that crossbow
Now if they could finally fix the chainsaw glitch
the amount of times i get invaded by sleep shotty is absurd .. even at rl 30 , super cheap
that sounds like ass
Simply use Thioller’s concoction before they can kill you.
I knew the dlc would make pvp even worse, but tbh, its even more fun now 😅
This games pvp is such a mess, god damn.
Do you not just have the ability to interact or pvp if you're in the 200s or higher?
Matchmaking is based on your characters level (and max level weapon but that likely doesnt matter here) so if youre outside the meta range of about 150 youre less likely to find opponents to match with
@bleedrainbows9522 but it can scale you down so why would it matter?
@@DJIronChef wish i knew, the system is what it is though
@bleedrainbows9522 I've been level 5 and got summoned to help in the early game like tree sentinel, but someone pop in with Rivers and destroy everyone there lol. It's a joke
There are still people playing in the 200s, even max level. Skill level aren't that high on those levels though and it's mostly a spamfest.
This is super useful and a great video but it make me want to play Elden Ring pvp even less. All that swapping around mid fight is exhausting. Having to play rock paper scissors vs cheesy op crap also gets in the way of the fun.
When great Katana handbook?
poise viable elden ring builds be like 3:48
🖤
you think anyone who pvps uses fextras builds? they’re primarily for pve
They fall more under the cateogry of “cosplay” builds than anything else, and its their perogative to do so. “Builds” are a very exploitsble market and as a business, its their right to take advantage of it, but that doenst mean that what they produce has any substance. The call out was to emphasize a point, not just bad mouth their content.
I use it as a fictional American martial art joke
If I only added one talisman or item. Which one is best?
Hard to say. If you have the resistance to tank 1 shot, then headshot tali. Otherwise ailment. But id always recommend all 3
Defensive talismans, such blasphemy!
