Hey so I thought my hair was straight, just frizzy, my whole life, and I was bullied for having “ugly hair”, and everyone would make fun of me and tell me they were gonna pull my hair out.
Then... I came across ur channel and realised that my hair was actually curly (3b) and I started watching you every single day. Now my hair looks the best it’s ever looked, and everyone always tells me how jealous they are, which I’d never got before!
So... thankyou (I literally owe u my life) and keep up the good work beautiful ❤️

omg literally same! i grew up thinking i had frizzy straight hair for 18 whole years until i came across a video that prompted me to put curly hair products--which resulted in curls!
Ayyy same. Thought my hair was frizzy and just wavy. Turns out those waves were just sad curls
Same story ! I was bullied most my life for my dry frizzy lifeless hair. I took extreme measures to hide it's nature through keratin treatment, using heat everyday until i damaged It and had to cut all of It many times during the year. Now i am finally discovering my beautiful 3b nature at 25 and i am still in disbelief that i always had beautiful curls, i just couldnt realize they existed. The 14 years old me would never have even dreamed of It.
The fact that people still try and tell you that your hair is “straight” just shows how ignorant people really are on curly hair!

as a half white+half black (mixed lol) girl, i didnt grow around my Dad’s side of the family as much as i did with my mums. so i only knew how to do ponytails, buns+ braids. and no, not saying you have to be black to know how to braid, but i just never knew how to maintain my hair (grow it out,lengthen it and just style it for skl etc). i didnt have to worry for my whole childhood, but last year in yr 7 it hit me that ‘i cant have my mum do my hair anymore’...so i searched up so many tutorials+many helped me, but honest to God, it’s been a whole year+ i FINALLY found someone i could trust with my curly hair. rn growing out my hair+trying to lengthen it as well as try out cute different hairstyles too!!

same, my mom has straight ass hair, and she just brushed it dry, and braided it (dutch braids) or put it in a very very tight bun :( it kinda ruined my hair ngl, but i love her and im getting started on the cgm!

Love these results. My hair also looks straight when wet. I have a combination of 3a/3b hair, I have different curl patterns in my hair, and one side of my hair always seem curler than the other. I'm going to try your technique and see how that goes.

OML I just got the Denman brush today and I decided to try this literally my hair looks exactly like yours and I am obsessed thank you so much! One problem is that the underneath of my hair isn’t curly at all it’s completely straight and it doesn’t give me as much volume as yours do you have any tips?

Really love your curls and you are gorgeous as well. I have 3a/3b hair but it's much more dense and thick so I have to section it in tiers to apply products. I've been doing curly girl method for about 18months but still can't get the product amount exact to have volume and definition. Thank you for your videos. They are always so fun!

Wow, your curls are very gorgeous and lively! I'm a naturally curly girl as well (a fellow 3b'er, thick and coarse). It's very long, half way down my back. Funny thing...I've never truly appreciated my own curls but when I see someone else's, I'm in total awe. Must be a naturally curly thing, lol. Anyway, I really like your prep regimen - I mix products too and get a great finish. For my density and coarseness, I use A LOT of detangling milk on damp hair, air dry/blow dry, then apply intense argan oil to dry hair. Beats the humidity and holds up well! I don't know how much money I tear through on product with all this hair, but it's sure worth every dime. The two products I use are Pro-v Gold Series ( Leave On Detangling Milk & Pro-v Gold Series Intense Moisturizing Oil infused with Argan Oil). Cheers and really like your channel👍🙂

Constantina Toner i have 3a curls, and I use the denman brush as if I were finger coiling. I find that it works better that way on looser curls.

Constantina Toner I use United we curl. It’s kinda thick, but it spreads really well, so a little goes a long way. And any flat brush that has a round handle should work. Just make sure that there’s no really rough parts that will grab your hair.
It’s a cream and a gel btw. Just realized I didn’t mention it. Lol

I finally got a blow-dryer with a diffuser, I also have 3b hair, so I've been looking at videos on how to diffuse my curls properly. Your hair turned out so beautiful.

Jayme s videos are incredible . I always knew I had nice curls but I never knew how to take care of them and so when ever I washed it , it was always dry with no definition and just frizz. But since I’ve watched her I’ve noticed a significant difference it’s amazing . Just simple things like washing it out in cold water and switching to Shea moisture (so expensive ) and even the products I had but never knew how to apply to get my curls to there full potential . It’s not so dry anymore with definition and a little frizz but honestly idc bc I’m so happy with my curls . Thank u so much Jayme . I’m only young but it’s nice to finally have some control and confidence in my hair

Tips for getting rid of permanent middle part! I want to be able to flip to either side and I can’t. 😫😫
When your hair is wet, try to flip your hair to one side every 15 min. I got this tip from India Batson and it has saved my root volume! :)

when your hair is soaking wet choose your part, it feels weird the first few times due to muscle memory but itll work after a few times

your videos have helped me so much i have hair that always tangled as a kid and was puffy and i always thought i just have troublesome hair, but i came across your video and got some products and deva curl shampoo (low poo) and i noticed that it is weighed down a lot and more definition but not enough kinda looks like a mop, so hopefully these tips will work , and i definitely dont have 3b curls/waves i washed my hair 2 days ago and the curls were great styled it ,yesterday washed again and now on day two it looks like beach waves with loose curls, so idk what i have but super malleable just like you said moral of the story hopefully ill try these tips out and help me out on my wavy/curly journey lol.

This really helped me out nd gave me some ideas because when I was lil I grew my hair out nd shampooed tf out it wit no products so I had frizzy/wavy mess that only started curling at the ends nd I dreaded it up alot so I ended up jus cutting it off nd regrowing it I'm 4 months into my curl journey nd my hair is not long yet but its deff turning into afro hair which is what I wanted for like 10 months now, thnx💯

No way!!!! I have very very similar hair to yours and it's never looked like this. I've been wearing my hair straight for the past 10yrs and quarantine has me giving the natural hair another chance. So far my hair still looks flat and frizzy. I have tons of straight hair products and recently got a gel and hair moisturizer that I realize is too heavy for my hair. Back to product hunting.

I really have a problem identifying my curl pattern because sometimes it seems like 3a or 3b and my hair isn't thicker exactly but I just have more hair. I don't know if that makes sense. I know you can have different types in my hair but it seems to dry differently sometimes. You said steer clear of super thick products. I’m also 3b and I stayed away from thick products for so long so that my hair wouldn’t get weighed down. My hair would be soft for about 24 hours before it would get extremely dry again and I would have to add more of my light products. I decided to put the health of my hair above volume and start using thick products. My hair stays soft and hydrated for 5 days now, and I didn’t even lose volume since I diffuse with my head upside down.

My hair is very similar to yours, the hair type is exactly the same, but i have way more hair, so this is what I'm gonna do:
I'll wash it using shampoo first, mainly on the scalp, wash out the shampoo, and do two rounds of conditioner, mainly on the lenghts and ends, then wrap it up in a bun and keep it on for around 10 minutes. After that I'll wash the conditioner out.
Then I'll apply a strong mousse, use the denman brush technique thing, and dry it with a diffuser.
