Don’t EVER watch the US version then XD
Constructive criticism is great
That's what I like about the Australian version too (with the original chefs/judges). No need to be obnoxiously rude just for the drama.
The mastercheft in my country sometimes just throw the damn food... the us version is scary..
People say this show is too polite but I feel like between Masterchef Canada and US, Canada feels more like an actual Masterchef show to me. They give good, helpful critique and do it respectfully. Not to mention that even the contestants are so much more mature. If people think this is too polite, then they're probably hella ill-mannered cuz it's literally just normal behavior that they're showing.
Yeah, I hate the bald guy from masterchef usa.

Well, the texture wouldn't change. Like if you add water to sand it becomes mudlike and wet but it's still grainy af.
@TheDoge 777 I'm not sure why you would add water to an already baked cake but I'll entertain your thought and tell you that unless you soak it for a bit in water your piece will still have a rough texture.
And those aren't exactly common people judging unable to realise the difference between something being moist/smooth in itself and something appearing like it due to being covered in liquid.

0:20 if the chocolate has cooled too much, why not run the dome through luke warm water for 5 sec, dry off and try again ?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, why not?
Probably has to do with the tempering of the chocolate. Running it under warm water might ruin the temperament, leading to a dull look and a higher melting point, which might not be desirable considering the "reveal" aspect of the dish.
So does that apply even if it is inside the plastic mould?

Having your back on the edge of falling off the competition, with three professional chefs watching over you, and knowing you are against someone who is equally talented and similar in passion as you are. You'll not even think of those sanitary habits. She was touching the mold not the chocolate itself
@@Filianore__ but it should just be a reflex not to touch your face/hair while cooking. You should not have to think about it.
